Dominik Mysterio turned heel on Rey at WWE Clash of the Castle, on the 3rd of September 2022. He first openly aligned with The Judgment Day the next night on RAW, so on the 4th of December 2022.

WWE 2K23 had its early release on the 14th of March 2022.

That is 191 days since Dominik turned heel. Just over 6 months.

So how the hell is his attire and entrance still pre-heel turn in the game?

I know WWE games are locked down before launch cause otherwise it'd be impossible to ever release them. There's always differences between the game and the real product. I can roll with that. Even when it comes to some of my favourites that I plan to use. Like Baron Corbin is still in the game as Happy Corbin, his old gimmick. Or Austin Theory is an old model that has just the goatee rather than his full beard and still has the phone selfie in his default entrances.

But 6 months? Come on now!

Curse my eternal overwhelming desire to write a Byler longfic where Will is a dancer having to teach Mike to dance.

I have all the knowledge of dance, and rhythm, of a walrus being violently tased so I have no idea how to write someone teaching someone else to dance, unfortunately.

But god the idea just will not leave me alone.

Why do I always come up with fic ideas that involve the characters having specialised knowledge that I do not possess?
