5. western pt. iii

if ya wanna know a little more about that legend

this is based on mon's little scenario

of farm life

also bc my brain wouldn't shut up and so i've decided to write it down in hopes that it will learn to CHILL AND LET IT GO

honestly this isn't necessary to read i just needed this out of my system ahahah

once upon a time

that little ghost town where Changkyun grew up in

used to be full of people and possibilities

the town had just opened and it was green everywhere

the lake was full of fish

and there were gold bits at the bottom which would often join the nets of the fishermen

the town was prospering and many rich folks from around were ready to invest for its development

however the town was still "under construction" so not a lot of businesses

let alone institutions were around

so one day, a little miss veronica decided to travel to this exciting and bustling little town

to open up a little school

to teach local children and educate them

so they would be ready when the town opened.

THESE CHILDREN WERE GOING TO BE THE FUTURE!!!

so miss veronica was settling in well

she liked the children (let's hope the children liked her back)

and the people in the town were generally nice

except the people in the upper class

aka the rich folks who throw in their money to build this town

which was nice of them but UGH THEY LACKED MANNERS

ESPECIALLY THE FAMILY WHO OWNED THE ENTIRE TOWN

THEY WERE THE RUDEST!!

and that family had an heir of course

and he was going to inherit the entire town and all the money once his father dies

yes

the son was the worst

let's call him.....

kris

i know

gross right

ok so

back to miss veronica and her happy little school bc

in front of her little happy school

there was a little stall

where a local farmer would sell his harvest

he sold things like uhm !!?!?!?

onions ?!?!

and potatoes

oH AND PEACHES

THE SWEETEST PEACHES IN ALL THE REGION

and little miss veronica liked the peaches

(and she really liked the farmer)

ok so everyday after classes

she would small talk with the (charming and super adorable) little farmer

and she would buy the peaches

and then go home and make

peach ... pies ?!?!?

peach... jam!!!

peacH JAM!!!

ok so one day

it rained a lot and miss veronica noticed that there was a leak in the roof of her happy little school

poor little mary lou was getting raindrops on her text book

and WE CAN'T HAVE THAT IN MISS VERONICA'S CLASS

and so after class that day she didn't go to buy peaches

she stayed in her little school to fix the roof herself

bC SHE'S A STRONG INDEPENDANT WOMAN WHO DOESN'T NEED ANYBODY TO HELP FIX HER PROBLEMS

...

but the farmer was a kind gentleman who saw what she was doing from across his stall

and so offered to help

bc let's be real... miss veronica wasn't good with tools

so he ended up fixing the roof instead, while she happily ate peaches and watched him work

that was a good day

and as a sign of appreciation of his hard work

she offered him a jar of sweet peach jam

(let's hope the farmer wasn't allergic to peaches)

which he gladly accepted considering the peaches were actually from his own harvest

oh hah.. hah.. hah...

anyways, to miss veronica's surprise he offered to fix the windows in the classrooms too since he noticed how difficult they were to close

if they could be closed at all

and they were heading towards the colder seasons soon

so iT WAS IMPORTANT THAT THEY COULD CLOSE

and so miss veronica happily accepted and promised to bake him an entire pie once he finished the task

and so from then on

after classes

the farmer would come by to fix the windows of her happy little school

while she kept him company and spoke about anything and everything

and life was good

until

kris walked in

.... yay?

bc he wanted to take her out on a date

why???

i dont know either

maybe he had heard about her peach jam that she had been sharing with everyone eXCEPT THE RICH

THEY COULD BUY A JAR!

and so kris asked if she wanted to go on a picnic with him

and try out his new motor boat (what ?!?! an engine on your boat so it can sail faster !?!? that's so cool!!!??! the future sounds LIT!!!) that his dad bought

along with the lake

i know. an entire lake !!?!? so extra

like... why did kris' dad even buy the lake?

