Morbid question but how did each member of the team die in the firestorm au?

martin was doing a supply run outside the city and got caught by a passing cabal patrol. chris kicked the bucket a little after martin came back to the city as a risen -- i'm not too sure on how it happened, but i like to assume he fell after trying to climb up somewhere.

the girls have been guardians for a few decades and their first deaths happened MUCH earlier than that, so the way they died is kinda lost to history now. koki was from the golden age and most likely died during the collapse, and aviva died on the road to the city during the dark ages.

jimmy's not a lightbearer so he was born and raised in the city :]

i was originally gonna write a full fic for the Runes AU but the plans for that fell through. i might make a full timeline post so you guys can at least see the general idea of what i had for the plot, but it might take me a while since school / work has been Very busy for me ^^'

i'm really glad you like the au though! it's an idea i've had for a long time so it's nice to see other ppl enjoy it as much as i do :')

How persona characters awaken their personas

Persona 3: Shooting themselves in the head

(Jokes aside, how did the bros discover their personas?)

ASDGKJHADSKGJ its a little more than that dw

so! the activation suits are technology native to the shadow world, similar to the glasses in p4. they're first and foremost used as a sort of "repelling" agent against the shadows occupying the dimension, allowing the wearer to take "damage" against a hostile shadow rather than just like. outright dying from a single hit (so ig in game mechanics terms it'd be the thing that allows the party to have health bars rather than reacting to injuries the way they would in the real world). that being said, activation suits start out in their dormant form by default and don't receive their signature glow until the wearer's persona is awakened.

the way an individual awakens their persona is to allow themselves to be vulnerable to whatever is haunting them. the process is a little different for everyone, but essentially it's the display of the emotional strength needed to overcome one's regrets that causes the activation suit to react to the person wearing it. once that happens, the wearer will be able to use the activation suit to "transform" into their true self (their persona!)

it's a little fucked up though cause like. activating your persona is quite literally baring your soul to the world around you. in order for a persona to manifest, the activation suit will basically separate this projection of your true self from your physical body, so a transformation process looks a lil something like this:

the bros are a little bit of a unique case (aka protagonist/plot convenience syndrome SDJKGHSDJKGH) cause their personas awakened without the need to overcome any kind of personal hauntings (for now); rather, theirs awakened to their need/wish to make sure they and the girls got home safe from the first time they entered the shadow world :]

I wanna know what everyone’s social medias would be like in Wild Kratts universe, and what they’d post and like. This has probably been talked about before, but I feel like making fake posts with the characters would be so funny.

Like the WK team probably has a joint account where they all post. Then like irl, the bros have a joint account where it’s just the two of them. Then the others in the crew have their own separate accounts.

Koki has like every social media under the sun, and so does the shared account of Tortuga HQ, because Koki runs it, because of course she would, she’s head of communication. Aviva sticks to twitter and instagram. Jimmy has twitch, discord, twitter, tiktok, and youtube. The bros, like irl, have tiktok, instagram, twitter, and a partnership with PBS/other broadcasting companies since I think they make animal documentaries. And they’re a well known group of scientists who partner up with animal conservations and national parks around the world, so that’s why they’re so well known.

Honestly the bros probably have facebook accounts too. I know that in Wild Kratts they’re supposed to be younger then irl, but these guys still have the old dad spirits. They have Facebook and use the large texts and look at memes in utter confusion. They use their stock images of themselves for their profile pictures instead of actually taking a new picture, because they can’t do one for themselves. They use tech daily yes, but not when it comes to phones that everyone else uses. If it’s not Aviva grade tech, then they won’t know how to use it.

Then the Villains would also be pretty funny to see, especially since they’ve got money and are probably considered celebrities. So they’re posting the most awful takes every time and all their comments is just people eating it up, or full of trolls and people posting memes.

Dabio’s probably got a massive fanbase of simps too, because he’s a world renowned model that works for one of the world’s best fashionistas.

Zach’s the equivalent of capitalist bigot on social media for the exposure and to cause scandals. Probably has a block list that’s so unbelievably full that it takes up like 5 pages, or he’s reached the limit. Aviva and Koki have like 70 alternative accounts just to bully him.

But the thought that the villains and heroes follow each other is also incredibly amusing to me. Because they’ve canonically got each other’s numbers/contact info.

Perhaps every post they make that doesn’t mention the other group is just full of shade and is a silent call out post. Like they all just live for the drama when they’re bored.
