From the aroubd 1770, these black dot paste earrings are in a style that is quite coveted by collectors, and often referred to as 'Queen Anne earrings' (although they were made in the last third of the 18th century聽while Queen Anne died in 1814). They are not easy to come by as an intact pair, but you often see one remaining 'earring' of this model which has been converted into a brooch when its other half has been lost lost. This pair is uncommonly large and very elegant, with a wonderful sparkle. And they still have their original back-to-front fittings. A paste collectors dream.聽

An idea on how to wear antique buckles - on a scarf in your hair. I love old buckles and frequently wear them, often in my hair or on the cuff of my sleeve, a little depending on how they are constructed.
The combination of coral 馃 and turquoise 馃┑ is another favourite, combined they truly pop, in a soft organic way. My jewellery worn here are both from the Victorian era, to be a little more specific the last third of the 19th century. The buckle was initially used for a wide belt. It will be coming to the shop. The earrings are already sold.

A very special serpent ring. Not only is it quite old - about 300 years - but it has an extraordinarily long body. The scaled body is coiled into an eternity symbo, or a love knot, right on top of the finger, with his little tail hanging out to the side. A pointy old cut diamond crowns his head, and he carefully carries a pearl egg in his mouth. This antique gold snake is further set with one ruby, one emerald and one sapphire. A wonderful symbol, through history it has amongst other things been believed to stand for eternal love, an unbreakable bond, parental love and wisdom.

On Tuesdays we wear turquoise, and this season preferably a thick jumper too 馃ザ!
The ring I am wearing today is from the last third of the 19th century, with a bright turquoise cabochon in the center encircled by a dainty halo of sparkly rose cut diamonds. Its a ring I could imagine a forest fairy wearing - it really pops against greenery and the tiny diamonds reminds me of glittering dewdrops. To add to the ring's sweetness, it has an old engraving inside, it was gifted to a girl named Elsa.

Roaring Twenties - dripping with rubies and diamonds. This chandelier-shaped pendant, which is quite as decadent as the era it hails from, is modelled in 14-carat yellow gold and silver with millegrain borders. It boasts approximately 5.50 ctw of old-cut diamonds, with additional rose-cut diamond accents; and finally, 7 round, faceted rubies, likely Burmese, 2.5 ctw.

Here we have something so rare and beautiful as a large renaissance cameo, set into a 19th century ring. This kind of motif is called a 'marriage portrait', and these cameos became popular during the 15th century - looking back to even older cameos featuring mythological couples or Roman rulers Renaissance rulers in their turn would have themselves depicted side by side, in the likeness of a Roman Emperor and Empress While we do not know who the couple on this cameo are, the symbol of their union has survived for 400 - 500 years.
How wonderful isn't that?

Coiled up in the snowy moss are two golden Victorian era serpents. They adorn a pair of very wearable earrings in 14 carat gold, with green paste gems and Etruscan style ropework details. Each serpent forms an airy little knot almost in the shape of an 8, a symbol of eternity which makes perfect sense as snakes symbolised eternal love to the Victorians. Lightweight and comfortable to wear, they once most likely had back-to-front findings now with newer latch-back (or russian) closures, making them sit very safely on the earlobe.
I love how they turn their heads towards each other, creating a beautiful frame for your face as you wear them.

Cold and beautiful in Stockholm today!
Look how blue the aquamarine looks in the January light!
I have struggled to capture the true beauty of the two gems in this stunning moi-et-toi ring (blame the lack of sunlight in winter!) but today timing and sunshine finally cooperated, and just look at how absolutely gorgeous both the earthy warm heliodor and the celestial and icy aquamarine looks? The ring itself is modelled in platinum, and has diamonds on the shoulders that adds a bit of extra sparkle. Such a wonderful ring, and it's one of those you always reach for when you open your jewellery box, because it is so easy to wear.
Available, and listed in the shop. Please follow the link!

Creamy white, a touch of magenta and metallic grey. This fine necklace combines soft and feminine features with steely sparkles and striking colour in a perfect balance. It's quite marvellous how it has survived almost 200 years and still manages to look as amazing as it does. Because it does look quite amazing with its royal purple amethysts matched up with glistering cut steel and the silky sheen of delicate man-made pearls. Pretty enough to make any February baby or purple lover very happy. Please message me for details.

Harlequin jewellery were popular in the Georgian and Victorian eras. The name was used for colourful pieces set with gems in an array of different colours making for playful and fun jewellery. Like this pretty Georgian era brooch, set with sapphires, emeralds, amethysts garnets, pastes, chrysoberyl and a conch pearl. Luxorious and cheerful at the same time.

A delightful bracelet with fine filigree and pale honey colored citrines, made in Florence in the 1930s - 40s.
This piece is light and delicate, the citrines are a beautiful, light colour and the filigree work is beautiful in its detail. The clasp is integrated and cleverly hidden under one of the silver flowers.

Perfectly finger-hugging dream of pearl and diamond ring. The curved ringhead follows the shape of your finger, covering it with luxorious natural pearls and over 1,50 carats of chunky old mine cut diamonds. There is even one diamond accentuating each shoulder.
I love the all-white look, the sheen or the pearls that makes the perfect contrast to the sparkle of the diamonds and the low profile of this ring.
Available for purchase, please message for further details.

Substantial and sparkly, this paste star from the Georgian era is a very wearable statement piece. At a generous size of 53 mm across, it stands out against any background. It can be worn on your blouse, lapel or even in your hair. Perfect for any occasion, with a timeless design. Who's believe it is over 200 years old?
Made from silver and paste in the late 18th century or the very first years of the 19th, with a silver pin and clasp added in the Victorian era. In very good condition for its age, most foils are still very bright for their age.