"the gold!" kris replies, "all the gold bits. my dad is collecting them now and in years they'll be worth mILLIONSSS!!"

oh right

anyways miss veronica just smiled and said "no thanks" to his offer because....

she was busy and also didn't want to ew

and kris was like ?!??!?!

"ok but... im rich!"

she nodded, yes she knew that . but it wasn't a valid reason for why she should go on a picnic with him

"oK... BUT!" he says and steps closer making her feel a little uneasy bc he's so tall. how could he even fit in her little school?!?

"but no one ever says NO to me."

spoiled brat

i know

so she looks him straight in the eye and says...

"i believe that i just did."

and so he storms out all pissy bc he didn't get what he wanted

ok good bye mr. wu

so now it all goes downhill from here right

kudos to you if you're still reading this

so since kris basically owns the town

he's forbidden ANYONE TO COME TO CLASSES

saying that what miss veronica was teaching wasn't true and that she was uhm... i dk ?? crazy maybe?!?!

so basically everyone is convinced bc oh! kris has money! he must know whats up!

and so all the parents stopped their children from going to that school

and some even went as far as to vandalising the building

breaking the windows and the desks and the chairs

oH AND THE BLACK BOARD T T

and so her happy little school became an empty and broken one

and this made miss veronica very sad bc

this was everything she worked so hard for

and now it was reduced to nothing

and as she tried to clean up the classroom

she ended up crying instead

then she realized that she didn't have to clean up

what's the use?

the entire town hated her anyway

she could just leave this place and start over

just pack her bags and go

but then

the farmer showed up

shocked to see what had happened

and she just felt so guilty

all the work he did on the windows

was just destroyed in a matter of seconds

and all she could do was apologize

and she promised that she would still give him that pie

but instead of saying anything

he gently wiped away her tears, pulled her close to him

and she felt safe

like everything was going to be okay after all

and in the moment she looked at him

and leaned in to kiss him

to her relief he kissed back

and her heart felt so full she was going to lshgfKJHL

ok but i promised downhill from here

right

bc kris saw them

kissing in the classroom

and in a fit of anger he marched up to the local sherif

and pressed charges on the farmer

the next day

although miss veronica knew that her school was still a mess

she walked out of her house with a smile on her lips

that is until she saw...

her school

on fire

yup ok so kris and a few of his buddies decided to set the school on fire

bc why not

i told you that kris was terrible

so in tears yet again

veronica ran up to the local sheriff to report kris and his gross friends

FOR AN ACTUAL CRIME

VANDALISM RIGHT!?!

but the sheriff just laughed at her

also he smelled like whiskey

"are you drunk!??!" she asked horrified

"i always get drunk before a hanging..." he replied, obviously intoxicated

!??!?!? WHO'S GETTING HANGED BITCH ?!?!?

"that little farm boy of yours." he continued, still smug and still very drunk "i heard he kissed you last night."

"iT'S NOT AGAINST THE LAW!!" ASKDGLakjl-

"Well someone (cough cough we all know who) pressed charges last night (and paid a great deal of money for it to happen sooo).

"You're being punished." he had to add

"If that's how it is I'm the one who should be hanged." She insisted, close to tears yet again, "Because I kissed him first."

"You're not the one he pressed charges against." the sherif added, stepping closer, "But since you're so generous with your kisses, you should give me one too ."

AND FOR THAT COMMENT SHE SLAPPED HIM

YES SHE WAS PISSED

BUT ALSO SHE PANICKED

HOW COULD THE GUY IN CHARGE FOR LAW AND ORDER ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN

and then she ran out of there to warn the farmer

in hopes that he was still alright

she didn't know where to go

she didn't know where his stupid farm was

but she knew that he had a boat

a boat that he sailed on every day to get to their town

so she rushed over by the lake

hoping that he was there

aND HE WASSS OH THANK GOODNESS

AND SHE RAN UP TO HIM IN PANIC TELLING HIM TO GET AWAY FROM HERE AS FAST AS POSSIBLE

BUT HE WAS BEING REALLY STUBBORN AND DIDNT REALLY WANT TO LEAVE

BUT SHE WAS REALLY AKFGALkDA

AND SHE PRACTICALLY PUSHED HIM ON THAT BOAT AND TOLD HIM TO GO AND NOT COME BACK EVER

ofc it was hard to say good bye like that

for one she didn't want to say good bye to him at all

but if that's what it took

oh wait i can do more downhill actually

ok so as he's rowing away

as fast as he can

remember kris' stupid motor boat?

