How do you read?
I was the kind of child who was frequently neither heard nor seen. I would be curled up somewhere (quite often the cupboard in my bedroom) reading a book.
My Mother loved to read, and she very much passed that love on to me. I was a regular visitor to the library and had an adult library card from quite a young age because I’d run out of books I wanted to read in the children’s section.
