Or, on the flip side, are people saying they did nothing wrong? Constantly overlooking key characteristics, making it seem like they like the character in their head more than the character you got? Making them into a morally pure saint when they really aren't?

Hello! I'm Moons, I will be using it/them pronouns for this blog and I'll be your wonderful mod for this poll!

Do you have a blorbo who looks completely human but they give off the biggest creature vibes? Do most of their fanart/fans say "erm actually" when it comes to their human-looking canon appearance and give them creature traits anyways? Well, this is the tournament for you!

Rules for submissions!!

There will be fandoms that get vetoed automatically, stuff like HP and such I really don't like and don't want to include. if you don't know if a fandom is vetoed send in an ask and I'll answer.

Submit as many characters as you want but only submit a character once.

No real people, or oc's. Popular AU's that have enough to be their own source can be allowed but you need to provide why and the sources.

In canon they MUST look human. They can not have canon non-human traits, so c!philza minecraft would not qualify because he canonically has wings but c!tommyinit could because in canon he's just a guy.

Your little guys doesn't have to be human tho, if they are technically not human but look completly human in canon they qualify. So like a hsr or genshin character, they are human but not technically because they are not from earth.

Hello everyone! I’m your local tournament runner and pathetic character lover, Vee (he/they)!

Submit Characters To The Tournament

That Google Form will be open for a week, so it’ll close at 12:00 PM CST on November 26!

There will be certain fandoms I won’t accept characters from, but to avoid unnecessary drama I won’t be listing the fandoms, I simply won’t put the characters in the tournament.

This post will be updated with the bracket once submissions are closed and sorted through!

Also; you can submit multiple characters, but please do not submit the same character more than once! It fills the results with unnecessary spam and makes it more difficult to get through all the submissions.

Willie Jack:

she stole a truck full of chips, many many items from the frozen meat section in a grocery store, i think a car, and the copper out of street lights. i think she does graffiti also? there’s probably more but those were the ones i counted in the pilot episode. she also cursed someone and then un-cursed them. she didn’t win the indigenous character tournament which i’m still heartbroken about but listen we can get her to win this one okay. she’s not technically as morally gray as other characters, like she hasn’t killed anyone but she just likes causing chaos and starting shit. she regularly gets into fights with people and probably wins most of them. listen i just need willie jack to win a tournament okay

Fun fact: Although this one largely flew under the radar as more prominent characters went head-to-head in this round, this is the closest poll of the tournament so far.

ditched her fiancé to sail the seas, fell in love with Sinbad (childhood best friend of said fiancé) on the way, saved his ass once maybe twice. Sinbad then saves the city of the fiance (who's also the crown prince) after which both Marina and Sinbad ditch the city

Halea Haumea:

She's killed a lot of people and fooled many others. She set up our heroine to be killed and is likely a goddess in disguise who isn't so innocent as people think. She also set up her sibling to be portrayed as a villain

She is the definition of the trolley problem. Sacrificing those who trusted her in order to save the world, only to find out the world would have been safe either way.

Gertrude is a badass old lady who killed many people and many monsters, ate people’s fears and forced information out of them. She manipulated folks into doing what she needed, neglected the health of one of her closest allies, and stopped several apocalyptic rituals. She was only stopped because the guy trying to manipulate her into ending the world shot her in the chest three times. Morally gray queen, rest in violence maam

She once dismembered a guy and dumped him in a sinkhole, destroying an entire town, in order to prevent the end of the world. She's dedicated to preventing various armageddons, and her favorite methods to do so involve plastic explosives.

shes a girlboss plain and simple. shes an abused child who lost her closest friend and decided if she couldnt be the hero shed be the villain. she beat up her abuser and became the top commander of the evil army, just under its leader. she tried to kill her ex best friend sooooooo many times. she briefly found solace in the desert but everything came undone and she ended up activating a portal that would destroy the world. she lived briefly in paradise but things went wrong and she tried to kill her ex best friend again. these two are SO homoerotic just to be clear like its genuinely insane. she became consumed by her work and lost her few real connections in the horde. she sent her friend to beast island to die. she hired a hot shapeshifter who betrayed her and her abandonment issues only escalated. shes deeply compelling and sympathetic. she got abducted and joined the evil space empire. she betrayed them. she got mind controlled. her ex best friend saved her. she saved the universe with the power of kissing her gf who was dying of poison. she did a lot of atrocities while she was being the teenage commander of an army trying to take over the world. shes super girlboss. shes snarky as fuck. i love her deeply. vote catra

Did not give a SHIT that the evil invading force she worked for was evil even though she 100% knew. Instead of escaping she thought 'How do I make this worse for literally everybody including myself?' and then she did that.

She qualifies because she is the most morally ambiguous but she did it all out of love for the woman she loves. She's the best there is.

Jasnah Kholin:

She was a teacher to another protagonist and took a practical approach to the philosophy lesson by baiting some murderers into threatening them and then proceeds to kill them by turning them into fire. She is a brilliant scholar, and a proud athiest in a very religious world. When fighting a war she argues that they shouldn't negotiate with the enemy but that they must all be killed (not just the men but the women and the children). She also becomes queen and one of her first acts is ending slavery.