yes ok so kris gets on board that and manages to catch up

to him

mAKING VERONICA PANIC AGAIN AND LIKE SHE'S READY TO JUMP INTO THAT WATER AND SWIM OVER THERE BUT

then she hears a gunshot

she sees the farmer topple over

and into the lake

legend says that it hasn't rained a single drop since that day

who was really being punished here then?

a few days later

little miss veronica marched into the sheriffs office

wearing a red dress and a lipstick to match

at first he barely recognizes her and is a little confused to see her

"you stil want that kiss, sheriff?" she asked

walking over to him

planting a kiss on his cheek

before shooting him in the head

because if her kisses brought death, she might as well give it to the ones who deserved it

she's been called many names since then

but the one that stuck was Blood Red Ronnie

for she would kiss her victims with the reddest lipstick

before shooting them

and robbing them off their fortune

the only one who's managed to survive her robberies

was kris

but that's bc she still refused to kiss him after all these years

and she would much rather have him poor and desperate for his money than dead

in fact years later, he managed to finally catch up with her

he found her sitting in the middle of the current dried up lake

where her dear farmer had died years back

kris was aiming his rifle at her

demanding her that she tell him where she hid

his father's gold

the gold from the bottom of the lake

which was already now worth miLLIONSSSS

she just laughed at him

"you and your children will dig for the next fifty years. but you will never find it."

and then a dessert snake appeared, one of those colorful but venomous ones

and kris started aiming at the snake instead because it was gross and dangerous and ew

but veronica calmly reached out for it and let it bite her

she then looked at kris and said: "start digging."

5. western pt. ii

yaaaay a little backstoryyy

uGH GET THIS AU OVER WITH ALREADY

i don't know what to write T T

Yoongi:

is always on the run

unlike Changkyun who's still able to lay low due to his anonymity

people know Yoongi's name and what he looks like

or at least according to his posters

they aren't always accurate

however Yoongi's fine

bc he's got his trusted sidekick / bodyguard with him at all times

right Em?

and she's a skilled marksman too, and carries a rifle with her bc she's badass like that

she's his assassin and most trusted partner

however Outlaw!Yoongi is greedy

robbing people isn't enough

nOPE

he straight up does heists

and robs banks!

he's even visited some of those rich tycoon's houses to rob right out of their safe

so when he hears of Blood Red Ronnie's buried treasure in some nearby ghost town

his eyes start to sparkle and he drags Em there with him

on the way however, they bump into Mon who's a dynamite/bomb expert

at first Yoongi doesn't want her to join them

but Em insists that it's only a plus if she joins

"say the treasure is buried in some mine or cave? wouldn't it be easier to get to it by blowing up the entire place??"

good point, yet again Em

honestly Em is mostly the brains in every operation Yoongi initiates

he would've been dead a long time ago if she weren't by his side

and he's grateful for her

it's just...

he's terrible at showing that at times

for instance, after another victorious robbery at some town's bank, a successful escape and another million dollars on their hands...

instead of pointing out all the cool things Em did and thank her for it, like uhmm... idk?? maybe save his life the thousandth time today, all yoongi will do is:

"uhmm.. good job!" - insert Yoongi awkwardly patting Em on the shoulder - "keep it up."

in time he'll learn i hope

anYWAYS

so Mon joins their little team and they finally arrive in the ghost town

except, it isn't entirely a ghost town yet

people are still living there, doing their best to survive

and they even have their own local thief

"that's cute." Yoongi coos at a poster that's basically advertising for an anonymous guy

was there no sheriff in town to solve the case?

