Wearing new undies and new socks provide for me a joy on par with the way rockstars feel when they sell out stadiums. Even if the day is going to be full of trials, new undies and new socks make me feel like Marty Mcfly when he dons the future-clothes Doc procured for him. So imagine how taken aback I was by the @Hanes company decision to make the undies’ packaging resealable. It made me feel that all my interpretations were wrong, or at least not in the majority of the market research subset. While I live to wear fresh new undies, it seems the target market prefers to simply open their new bag of undies, possibly withdraw a single pair at a time, and then close and reseal the bag thereby locking in the freshness for another time. This post documents the conclusion of years of receiving socks and undies, tearing into them the way a dog does when left alone with potato chips, and then putting on the brightest color and running to the bathroom to pose like Superman. -Just looking back on some of the best little coffees I have had so far in 2018... That last one is a Soy Decaf Flat White and I remember it being the most pretentious of all of them. My wonderful friend @kathyvalera gave me some sauce. I didn’t know what to do with it. We discussed potatoes, chicken, and rice. Then we drank wine and it ended up in a cabinet. Today, in a moment of missing her, I did the following with this amazing Peruvian sauce: -Heated it up slowly and poured it over fried eggs with green onions. -Poured it over little purple boiled potatoes. -Mixed it in with GF pasta, turmeric, and white pepper. -Stirred it in with a half-full tub of sour cream and ate it methodically with chips while watching @comicbookmenamc in a bathrobe. The first known on screen appearance of Peter Quill occurred on April 14, 2011 in an episode of the hilarious documentary, Parks And Recreation, a semi absurdist recording of small government and the odd personalities we appoint to keep it all going. In this episode the part of Gamora was played by a young Aubrey Plaza, this is important because instead of being recast as Gamora in the feature film, Guardians Of The Galaxy, Plaza would go on to portray Lenny Busker in Legion, the probably true story of David Haller and his almost limitless powers of the mind.
