Like, The Nanny was an Infinitely better show than Friends, with a female MC who everyone looks down on but she doesn't give a shit, knows what she knows and knows what her limitations are, and is willing to learn new things while teaching people who think they Know Better the things she does know, allowing emotional growth for *all* the characters involved.

Haven't seen it since I was a kid so genuinely don't know if there's Sketchy Shit but all those old shows from the '80s and '90s had Sketchy Shit, even the ones that were, at the time, considered progressive.

I just don't know if a "Servant of a wealthy aristocrat goes on zany slice of life adventures while raising his kids with his butler and the antagonistic Girlboss who is pretending not to be in love with her coworkers sassy butler because he is 'beneath her' socially (while the boss and the Nanny do the same dance but more politely) end everyone is pretending to be oblivious to their feelings but We All Know" would go over in this generation of Eat The Rich.

Like, the butler and his bosses coworker story line, wed all eat that right TF up. But the rest of it idk.

came back wrong trope but the character knows that they came back wrong. they’re so acutely aware of how different they are now from how they were before that it drives them fucking insane. they’re stuck trying to return to somebody that’s long dead. they can never be the person they once were. everybody around them knows it. deep down, they know it too, but they’re trapped in a cycle of their own making. of trying to revive someone that no longer exists.