"Alright," Yoongi says in boss mode, "I want both of you to gather as much information as you can on Ronnie's hidden treasure!" The last thing he heard was that it was worth 80 million and that was enough for Yoongi to buy his own town! heck he could buy THREE TOWNS!

Em however wasn't really liking this lifestyle anymore and was ready to settle. Besides they had robbed so much already, they could live well off for the rest of their lives..

But as mentioned before, Yoongi was greedy BUT... He promised her that this was going to be the last time.

"Promise?" She repeats, looking sternly at him

He nods once but has to look away, because direct eye contact like that with Em is too intense

(her eyes are so pretty and he can't lose face like that, not in front of her! He's got an image to protect!)

"Promise." he manages to mutter, hoping that she believes him.

Before they split, Yoongi suggests that it's better that they dress as rich townsfolks so people won't be suspicious of them.

"Who knows? Maybe we can even lure out the guy from the poster..." He adds, "He's a thief. All they're interested in are new people they can rob from." He spoke from experience.

Also, it would be a plus to have someone local on their side. Someone to guide them once they found the whereabouts of the treasure.

Moments after the field work, they meet up again and Mon reports that she's encountered this "sly fox" and hopes that he joins.

Yoongi hopes that he joins too, since he needs a "native" to help him tell fact from fiction. He's heard a great deal many stories of the so-called legend, but what was actually true?

To everyone's luck, Changkyun does show up

Not only because he was left intrigued and curious as to hear what Mon wanted with him....

But he also wanted to see Mon again sooooo

"You're trying to find Blood Red Ronnie's treasure?" Changkyun states, after hearing their explanation of basically everything

He laughs for a good two minutes, before looking them dead in the face

"People from all over have come to this town, to dig in the dried up lake for YEARS!" he explains, "And no one has found ANYTHING!"

Yoongi was aware that this was going to be difficult.

But he wasn't gong to take no for an answer...

... And Changkyun could sense that.

Unfortunately...

uGH

apologies bc i am not an expert in the western genre i don't even know what western really is isn't it about ... trains?? and robbing them?? and horses and cowboys OH AND SHERIFFSSSSS AND OUTLAWS AND WANTED POSTERS AND WHISKEY AND SALOONS WHERE THEY ALL HAVE THEIR BAR FIGHTS

ye thats basically all i know im doomed OTL let's just get this over with

Changkyun:

ok so let's start this off with

Outlaw!Changkyun

so he's got his posters hanging around town

for this guy is a WANTED man

and at this point they want him either dead or alive

"jUST STOP ROBBING US GE E Z "

only problem is

no one actually knows what he looks like

bc he's a sneaky robber like that

so they probably refer to him as the sly fox

or smth like that bc no one knows anything about him

he's also so young and so unsuspecting

but that's bc he's been a thief his whole life

and knows exactly how to pickpocket the rich in this ugly ol' town

he's also a sharp shooter

so he's got two pistols with him at all times

and has the PERFECT aim

do not even

if he wants you dead

you'll be dead

he's probably the type to name the pistols something too like

Bonnie and Clyde

(wait-... maybe not. since that movie hasn't come out yet but...)

ANYWAYS

He's not a part of any team

any group

and he prefers to work alone.

He's never thought of himself as a "for hire guy" either until....

One day, he walks into his favorite saloon (read: the ONLY saloon in this town). He orders a drink, plays a game of poker with his usual mates and maybe gets into a fight or two all the while, constantly examining the room for potential rich victims...

AND THEN

in walks a young "missus"... she looks a little lost, confused and vERY RICH! Her dress is definite proof that her father's got money.... And that purse she carries around with her, as if she was dangling it in front of him, tempting him to come over and get it.

oH HE WILL

So he smoothly walks up to her by the bar and strikes up some friendly conversation with her. Just some casual small talk to hopefully distract her enough so he can get the purse and go... but

She's a really nice person to have a conversation because she genuinely seemed interested in what he had to say, which is rare for the rich daughters of some big shot tycoon from a neighboring town. She wasn't stuck up or spoiled. She was .... so kind.

