Requests

Since I am starting to receive inquiries about requests, maybe I should establish my status on taking requests. Currently, I have a request backlog, so I won't be taking new requests until the backlog is complete. The requests that I've still yet to color are:

※Baby Lance laying on his back reaching for a mobile (animated request that I have not figured out how to do yet)

※ Baby Lance and Baby Eugene hugging

※ Baby Lance learning how to walk

※Rapunzel and friends rescuing Varian from the King's and Nigel's violent torture (Kind of sketched) Then I've got two requests for my main blog.

I cannot promise a timeline of any kind because I am rather inattentive and am mostly focused on studying Chinese and Spanish. I will say that I won't take new requests unless I am actively interested in it and I will tell you that I am not especially interested in drawing babies. I just took these requests because I didn't mind drawing them and they were made during a time I had nothing better to do. Aside from yaoi and yuri ships, I am also interested in horror art, so I will be more likely to say yes to those. Also, I am interested in LancexEugene because I just noticed that there's a grand total of one picture of it online and I wanna see more of it. My ability to draw muscular guys like Lance is limited, but I will try.

Drat, I cannot tag the Anon who asked me for this. It was the requester who asked me for pictures of Tall Varian.

Even if I cannot locate the original requester, I wouldn't call it a loss. I like drawing Eugerian anyways. Even if it means putting off work that I should be doing.

Another request for @colinthecartoonist

I like the way Adira came out even if I am now questioning the choice of clothes that I have given her. Her parents need to buy her lighter clothing so she can play indoors without running the risk of overheating. Somehow I keep failing to notice safety hazards until shortly before I post and it drives me crazy.

I think I might color one of the sketches I posted here so they're not sitting around uncolored. I wanna see them colored, so I might work on one of those next.

Still, these baby requests at least benefit me for giving me simple subjects I can use for coloring experiments. If I remember correctly, my next request shouldn't have any safety hazards.

Drawn mostly by me, but the wallpaper was a premade texture from Clip Studio Paint. What can I say? I never know what to do with backgrounds. But at least the background came out cute.

Also, I drew this picture after seeing the baby Cassandra episode, so I drew baby Cassandra with long hair this time.

Now to spend an additional thousand years studying Chinese.

Tall strong Varian does not exist

I never argued that he did. I drew tall, strong Varian because I didn't mind making him exist and I liked the designs sent to me. Whether I or someone else comes up with an idea, I will draw it if I like it.

If I find the time to draw, I can draw Varian more often like this. I will be very busy for at least two weeks, so maybe I can draw on the third weekend or so.

Actually, I wanna color that picture at some point, so that'll probably be the first thing I do.

April 2, 2024 Edit: I wasn't lying when I said I was going to color it. I was going to scan the thing, but I didn't want to tear from my tiny notebook to do it. Instead, I simply used the camera picture as my base. Might color this in May or when I need a break from research. Whichever happens first.

And I guess Stage 2 happened first.

Eugene would totally call Varian "Studmuffin" and "Beefcake" because he's both sweet as pie and an 8 foot piece of muscle.

After seeing this comment, I decided to just give in to the urge to sketch some Eugerian ideas among the tall Varian pictures. I wanna draw it in a bigger sketchbook. I had fun drawing tall Varian though. ☺️ I'm gonna sketch some more because I can't sleep.

If you draw Varigo, could you please maybe make it look like this?

Sure, but I will tell you that I won't make the pants so tight. Varian with long hair is okay though. And I also assume that you would want Hugo to wear his usual clothes, yes? I don't mind the outfit though. I just don't know who the two characters are, but I do agree that the one on the left looks a lot like Varian. It might be a bit because there are some other pictures that I want to color first.

Just imagine Varian as so tall and muscular that his arms and legs are thicker than Eugene's torso.

Unfortunately, I don't think that I can get that to look right. However, I did enjoy drawing tall Varian, so I thank you for the ideas and the references. I'll be drawing tall Varian more often 😊

Should you ever draw Varigo content, please let Varian be taller than Hugo.

I'll keep that in mind, but so far, nobody's asked me to draw that, so it never crossed my mind to draw it.

Are there any other Varian ships you like?

With anyone else in the show, no. But I did get into Camilo (Encanto) xVarian because of Character.Ai. There were also Jack Frost x Varian, Hiccup x Varian, and HugoxVarian pictures that I found to be adorable. As far as actively shipping, I only ship him with Eugene mostly because I found it hard to find pictures of them when I first started shipping them.

I love these pictures! I'll mainly use the second and third picture to design adult Varian because they're my favorite among these. In terms of clothing, I might use the last design because I feel this is something Varian would most likely wear while he's working. Thanks for the pictures! 😊

Please tell me you don't ship Varian with Eugene while Varian is still 14.

I prefer that they're both adults, so I do try to give Varian more adult proportions when I'm shipping them.

I just love the concept of Varian being a literal giant as an adult, at least one-and-a-half feet taller than Eugene.

Maybe you could make his face all cute and sweet, but for his body, well, could you maybe make him brawny, burly and beefy?

That does sound cute, now that I have something to work with, I can sketch it out on the weekend. ☺️

Though I will have to use references cuz I don't have much experience drawing beefy guys.

Yes, and I apologize for having you wait so long. I've been trying to decide what kind of adult facial features I would like to give to Varian so that his features fit his new height. I'd like to make him look like an adult, yet still have him be cute.
