Psychological Defense Mechanisms and the Enneagram
(If you are self-typed correctly, you should be able to come up with several specific examples from your own life of using the psychological defense mechanisms of your core type. Since your secondary type is also quite strong, you may also have examples to go with your higher / lower fix.)
Sourced here.
1) Ones use reaction formation to avoid anger (i.e. direct anger) and stay in control of their feelings and instincts in order to maintain a self image of being right. Reaction formation is feeling one thing and then expressing the opposite or at least something unrelated, such as feeling resentful but acting nice, feeling a need to rest but working harder. The relentless demand of the inner critic to be good and do good at all times replaces personal needs and shuts down feelings. 2) Twos use repression of personal needs and feelings to avoid being needy and to maintain a self image of being helpful. Repression is putting one’s “unacceptable” feelings and impulses out of awareness by converting them into a more acceptable kind of emotional energy. Self-esteem depends on winning the approval of others. This can take the form of being overly nice, flattering people, and a superficial friendliness. Or it can show up as an attitude of entitlement. Their genuine need for connection takes the form of “you need me.” 3) Threes use identification to avoid failure and maintain a self image of being successful. Identification is stepping into a role so completely that Threes lose contact with who they are inside. The pressure to keep up a winning image prevents access to personal feelings and needs. Attention goes to the external environment: the tasks to be done and the expectations of other people. Threes find it very difficult to drop the role, or drop the image, since they get so much positive reinforcement in a society that values achievement and success. 4) Fours use introjection to avoid ordinariness and maintain a self image of being authentic. Positive introjection is an attempt to overcome the feeling of deficiency by seeking value from an idealized experience, work or relationship and internalizing this through the emotional center. This also leads to negative introjection: Fours tend blame themselves for whatever goes wrong in personal relationships. Their experience of loss or abandonment can take form inside as a self-rejecting voice (a negative introject) which leads to pervasive feelings of unworthiness. 5) Fives use isolation to avoid the experience of inner emptiness and maintain a self image of being knowledgeable. Isolation can be physical withdrawal from others, but it also means withdrawing on the inside from one’s emotions and staying up in the head. Acquiring knowledge becomes a way to create safety and self worth, but an over-emphasis on the intellect prevents Fives from connecting with the life force in their bodies and the support available in  relationship with others. 6) Sixes use projection to avoid rejection and to maintain a self image of being loyal. Projection is a way of attributing to others what one can’t accept in oneself, both positive and negative. Positive feelings are projected onto a romantic relationship or an external authority figure in order to assure safety and justify loyalty. Negative feelings are projected onto others to justify internal feelings of fear and distrust. Sixes support their projections by finding and amplifying the information which fits their premise. 7) Sevens use rationalization to avoid suffering and to maintain a self image of being OK. Rationalization is a way of staying in the head, explaining away or justifying things in order to distance from painful feelings and refuse to take responsibility for their behavior. Everything can be re-framed towards the positive. Their ability to think of new options and possibilities allows Sevens to leave the present moment with its limitations and live in a seemingly unlimited future. 8) Eights use denial to avoid vulnerability and to maintain a self image of being strong. Denial means to power up in the body center and forcefully re-direct energy and attention through willfulness and control. Vulnerable feelings are automatically put away and not experienced. Emotional energy is reduced, while instinctual energy is increased. Receptivity necessarily involves some vulnerability, so Eights seek to impact the world and other people rather than be receptive to them. 9) Nines use narcotization to avoid conflict and to maintain a self image of being comfortable or harmonious. Narcotization is using food and drink, entertainment, or simply repetitive patterns of thinking and doing to “put oneself to sleep”. Even productive activities can keep Nines narcotized if they become too habitual. Avoiding conflict with others keeps Nines from being fully present in relationships. Avoiding internal conflict leads to inertia and self-forgetting.

the Ascendant Persona Chart and the meaning of the houses
Tumblr media
There is very little information on Persona charts on the internet and almost no literature or research on the subject; it's a little bit difficult to describe accurately what those charts represent. I've tried to brainstorm what each chart means, and this article is my take on it.