It wasn't like the topics to he had to say were particularly interesting or anything. It was about this STUPID UGLY TOWN. And he wasn't advertising it because honestly....

"This town is a wasteland, Miss. It hasn't rained in almost 50 years, so the lake's all dried up. There are neither oil nor gold in the mines ..." So basically, this town straight up sucks. And he hopes that her rich ol' daddy doesn't have any interest in investing in this slowly decaying town.

To his surprise, she just grins at him and shakes her head

(pls don't do that Mon his heart did a flip and he nearly passed out.)

"But I'm not here for your oil, nor your gold or your dried up lake." She replies, throwing him aback.

but if she wasn't interested in the things everyone else cared for, what did she want?

"I'm here for you." She muses, "You're the famous Sly Fox, aren't you? Your posters are everywhere here."

Is she-.... impressed?

A chill runs down his spine in panic as he's ready to dash out because sHE'S NOT SUPOSED TO KNOW THAT

Unable to reply, she hands him a little white card and tells him not to worry, she won't report him to the local sheriff, since he didn't actually steal her purse

which is mind blowing because AGAIN HOW DID SHE KNOW HE WAS GOING TO???

but she does encourage him to come to the written address at 8 pm tonight.

She gives him one last smile and a polite "Good day. I hope to see you later." before heading out of the saloon, and leaving him in shock and with the tab to her drink.

4. superheroes pt. ii

and throwing in yoongi's over here hehe don't worry em! it's minimal im sure you can deal

Yoongi:

is probably the son of Poseidon

but hates it bc Greek mythology is so overrated

and Yoongi is too cool for overrated

however he has inherited his father's abilities

in that he can control water

(again im super basic with super powers right now UGH)

Yoongi has no problem with it tbh

he actually really likes his powers

and keeps testing his own limits

to see how much he can develop them

so far he's learned how to manipulate it

and make it appear by using the air around

if we have to go deep and scientific about it

there are always water particles everywhere

so yoongi's learn how to gather all of those particles too

to mAKE WATER APPEAR FROM SEEMINGLY

OUT OF THIN AIR

but this works better when he's outside since the air inside

is often dryer and he doesn't want to risk suffocating others

he's also discovered another side to his powers

in that he's learned how to heal wounds with water

by mending the scar tissues using tinier molecules in the water

and

honestly yoongi's figured out some science way to do it

bc although he's super cool on the outside

he's lowkey a closet nerd

he just really likes science ok

he's done with mythology i told you

if only dear ol' father could see him now

there is a third side to his powers that he's discovered

but has vowed to never use it

since yoongi can basically manipulate water in any form

he has calculated that it would

technically

be possible for him to control another human being too

since the body consists of 60% water

as it freely flows between the cells and blood

in theory

he would be able to manipulate those too

but that goes against so many ethic codes

and moral standards

Yoongi does not want to bother

however

when pushed to the limit

who knows what he might do?

although he doesn't have that many conflicting struggles with his powers

(unlike changkyun)

he avoids using them as much as possible

unless necessary

and by necessary i mean

unless its to his own benefit

bc yoongi

is a badass cool prince of the seven seas and

doesn't really care about other people

except people he does cares about

for instance Em

she's managed to melt that ice cold exterior of his

and tested out the waters

to see that he's actually a giant softie

especially for her

and he'd do anything for her

when it rains and if they don't have an umbrella with them

yoongi will make sure that the raindrops will never hit them

it'll almost look like an invisible shield over their heads

as they continue to walk down the street

hand in hand

and oh-so-in-love

and if she gets hurt

he'll be so gentle and caring

with the healing process

even if its a tiny cut from

slicing up carrots for a dish

he'll sit her down

hand in his

as he'll gently examine the injury

before getting to work

and when he's done

he'll kiss the spot where the injury once was

and make her promise

that she should be more careful next time

4. superheroes pt. i

no major plot or anything triggering this time i promise (so chill MON!) this au had a lot of potential thoooo but ill save it for another time

