Mass casualties event. During a marathon in LA, a bomb has gone off. When first responders rush to the scene and start with triage, the 118 is among them as well. When a second bomb goes off, the city doesn't know what hit them. While coming up with a battle plan, two rookie police officers get the task to make a list of which first responders are encountered for and which ones are MIA. Sergeant Athena Grant's name is on that list. When her name gets called off, a few officers scoff. The two rookies, who have no idea who Sergeant Grant is as they have only been on the job for two weeks, are shocked when they hear that the woman survived earthquakes, mudstreams, almost drowning in the pacific and apparently put on a turn out suit to keep her husband from getting killed in a fire. Her husband, a firefighter captain at one of the houses near the police station, his reputation isn't much better when it comes to encountering danger... Both are compared to miracles; they always make it out, but will they be found now? What about the other members of the 118? How will their families handle this disaster?

Amongst the firefighters of firehouse 118, the event of the golden eyes is a real thing: Henrietta Wilson her eyes turned a shade of gold the moment she fell in love with her wife Karen, while her best friend Howard "Chimney" Han believes that he will never fall in love with a soulmate, because he is such a desperate cause. Evan Buckley screws women for a living and claims that golden eyes are a myth, while the just appointed captain of their house, Robert "Bobby" Nash chooses not to meddle in such silly things as the golden eyes. He believes that he is not deserving of finding true love, especially after what happend to him before he moved to Los Angeles. That all changes when he meets a certain police sergeant...

A tiny bit younger Bathena. Athena has always been told by her doctor that she will have her menopause around the age of thirty, as literally every woman in her family has had this issue. It's why they all became moms at a young age. After having menopause symptoms for a good three years, Athena goes to work feeling a bit under the weather. When she eventually collapses at work, her captain Elaine has her send to the hospital. Both Athena and later her husband Bobby as well are in for the surprise of a lifetime...

Evolution is a scary thing. Acts of mother nature make sure that different kinds of evolution take place in nature. One day, people wake up with all kinds of powers. How will Bobby and Athena adjust to this different kind of life?

On a normal day on the job, Athena and two rookie officers find themselves on a crimescene of a man whose house seems to have turned in some kind of lab. Upon entering the lab, one of the rookie officers doesn't watch what he is doing and gets white powder blown straight into his face. When dispatch calls through that the dead suspect worked for a criminal group specialized in weaponizing deadly diseases, Athena and the two rookies are placed into immediate isolation. Not long after the start of isolation, one of the two rookies dies with horrible symptoms. That is the moment Athena truly knows that she has something to fear.

hahahahha afml you wanna be on an episode of "guess who's an idiot?" So I'm going to work on a summer camp in the US and my agency told me to staple gun my work permit into my passport, as without the permit, my visa is invalid. Guess who put the staple through the visa page? Yes, me. Its through my shoulder in the picture and a part without nothing do, but I swear, the anxiety attack...

Then the question remains: is the department pissed on the cast, is the cast acting as asses resulting in the department being a bitch, or is this a network thing?

For a topic outside of the shipping war going on anyone else felt the hair and wardrobe for this season of 911 have been meh to awful? I understand shorten season/new network but still. Over half of the outfits seem too big/the fit is off and some weird fabric patterns/color choices. And the hair styles…..I have no idea what the cast did to that department but there seems to be vendetta going on there against everyone but Maddie/Karen. Just curious for other fans opinions.
