Do you have any tips on how you do shading?? Your art is amazing!!!

Thank you! I’m glad you like it! For shading I use a mid tone pink/purple color on multiply set to about 72% opacity. For the skin I also direct paint on a layer above my flats to bring out highlights and make the face pop. I also use a hard airbrush to paint and a soft airbrush eraser to soften some of my edges. What were William and Henry like when they were younger (like when they first opened Fredbear’s)?

My impression of Henry and William relationship was business first, friendship second.

In my theory, Henry was always the brain and very analytical when it came to creating the animatronics and the mechanisms within. In his doctorate in college, he researched into creating vessels that could contain souls and “to rescue humanity from its decaying state,” but he was more concerned with getting the technology to work. However, this made most relationships strenuous and he was not known for is social skills. William, on the other hand, was the face of their company, charismatic, extroverted and all about showmanship. He also is very insecure about death, and I believe he lost a lot of people he loved growing up and was probably abused by the ones left. William is also more entrepreneurial oriented and focused on success. He found Henry’s work fascinating and was determined to see it succeed later to the point of obsession and through their friendship gained a working knowledge of robotic engineering.

The foundation of their friend was based on their business because they both need each other to succeed. Henry needed William to support his research and hide it due to the fear of “unopened minded people,” and William wanted to further Henry’s endeavors and support his growing family. Fazbear Family Diner, allowed both of them to fulfill their wants. Together they built a robotics lab for Henry to build and experiment with creating vessels while William masqueraded them as characters for his family diner and using a portion of the money to further Henry’s innovations.

Through the business their relationship, their friendship began to flourish, and Charlie was often seen hanging out with the Afton kids. One thing Henry lack was a strong marriage due to his constant researching which caused his wife to leave a few years after Charlie was born. William was very family oriented and in a way possessive over them, afraid to lose them like so many in his childhood. Through there similar goals they were even able to expand the Fazbear diner into the franchise chain.

In my theory at least, this all falls apart when Henry stops the research in order to focus more on Charlie. William is angry at this and finds that Henry has created a prototype remnant capturing device which he secretly puts in Baby. William rationalized that if he can capture a soul successfully then the person not technically dead and he could reinvigorate Henry on the project. This, of course, backfires when the victim is Elizabeth, and the relationship deteriorates from there, along with William’s life in particular.

What do you think of matpat's timeline on fnaf (the game theorist)?

I love matpat’s theories but I honestly think there is one definite timeline. As matpat even admitted in his Fnaf box theory, Scott has rewritten the Fnaf plot so many times that it has resulted in inconsistencies throughout every timeline theory. I truly think there is no one perfect timeline as it currently stands. 

That being said I think matpat’s final theory has a lot of evidence for what he presents. However, if this theory is, in fact, Scott’s intended narrative, I was left dissatisfied. I felt the final theory presented narrative ideas that were introduced at the last second and did not provide as many interesting character motivations as previous theories had. It was like getting to the end of a detective novel and having the murderer be some random joe off the street ( I felt like the Cassidy is a little girl/golden freddy theory and Mike was always a robot was this for me). 

My personal timeline is in fact based on a matpat timeline from October 2017 called “Fnaf the FINAL theory” which was the video that got me into Fnaf in the first place. I have a lot of respect for matpat and I continue to watch his video to this day but I don’t think we’ll ever get a canon timeline until the movie comes out.

Hey, do you think Ultimate Custom Night's protagonist is William or Michael Afton, or soe.one else entirely?

I definitely think that William is the protagonist of Ultimate Custom Night. 

It makes sense from a lore stand point that the spirit in Golden Freddy would want to get revenge on his/her murder and there are a ton of animatronics with voice lines that would suggest some sort of creator or William related lore including Marionette, Nightmare Freddy, Nightmare Fredbear, Nightmare, Nightmarionne, Ballora,and Pigpatch. 

I also don’t think it would be unreasonable for Golden Freddy to create versions of Springtrap and Scraptrap to make William suffer the terror that other experienced from he while he embodied those suits. This is possible on the theory that UCN is a simulation created by Golden Freddy that he/she has trapped William’s remnant in and can manifest any one of his creations to torment him for eternity.