Changkyun:

for this au

we're giving Changkyun the ability to control fire

bc im braindead right now

and i can only think of elemental superpowers

but i guess it suits him well

bc he is HOT

(get it Mon ??? wink wonk!!)

but anyways

so it's this thing with changkyun right

although mon thinks his powers are pretty cool

he actually hates it

he's scared of losing control

he hasn't fully mastered it yet and that

frightens him

he's honestly way more powerful than he allows himself to be

and that's bc he lowkey fears it

he's alot like his powers too actually

in the sense that when he gets mad

IT SHOWS

for instance when he's really pushed to the limit

and seething with rage

his fire comes out to play too

often he'll feel that fire within him

just ready to come out

and it has once

he and yoongi had gotten up in a silly little argument

but it made him really upset

also honestly yoongi wasn't helping

he's a snarky little meanie when it comes to discussions

and changkyun nearly burned him alive

nothing happened ofc

thanks to yoongi's quick reflexes

but that's when changkyun really realized

how dangerous his powers were

if he didn't restrain them a bit

yoongi has long forgiven and has probably almost forgotten the incident himself

but changkyun doesn't go easy on himself like that

he's gotten more and more careful over the years

as his powers prove to grow stronger every day

and especially when he has Mon around now

he has to be extra careful in dealing with them

with her so close to him

sure she thinks they're pretty cool

and he won't hesitate to show them when to her when she asks

for instance during the colder seasons

when they're outside enjoying the snow fall

but it gets a little too cold or too windy

he'll be able to heat himself up without burning

and Mon can hug him

or hold his hand if hugging is too much

also legit he'd be able to start a little bonfire

whenever and wherever

until Mon has gotten enough heat

for her to carry on the journey

or when at night she wakes up from a horrid nightmare

and has trouble going back to sleep

he'll comfort her

and entertain her with his own little personal

fire show

illuminating the room

so she can calm down

and watch the flames dance slowly dance through his fingertips

until she falls back to sleep.

changkyun would basically do anything to keep mon safe

and anyone who dares to mess with mon

has to go through fire first

3. 1950's

ok but in korea... the 50's was the Korean War x'D between the two Koreas for the first time. the north had allies from russia and china while the states aided the south.

that's the au setting.

Yoongi:

has probably earned a high rank

perhaps he's a commanding officer

running his own unit

sure he comes from a family line of military heads

but he's earned this rank on his own

based on his sharp skills on the field and his devotion to the motherland

he believes korea shouldn't be torn

and fights for them to stay as one

his unit gets aid from the united states of UGH-MERICA.

and hopes that his beloved korea stays united too!!!!

his base is located in daegu (agfkglajhlad)

where he plans and strategises along with american officers too

tonight however is the first time the base in daegu

will throw a "little army" party

to lift the spirits up for the troops

with good food

and musical entertainment

provided by the american allies

and that's where EM comes in

she and mon will be singing

jazzy and fun 50's songs for the night

and the entire base is howling

and clapping

bc honestly they havent seen girls in months

buT ALSO THOSE TWO GIRLS UP THERE ARE SO PRETTY

AND EVERYONE'S HEART IS FLUTTERING

BUT LIKE

especially yoongis'

while everyone was being rowdy and loud

he watched silently in admiration

smiling

feeling

happy for the first time in a long time

he was just so captivated by Em's beauty

he didn't dare to look away

and when she had her solo song

and sang la vie en rose (in English Em don't worry)

yoongi felt moVED

HE HADNT HEARD MUSIC IN A LONG TIME AND HONESTLY

HE MISSED IT

Changkyun:

