hi everyone! If you've been following me for a bit, then you might know the reason why I even made this blog was to share a masterpost I had put together compiling all the genshin cc I could find at the time. Then made an updated version since the older one didn't save my newer updates and became outdated quickly...

so, why a third version? unfortunately, now Tumblr has a limit to the amount of links a post can have. heh. but I wasn't going to give up on making masterlists, maybe if it were just for nostalgia's sake, so I remade it as a google doc instead!

yes, I will now stop wasting your time here and I'll redirect you to the brand new masterlist where all the instructions and little details are better explained

🎈🎉 Meeting on the Circus Ground

As you finally reach your destination, you have a visitor to come and greet you. Let's see what happens~

I had the pleasure of writing a piece for Jihyun Kim/V from Mystic Messenger for the @mysme-rbb! I was paired with the amazingly talented @mintcactusposts who drew a darling piece that inspired this fic! See the art here!

I hope my partner enjoys the story as much as I enjoyed writing it~ and I hope those who stumbled upon this piece enjoy it to.

And thank you to those that organized the Reverse Big Bang! It was such a fun project to participate in!

He had used to dread when night fell. His apartment was too quiet -- his thoughts much too loud; and he was incapable of doing much else but allow his thoughts to swirl in his head to remind himself of all he had done wrong. and the only ways he knew how to cope being his only defense against the thoughts. His only defense against himself.

The night had reminded him of a certain darkness that he had associated with his (now ex) girlfriend and it could drown out the light -- his love -- and, once upon a time, he'd been determined to make sure that that would never happen. Had told himself, and her, that the light being extinguished just wasn't a possibility. That the light would shine upon her much like the sun even if he wasn't there to shine it for her. That the light would be there long after he was gone.

Perhaps, back then, he hadn't considered the moon and its glow and how it, too, could light the way for lost wanderers and lonely travelers. Perhaps he had been lost within the sun's rays and the sun's light to consider the illumination of the moon's soft glow that could -- and eventually would -- guide him on a path that he'd never seen before

until you came along.

With your support, your faith and belief in him, and with your love, you had made it so Jihyun could, in turn, support, have faith and belief, and find love within himself. And with time and patience, you both had navigated your growth as individuals and as a couple --

some thing that could have never occurred had he continued to be under the bright rays of a sun like love.

As mint-colored eyes take in the form of his beloved sleeping beside him, his lips curve into a fond, gentle smile.

How beautiful and ethereal you looked in the gentle glow of the moonlight as you slept. The warmth of your body next to his was enough to keep him warm on even the chilliest of nights even if you insisted on having multiple blankets on the bed. The occasional drool spot upon your pillow or even on his shirt as you lay against him while you rested. . .

Jihyun chuckles softly under his breath as he thinks of your morning bedhead, your half-opened eyes, and the way you wish him a "good morning" in a voice still laced with tiredness.

He'd grown to love the day time, as it meant he'd have more time to spend with you. To hear you speak. To hear you laugh. To have you be near him.

He would not trade any of your time together for the world -- would even go through the trials and tribulations he had been through before if it had meant that the route and outcome would lead him to you once again. Though he knew you would much rather would have preferred if life led the two of you together to begin with, but life had much different plans for the two of you.

But it had led you both here, today.

And what had once plagued him was now replaced with you and all of your being.

And, truth be told, he could not wait until the right day came for him to be able to officially make it so the rest of the days and nights belong to the two of you.

Settling into a comfortable position, where he held you in his arms -- the two of you facing one another -- he closed his eyes

thinking about a box that he had hidden away.

He was ready, he knew that for sure. To take the next step in your relationship. It was something he didn't second guess himself on. A big step for him, he felt - and a big step within your relationship together.

As his breath began to slow down to a restful state, and as he began to fall asleep on your arms, he couldn't help but to keep a soft smile on his face, as the thought of his future with him by his side comforted him to sleep.

He looked forward to when the sun would brighten up the sky, signaling the change from night to day. . . he looked forward to waking up with you in his arms

and he looked forward to tomorrow's evening, where he hoped that he'd have the opportunity to hear you say, "Yes." as he'd look up at you while down on one knee after expressing his love and his adoration for you -- and just how much stronger of a person he is because of your patience, your faith, and your unwavering love.

"Good night, my love." He says sleepily. Knowing full well you've been asleep for a while. He thinks he hears a sigh in response.

Soon after, he drifts off to sleep as well.

Calmly. Peacefully. Lovingly. With balance in both the day and night.
