I love that One Piece doesn't have any character's ethnicity canonically set in stone, like Oda has stated what he thinks each character would be in the real world, but the One Piece world is not the real world, so y'know....stuff like "Franky is American" isn't actually canon...sadly

Regardless, I like that because for a bunch of characters, due to Oda saying so, everyone agrees on their ethnicities And then there are the characters not yet talked about, like Shanks, but everyone thinks he's either Irish or Scottish, and that's all well and good But I wanna say that everyone saying Crocodile is Italian is wrong, so very wrong That man is German

I like Alisaie's continuous distaste for self sacrifice. In a genre where self sacrifice is usually something noble and necessary, it's refreshing to see a character say "No. There is another way. You are not losing it all for this cause. You will live to see your efforts bear fruit."
