what was the timeline order in BMAH? like, it would be Eggpire followed by Las Nevadas and ending with The Finale? or would have at least a little more planned

something like that, yes, but i never got around to planning it fully. but yes, i somewhat wanted to follow a 3-act structure - eggpire in act 1, las nevadas in act 2, and dream breaking out + my own take on the finale in act 3. obviously other smaller plotlines would be dotted in-between, like wilbur's revival and the introduction of new characters and what not

You said about Phil dying during the last fight but would he be revived after Dream defeat or appears as ghost-self (and while talking about ghosts, what was the plans for Ranboo and Boo lore)

he was going to die in the final fight against dream and the final chapter would include a scene of him reuniting with kristin in the void. that'd be his last appearance in the story.

would you have changed the way that the revival book was showed or how it works, or it was pretty much the same with Schlatt finding and giving players the undefined canon lives

the revive book was already canonized in bdam. in the same vein, i already stated canon lives were not a thing. everyone had one life and thats it.

Would all Tales From DreamSMP appear in the retelling or just be the The Town That Never Was, The Village That Went Mad and The Beach Episode?

Also, would the Space Race Tale be included like an original history or wouldn't be added since it was never published?

the idea was to adapt pretty much all of them, yeah! i always liked them so i never had much of a problem with doing that

if you're asking if i'm okay with people taking the story and continuing it, then no. i want the story to be left where i left it.

if you want to take elements of it and put it in your own work, i guess that could be okay, but please make sure to credit me properly. but i would rather if you didn't, since i don't want the story to be continued past where i left it off, as i said.

Did you show us all the characters you had or did you have a few more to introduce? If so, which ones?

i was gonna re-introduce charlie, and since i had to adjust him to his character in las nevadas, the plan was to reveal he has been trapped in the nether for a very, very long time and eventually his hybrid trait completely took over him, making him into that slime guy quackity met. obvi once people who knew him in smplive saw him there'd be a little bit of angst here and there. i never eventually decided if i would have the effect of this be reversed in some way, but probably. as i said, i wanted happy endings for all.

also, i was gonna introduce hannah and foolish. hannah was going to be a forest nymph of some sort, and i was gonna come up with some new lore surrounding that. foolish already appeared in puffy's story in bhav, so he would simply return after calming the seas and fulfilling his duties as a god and would be reunited with her!

what would be the developing of the Eggpire arc?

i never got a chance to fully plan it, but i wanted to just,,, clean it up i suppose??? it was a little messy at times and events were weirdly spaced out + it didnt always feel like a server-wide threat because of how spread-out and self-contained it was, so i'd make sure the vines and corruption and all that actually affected EVERYONE

Is there any way you can return with the story? Even though it's a retelling, the feeling when I read everything is that you can understand what your own story is like and with your own characters that you put a lot of effort into

I would fully support if you did the story with original characters or changing names but still using DreamSMP and others as a base or template

no, im sorry. as i said i dont feel comfortable continuing this story in any form with all of the bad shit attatched to it now. id like to just leave it where i did and sort of let it exist with all the good and leave it untainted. going back and rewriting around everything that now has bad connotations would be so much work and would just ruin what bdam was at its core.

what was planned for the Fundy arc in the story?

the biggest change was having him serve as tubbo's vice and then be replaced with tommy when he came back, and dealing with how obviously shitty that made him feel. the third book + revivedbur was gonna have him sort of work out his issues with wilbur and move on happily. really i just wanted to give everyone a happy ending haha

again, i never got a chance to plan that out in full, so i genuienly dont fully know outside of what i mentioned in the final note. id wanna focus on him healing from everything tho, and getting to move on

las nevadas is one of the storylines i wasnt gonna change at all! i think what quackity did was really cool and unique so i didnt wanna mess with it too much

hi, did you have a timeline for when everything would start in Between Misery And Hope? like the point where the story starts and what would happen in the middle?

not really. i never got the chance to get to the planning stage with it properly, but there would probably be a somewhat significant timeskip from the second book (6 months - year roughly) and it would pick up around the time that the latter stage of the eggpire plotline took place. the vines starting to spread, people being infected, etc etc. that would take up the first 1/3 of the story and then it would go into dream breaking out and las nevadas + revivedbur would run parallel to that. i wanted to change a lot about the plot i didnt like but since i never got to the planning stage i didnt really give it much thought so i cant say much more than that, sorry !

How did Eret know that Ted fell into lava in the Nether? Did Eret live in Live? Did Wilbur or Schlatt never meet him? I am slightly confused about this.

i imagine it's more like the story got passed around in smpearth, or even on their walk to dsmp, and eret would have overheard it then. people remembered past worlds slowly in earth as well, like the captain and kara did in the journals spin off if you've read that. it's just not something that's ever said super directly, but it's definitely implied - towards the "ends" of most worlds, people would usually start slowly remembering past lives, or at least glimpses of them

it's not something eret would know off the top of their head, but because they got cornered by schlatt in that one scene the memory kind of rushed forward and jumped out before their mind could even catch up. i imagine connor might have told them about him - we know from a flashback in the sequel that the two of them met each other in the antarctic empire right before the hunters arrived. but also, no definite “how did eret find out” thing is canon, it’s just implications and background info