is attending that army base party too

however

he's got a secret

to anyone looking

he blends in well

he looks exactly like many of the student soldiers

who volunteered and put a hold on their education

he looked like any young man fighting and believing

that korea will come thru

but his allegiance lay elsewhere

changkyun didn't grow up rich like yoongi

so when he saw an opportunity to be someone important

and perhaps elevate his status

he seized it

and signed up to help the north

they were getting aided by the soviet union (former russia)

and CHINA

two world powers backing up and aiding the poor like himself and his family

so he did what he had to

made himself available

and was sent to the south to pose as their ally

as one of them

changkyun was a double agent

and saw it as a huge honor

but spending time at the south korean base

among his fellow soldiers and comrades

made him question his loyalty

they didn't seem all too bad

and honestly

their belief for having korea as one united nation

sounded better than what

he's been otherwise offered

changkyun had grown a little too attached with his unit

and the officials from the north could sense that

so they sent in a secret message to him that morning

to test out his loyalty

he was to plant a bomb at the army base party tonight

and detonate it

injuring all the american allies

as well as his fellow korean brothers

if he failed this task

his parents would be executed the next day

and he would be deemed as a traitor to the north side

without hesitation

changkyun managed to plant the bomb before the party started

ignoring everyone as much as possible

but when the party started

and everyone looked so happy

and the atmosphere was amazing

he could hardly stand it

he was having second thoughts

rushing out back to calm down

and figure out what to do

he was in his own world he didn't realise

that he had barged into the girls dressing room

while Em was still out there singing her song

Mon had snuck back to change for her jazzy little dance performance

but got the shock of her life

when changkyun barged in

seeing her startled and frightened

he felt his own heart jump

starting to panic even more

although it was super rude of him to barge in like this

she could sense that he wasn't feeling well

he looked anxious and worried

and scared

"are you alright?" she calmly asks

and approaches him

changkyun wasn't sure what she was saying

nor was he ready to come up with some stupid excuse

or a lame lie

he just

started tearing up

it was too much

the pressure

the dilemma

the guilt

and having to choose between so many sides

he felt so lost and so confused

Mon went even closer and decided to comfort him

with a hug

bc poor kid looked like he needed one

and they just sat there in silence

mon telling him that everything was going to be ok

despite not knowing his situation

and changkyun just

wow ok mon im sorry

this turned out longer than expected

2. high school

i feel like we've covered a high school setting before...

... here's one anyways!!!

Changkyun:

i think we all agree that changkyun would be the cutest high schooler ever

he's one of those transfer students

from UGH-MERICA

so he is super nervous about his first day

and literally HATES being introduced in front of the class

as one of the first things in the morning

its always like

"ok class! i want you all to take care of your new classmate im changkyun! he transferred all the way from boston and he's very excited to meet all of you blah blah blah..."

he's probably smiling shyly and nervously glimpsing out to the class

from time to time

curiously wondering what his future classmates are like

but he's also really worried

and hopes that he can get along with them

but all of them are blankly staring at him

making him feel so intimated

so his glances are brief

since he does not want actual eye contact with anyone

bc this is low-key embarrassing

however his eye does catch someone

really pretty sitting at the back

(in case mon doesn't know it's her)

(It's you MONICA!)

but he looks away again

bc the second she looks at him

he freaks

"would you like to say a few words about yourself??"

he hears the teacher mutter

changkyun looks at the teacher in panic

ofc NOT

"uhmmmm"

he can hear someone snort in the back

(it's taehyung bc he's a meanie like that!!!)

luckily the bell rings in time before changkyun can make a fool of himself even more

and everyone storms out the classroom

just passing the teacher by

and not even greeting changkyun properly

more like ignoring him actually

bc who has time for the new kid ???!?

well

all except one

the cute girl from the back actually approaches him

(STILL FRIGGIN' MON)

with a warm smile

and an even warmer handshake

she introduces herself

and he thinks she has the pretties voice ever

and the prettiest name to match

she asks if he wants to join her for lunch

so she can show him around

and help him get familiar with campus and the other students

he happily accepts

feeling so relieved that he's managed to make a friend on his first day already!!

that's a personal record.

