Photoshoot mood board

I chose to do a more ethereal style photoshoot as I felt that it correlates to my chosen topic. I wanted the makeup to be very simple but effective which is why I did eye makeup using white liner to make myself look like I wasn’t from earth.

My customer is a company which is NASA for their new production of showing fashion lines to inspire more people to be interested in space and everything in the Beyond. They were looking for garments that really showed the highlights of space and everything linking to it hand in had

METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION

- cut out pattern pieces and follow instructions

- Adhere interfacing to facings

- Stitch front to side front x2

- Sew one centre meter

- Overlock seams

- Press seams to side seams x2

- Attach side back to back x2

- Overlock seams

- Press seams to side seams

- Adhere middle back to side back x2

- Overlock all seams

- sew elastic to sleeve x4

- sew sleeve front facing each other

- ruffle top of sleeve till interfacing matches

- Sew interfacing to sleeve

- attach sleeve to shirt using a strip of ribbon

- sew moon pieces together leaving gap

Sew 1 cm

- stuff moon

- attach moon to shirt

- sew velcro to shirt at back
