It may look like they don't get along, but I beg to differ. They like each other, but they don't know that. That's why they're never in the same page. Fools.

you're not stuck. it's not over. you can claw yourself out again and again. find strength in yourself. find strength in others whom you can trust. the fight isn't over until you're dead.

Was watching this video on ig as u do when u mindlessly scroll n this lady said it’s good to make space for every side of u . That means the mean side. The sensitive side. The happy side. The sad side. And she said u should create a universe for all these things. While multidimensionality comes part and parcel w being human - there’s often shame attached to some identities. For example, being sensitive in a world that encourages u to be emotionless may be seen as weakness. But creating a universe where ur allowed to channel that bit of u freely is always going to be more empowering. More and more I realise things make more sense 2 me when I can visualise it. For example, my therapist was trying to explain my sad feelings / grief as a blueberry . Last session she asked me “how big is your blueberry?”. That approach is far more helpful to me. It’s nice to know how my brain works and to work with it rather than against it.
