I absolutely love your Heads in Beds fan fic! any idea how soon we can get the next chapter?
Your love for it is wonderful to see!
I’ve had a lot of changes happen in my life over the last year or two, like many of us, and I’ve been intending to continue the story for some time. I have had plans for the continuation for some time and do plan to.
I wish I could give you an ETA, but writing only works for me in certain moments. I’m hoping I can wrap up several of my stories this year, Heads in Beds among them.
Thanks again so much for your great message! I hope to see you in the comments on Ao3 when I am able to get the chapters out. <3

I know it’s not hard to point out reactionaries hypocrisy when it comes to like safe spaces or hug boxes or whatever but genuinely how much of an echo chamber do you have to exist in for you to think this is a reasonable thing to say

can we all agree that being overdressed is a myth made up by boring stuffy people who are too worried about other people’s lives and don’t want you to have fun

"the education system traumatizes students it deems stupid" and "the education system traumatizes students it deems gifted" are two concepts that can and should coexist.

Good morning! I’m salty.
I think we, as a general community, need to start taking this little moment more seriously.
This, right here? This is asking for consent. It’s a legal necessity, yes, but it is also you, the reader, actively consenting to see adult content; and in doing so, saying that you are of an age to see it, and that you’re emotionally capable of handling it.
You find the content you find behind this warning disgusting, horrifying, upsetting, triggering? You consented. You said you could handle it, and you were able to back out at any time. You take responsibility for yourself when you click through this, and so long as the creator used warnings and tags correctly, you bear full responsibility for its impact on you.
“Children are going to lie about their age” is probably true, but that’s the problem of them and the people who are responsible for them, not the people that they lie to.
If you’re not prepared to see adult content, created by and for adults, don’t fucking click through this. And if you do, for all that’s holy, don’t blame anyone else for it.

nsfw fanfiction of real people is weird but so is sfw fanfiction. the problem isnt just nsfw works but the entire idea of treating real people like fictional characters.

not to be a person of color on main but once again everybody who is white needs to consistently and continuously be conscious of how you treat and interact with other people of color. are you holding creators of color to higher standards than white creators? do you find yourself making excuses for your white friends when they’re being told an action they did had made a person of color uncomfortable? do you find your friends of color less approachable and more aggressive than your white friends? do you find yourself only listening to the opinions of people of color who are like you in other ways (trans, gay, ND, etc) or who validate your opinions on media, the most egregious being “my friend of color says it’s okay to like this”. It isn’t enough to try and default it to treating them just like they’re white, because there is a notable difference in said treatment and you are unable to recognize it if you do not check yourself on it without constantly being told.
ok and encouraged to reblog but if you’re white I want to your silence, including in the tags.

Whether or not an individual has ethical or sympathetic motivations for wanting an abortion really has no bearing on whether or not bodily autonomy is a right.
Like... y’all can (and do) drive yourselves mad fussing over situations in which someone might seek an abortion for reasons that are bigoted or offensive. You will accomplish nothing from this, because at the end of the day, “is bodily autonomy a right?” is a yes or no question. It either is or it is not. People either deserve access to abortion or they do not. We can’t pick and choose.
What we can do is try to eliminate stigmas, strengthen support systems, and reduce the societal and medical divisions that cause people to not want to carry to term.

Needs to be a term for a male character you’re like ambivalent on until you enage with the fandom and how they view the character and develop a rabid hatred towards him
