18. What they’d go to see a therapist about

hoo boy. well first of all (to be clear though i think it more or less goes without saying) left to his own devices, therapy is the last thing he'd ever resort to solve his problems. he'd only go if someone he really trusted and cared about encouraged him to. but even if he could be persuaded to go, he'd still be really frustrating to work with, at least at first. if the therapist asked him why he'd decided to come he'd probably say that such and such had said that he had such and such a problem, and the therapist would ask him what he thinks about that, and he'd probably just shrug.

supposing that the therapist could get past that reluctance to talk about himself (and the issue behind it, which is that he doesn't view himself as a person and therefore views his thoughts and feelings as unimportant), at some point he'd end up talking about his creation and the whole thing with him being forced into taking on this role he didn't want and how he had to change in order to fulfill that role. if all goes well he figures out that this is why he sees himself as some sort of tool/weapon rather than a person.

25. 3 things they’d want to take with them if they were dropped off in the middle of nowhere

default version of him that hasn't undergone much character development: probably just 3 different weapons (including or in addition to gae bulg - i figure their noble phantasms are probably accessible to them no matter what but) since he sees himself as a fighting machine and being in the middle of nowhere wouldn't necessarily do anything to change that

version of him that has had some character development and lets himself enjoy things and form bonds with others: an extra weapon (assuming he just has gae bulg no matter what) (probably like a sword or a knife that he can use for general cutting purposes), a pillow (he allows himself to be comfortable now when engaging in one of his favorite non-combat activities), and some item of some sort that reminds him of someone he cares for (because once he lets himself care for anyone at all he cares a lot)
