Maybe that time of month is near cause now I’m crying about this. I shouldn’t get so worked up about a new job but I am. Fuck

This art block is kicking my ass; it’s been nearly a month and whenever I do draw, it doesn’t seem like it’s there. Like I’ll have a sketch and redo the lineart x3 before erasing it all.

I accepted the job, but I have to start next Monday. I have to abruptly leave my current job with this Friday being my last day which is just great. I’m nervous about how my supervisor will take it. Wish me luck y’all

Nothing like being sick for like a week and having career making decisions that make you lose sleep; but I hope that everyone is doing okay :)

I’m finally at a job where I don’t have to stress, but there is an opportunity at hand of a higher paying job where I can finally use my degree (albeit it will be a stressful environment). I just keep going in circles.

Should it be safe to assume that Asa has green eyes?

In the back cover of volume 12, her eye color wasn’t too specific as it was mainly like black scratches (is that even the right word)

I am now obligated to draw a doodle of Asa with green eyes today lol

Edit: I’m going to take this with a grain of salt since colors used in covers can sometimes be inconsistent.

I began reading today’s csm chapter with the Spanish translations and it’s so interesting how word/ translation choices impact how things are delivered. Perhaps, I’ll re-read all of csm in Spanish now.

I decided to challenge myself and actually write an AsaDen fanfiction. I am still debating if I want it to be a one-shot or a multi-fic, but I'll see how things play out. I got the main idea and basic dialogue out of the way today, so tomorrow I am hoping to add more and start the editing process. Shout out to a random generator for a fun AU idea (different than the one I originally had).

the beauty of storms (kouga x kagome, inuyasha, rated: g)

“Kouga,” she breathed, pressing a hand to her heart as the sudden sharp surge of adrenaline passed.

Kouga’s eyes lit upon her and brightened, lips tilting into a grin. “Kagome! I knew I caught your scent on the wind.” 

He was drenched, strands of dark hair plastered to his brow and fur limp with rainwater. Kagome regarded him silently for a moment, surreptitiously checking for signs of battle and relieved when she found none. 

“Been a while since you were in my neck of the woods,” Kouga quipped, approaching her. His footsteps left puddles in his wake, the hollow of his throat gleaming with rainwater, and as he pushed a clawed hand through his dripping fringe, Kagome found herself following the movement, a familiar pang in the pit of her stomach.
