Helloooo, I was supposed to be worked on the last Watcher design but I got distracted with this :D.

This is Ry, an old Hazbin oc that I’ve redesigned and converted into a personal oc. They now live in the world of Vistosa. During the day they work at a club as a waiter, but at night they become a ruthless assassin. They work for anyone willing to pay for their services.

That is, until they’re hired by a cold hearted mafia boss, who’s so impressed by their skill that he hires them permanently as his personal hit man.

I’m always open for oc questions!

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.

By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.

I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?

Hello! Very very happy today!

I finally finished my redesign for Fate (old design below)! I mostly needed to change their color palette. Rather than being mostly black and white with grey accents, I changed it to two shades of grey with black and white accents, also gave them grey hair and some new spiderweb lashes uwu. I also changed around their outfit a bit.

Heyo! Happy to share another brand new Watcher!

This is Octavius Ottomen, Watcher of the Pink Realm and Ruler of the Octofolk species. He’s a bit of a nervous and anxious guy, despite being a Watcher he tends to keep to himself in his Realm. His kingdom is deep in the dark abyss of his pink oceans, where fantastical creatures live in the darkness.

This boi got two variations, the first one of for the day/in the light and the second is for when he’s deep under the water or when it’s night. The darkness turns his white spots yellow, making him into a strawberry banana smoothie uwu.

Hello! Very happy to share another Watcher!

This is Vermillion Ember, Watcher of the Red Realm, King of Demons. He mostly spends his time on tour, he’s a sorta pop star that prefers performing over his Watcher work. I have him two different eye colors, the lighter ones are his regulars eyes, the darker ones (below) are for when he’s angry or just for intimidation.
