The soft shoulder
Diving deep in to the different tailoring styles. Did you know that there exist big traditional differences between Naples, Milano, Florence and Rome?
On this journey we visited different tailors and even more stylistas that had their own opinion on the Italian menswear culture. Posing in front of the camera is Lino Leluzzi, Simone Righi, Luca Rubinacci and Andrea Luparelli. The story ended up as a 11 pages long cover story for the Norwegian financial weekend supplement D2. Text by me, and photography by Simon Skreddernes.

The outsiders
Every month I write a “Petit” for the norwegian paper Natt & Dag. A petit is something between an essay and chronicle I guess?
Noticed how fashion weeks have become a pure sircus for amature bloggers eating off their own prey? This is a text on how the bloggers have lost their innocence, having created a whole new game outside the fashion show - whom used to belong to Bill Cunningham. Send an email to

What you see, is what you get.
In my monhtly "petit" in Natt & Dag magazine, I wrote about fashion and politics, and how fashion never seem to be important to some people as it is not political or telling an important story. I totally disagree! Reminiscing back to the nineties when sportswear and workwear told stories about the misunderstood youth, social differences and played an important signifier on who you were and where you came from.
The story was inconveniently to be published right after the tragic events of 22/07, and therefore the picture above did not publish at all. Styling and text by me, photos by Kjell Ruben Strøm.
