ok so i watched challengers and i loved it omg. tho bc this is tennisblr i feel like i should clarify that even tho there’s a lot of tennis in the movie, it’s not a tennis movie. i also didn’t pay attention to the actual technique of the characters playing tennis 🤷‍♀️ i think my new love for this movie was also aided by the fact that i am attracted to all three of them 🧍‍♀️

but yeah i could see ppl being disappointed if they wanted a tennis movie, but even tennis aside it was a great movie (i’m seeing it again so there’s that)

i loved:

the cinematography

the score (done by the same guys that did the social network, which is another movie + score that i love)

the characters (i love morally ambiguous characters)

the product placement (it goes crazy but honestly is true to actual tennis, and didn’t take me out of the movie)
