do you still have that image with the spritemode shinji next to a redesigned spritemode shinji? i feel a little bad asking since you seem to have gone through and cleared out a lot of your blog, but it's a really helpful one and i forgot to save it.

I still do! Actually, the post is still up, but maybe you missed it in my archive because it was actually an ask post. Feel free to review the text in there, but I'll also just repost all the images in this post too. Here they are.

Honestly, if I were to do this again today, it'd be even more different. That's the nature of art, though, it just keeps evolving and evolving. People still get something out of my even older posts about the style, and even though I think they're a little bad and outdated, they still help people.

I only really recently got into Gunpla and plamo from like a year ago, but now I really love it. This is a way older kit than the other ones I was building, but I loved doing it. It had no real color separation, so it relied on my paint job to look right, so I really feel like it's my own, there are no other scopedogs like this out there (especially because I had to mix all the paint myself, so the colors might be a little off compared to others!). It's not perfect, but it's mine, and I'm so proud of it.
