“I am greatly insulted that you have decided that the surviving Lunari is nothing but a mockery. Rather a displeasing thing to hear considering I’d have thought you’d be happier rather than be mocked. Overwhelmed and disbelief, sure but mocked? Did you prefer that you all died out then? Is that what you wanted?” Althea scowled at that, now crossing her arms as she turned back to the village. She was rather proud of these few people that were able to survive in Mount Targon albeit being hunted down endlessly by the Solari. This was a life that nobody should live yet here they were, loyal to the silver light of the Moon no matter the cost.
If only she could do more for them...
Alas, her abilities were limited. So it was greatly upsetting that this specter had looked down at her own people. She was used to being spat on and condemned but the Lunari did not deserve that.
Althea then straightened up before looking back down at Cyllene. “I will not answer that question. Not when you feel mocked that some Lunari has survived and some are willing to worship the Moon and how you are very volatile with your reactions. I suppose I am only glad that you did not lash out even now at the end.” A sigh as the woman pursed her lips.

Althea found herself pursing her lips when her body slowly refused to budge the moment the spell had started to latch onto her. Muscles contracted and flexed as she kept forcing herself to move whilst the spell was still incomplete before blinking when a newcomer came into the scene. His dark armor was something she had noticed that Noxians preferred ever since coming into the borders but the metal on this one looked quite battle-worn.
"Well. At least someone appreciates drinking here." The Targonian sighed in relief before sheathing her weapon in its place behind her back as she turned to look at her attackers. Only three were left.. or four depending if the one she threw would regain his senses back.
"Come here often? Say... Are women here alway this spicy?" Althea asked the black-armored man, a rather ridiculous thing to jest around considering their current situation but it was because she didn't consider it dangerous that she was able to throw such a nonsense rhetorical question. Still, she really would have preferred if none of this had happened but one was already dead and the others were bent on killing them. Might as well finish it. Maybe this one in armor would show her to some good ale.
Then the Targonian once more vanished in a flash, quick to charge and move as she aimed for the female with the blades, most likely targeting her and the obvious leader of the pack near the Noxian. She leaped off the ground before any of them could attack her then landing on the wall beside them. Heavens above it always felt nice to fight outside the slippery heavy thickness that was the snow of Mount Targon. Here in the lowlands, she felt lighter and quicker which meant deadlier to those around her.
Not missing a beat, Althea used the wall to launch herself towards the sword-wielding woman, hand reaching out to grab her face and slam her head down onto the stone floor--most likely knocking her out cold. She then gave the leader a sad and disappointed smile as she would send the Noxian she held towards the mage, hoping to send the pretty mugger toppling down on her ass.
They did say the best weapon is one's body. Althea was just using it too literally.

“I asked myself the same question during the entire journey. After all, this is no man’s land and I have now confirmed for myself as to why.” Althea kept her guard around the... thing... Darkin? It was making her arm itchy and her entire self agitated so perhaps it definitely was one.
“How did you find out I was Lunari? Is that a Darkin thing?” She threw her bait and now waited for a bite.

Althea smiled when the other was coming out of the place with a thick fur cloak that threatened to consume her rather small--at least to the Lunari--form of the other. She finished the jerky before tilting her mask up to take a better look at the Shuriman and nodded.
“Yes more bridges to pass through. I believe there’s a total of hmm... I don’t know, give or take a dozen.” The woman told the other, her rather serious demeanor quite convincing until she grinned at the other at the end.
“No more bridges unless you find yourself climbing higher in the mountains. For now... Let’s see... Have you eaten? I remember you said that you’ve been traveling since Shurima so you must be both exhausted and famished. There’s--” She found the hair on her back standing as she felt someone watching her. Althea ended up getting distracted as she looked around but saw nobody before pursing her lips and continuing.
It was probably her imagination.
“There’s a nice place to eat just up ahead along with an inn right beside it. They’re a family business if I remember right.”

“That’s fine.” Althea was quick to say as she kept her eyes on the small settlement not far from them. “I do not expect you to accept and believe it all even after you’ve seen it.” A pause, “But at least you have seen it with your own eyes and I think that’s what matters most. To know that once you have calmed down that there is a home for you to return to should you wish to.”
The Captain was then quiet as she pondered, exhausted completely and would have most likely passed out if not for the fact that she felt responsible for Cyllene even if the specter did attempt to kill her a few days ago.
“There’s a small abandoned Lunari temple not far from here. Much closer than the one you were before and because of fear, many of the Lunari are against traveling to the place... or anywhere really.” She then finally turned to look at the other, tilting her head to the side.
“If you want, you can stay there. Far enough from us but still close enough should you wish to take a peek and visit.”