Yoongi:

we all know that yoongi senpai is a thing

he's that cool senior

that basically everyone has a crush on

so for like valentine's or whatever

his locker is always filled with notes

and chocolates

he rejects the notes

but always keep the chocolates

bc he's got a bff 4 lyfe

whom he's practically grew up with

(the bff is em in case she's being in denial)

so he saves the chocolates

for himself and for em

to munch on during spontaneous movie nights

honestly

its funny how the entire school's

got a crush on yoongi

whether they want to admit ir or not

but the one yoongi's actually crushing on

is the only one in the entire school

who doesn't see him that way

all the girls are lowkey jealous of em

bc of her close attachment to yoongi

but she's the one he really wants a note from one day

all his buddies are telling him why he doesn't make a move already ?!??!?

"you're gonna be friendzoned for LIFE IF YOU DONT DO ANYTHING NOW!!"

namjoon insists

but yoongi doesn't want to risk it bc

a) he LOVES the friendship they have now

what if things get awkward between them after he confesses ?!?!

nOT WORTH IT

also

b) he likes em so much he's also scared

of getting hurt

i mean ye she's seen his emo and vulnerable side before

but NEVER like that vulnerable

and would he be ready to get rejected in case ?!!?!?

n AH

so he'll just settle with this for now

and secretly keep her as his

high school will end at some point anyways

so why not enjoy it while he stil can ?!?!

1. fantasy pt. ii

bc we gotta write about Changkyun's older brother aka actual heir to the throne aka Yoongi too:

so we were briefly introduced to changkyun's older brother

in the previous pt ye??

what if Yoongi had a twin sister named Yoonji ?!??!

Yoongi is older by a few minutes

exactly 3 minutes before midnight

and Yoonji 3 minutes after mindnight

ever since the twins were young

they've displayed an exceptional ability

abilities that were opposite but complimentary

yoongi could see into anyone's past by a single touch

while his sister had the ability to see into the future

or at least try to since the future was always changing

although their father, the king, appreciated their talents

the twins saw it as a curse

often times yoongi wouldn't be able to control how far back into someone's past he could see

so the visions would often overwhelm him and emotionally drain him

it would also often shatter his perception on people close to him

for instance an uncle that he used to care about dearly

once hugged him

making it possible for yoongi to peer into his uncles terrible past

his uncle was the commanding general of the royal army

and yoongi saw how his uncle brutally slaughtered their enemies

even innocent families

this was the first time yoongi questioned the morality of his family

and the last time he ever hugged his uncle

because of his abilities yoongi became more of an introvert and avoided physical contact as much as possible

he hadn't learned how to control them yet

and could no longer stand invading the peoples privacy and hidden secrets

his sister's abilities were getting stronger too

but unlike yoongi who had clear visions

her were often blurs

like glimpses of dreams

one night she woke up screaming

gasping for air and fearing for her life

she was going to die soon

she offered yoongi a glimpse

but he refused

no longer wanting to peer into personal lives

let alone his own sisters

he vowed to protect her instead

and make sure that no harm would ever come her way

"we've avoided your visions before, we can avoid this one too"

years later, however

yoongi failed to keep his promise

for on the evening of their coming-of-age day

his sister was murdered in her sleep

"a thief in the night."

his father had explained

"but don't worry. we've caught him and he shall be hanged tomorrow before sunrise."

devastated and in deep sorrow

yoongi finally allowed himself to peer into his sisters past

holding her cold limp hand

he saw how the murder had happened

it wasn't a thief in the night

it was their own father

and he was sure that he would come after yoongi too

horrified by what he saw

yoongi fled the kingdom

and out to the closest village nearby

hopefully he could lay low for a while

and blend in with the people

before figuring out what to do