To me, the Ascendant Persona chart reveals the origins of your natal Ascendant. All the ideas and fantasies you have unconsciously put together throughout your formative years to create your "persona" (which is usually how we describe the role of the natal Ascendant) are revealed here. Your relationship towards your appearance, how you choose to present yourself, and the convictions attached to it are seen in this chart.
It seems like those charts are perceived softly; it might be difficult to perceive the placements of the planets and their interactions. Think of it as energy created in the most unconscious layer of your personality.
I have noticed that the placement of the house ruler is what gives the most information as to what is destined for your Ascendant. For example, if your chart ruler is in the 11th house, you're destined to make an impression when you are part of a group; you'll always jump out of the crowd, and your beauty will truly shine there. This can signify popularity, especially if you have a stellium in this house and those patterns are already present in your natal chart.
1st house: This is the first impression you wish to make when meeting someone and how you choose to present yourself (appearance and behavior). For example, Leo Ascendants aim to dazzle the person in front of them, while a Virgo Ascendant prefers to look clever and natural. The placement of the ruler will show where your appearance makes the most impact at first glance.
2nd house: This house represents how valuable your Ascendant is to you. Someone with a Virgo/Mercury 2nd house will be interested but won't be emotionally tied to their persona, while another native with Scorpio/Pluto in this house can be obsessive and place a lot of worth on it. Venus' position and condition should also be examined as this planet rules Taurus and the 2nd house. The placement of the house ruler can predict where you might be able to profit from your Ascendant.
3rd house: This is how you communicate and perceive your Ascendant and how you speak about it in general. Aries/Mars in this house could mean that you are passionate about your persona; these natives might defend themselves vehemently when someone criticizes their character. Someone with Saturn/Capricorn might use self-effacing words or choose to communicate maturely and respectably.
4th house: This house shows the roots of your Ascendant; this is your deepest origins story. It can also show how your appearance was perceived as a child and what persona you showed to your family. Jupiter in this house could indicate that you were able to explore many personalities as a child. This house might also reflect how you talk about your childhood and past. Someone with Pluto/Scorpio might decide to be secretive, while another native with the Sun or Mercury in the 4th house will be open to talking about it.
5th house: This is your Ascendant's most vibrant and creative part in the chart. It's where you experience the self-expression of your Ascendant. Since the 1st and 5th house form a trine, whatever you cook up in this house will be projected onto your physical appearance and mannerisms. This house also shows how you appear to children.
6th house: This house shows how you craft your Ascendant; all the details and the daily efforts required to maintain your persona are seen here. Uranus in the 6th might indicate someone who makes irregular efforts or try to somehow innovate in this field, while another person with the Sun might put a lot of focus and work into the finest details. The ruler's house placement shows who sees those efforts (ex: if in the 10th house, your efforts are seen by everybody and are beneficial to your public image, and if in the 8th or 12th house, they are seen by no one).
7th house: This is how you appear in a one-on-one relationship and how you show interest in someone else. A native with an Aquarius Ascendant might not care about how they look at the first meeting but will put on a show for the person they are trying to seduce or impress (7th house in Leo). The house placement of the ruler shows the other person's reaction (in the 4th house, they might feel comfortable, in the 6th house, they appreciate all your efforts or could feel like you are trying too hard).
8th house: This house indicates how you deal with your darker side. Someone with Saturn might be scared of showing it; they'll keep the conversations light and easy and will not open up and let others see their struggles and pain.
9th house: You'll find the convictions you have regarding your Ascendant in this house. Someone with Mars or Aries in this house might feel passionate about their persona and believe wholeheartedly in how they present themselves. In contrast, someone with Neptune or Pisces might be easily swayed by peer pressure to conform or believe that compassion should always prevail when interacting with the rest of the world.
10th house: This house shows what version you wish to display to the world. A 10th house Sun could indicate someone who aims to look successful or remarkable, while a 10th house Mercury might seek to look intelligent and friendly. The placement of the ruler shows the actual reputation of your Ascendant, how the public perceives your persona (if in the 11th house, you appear to be popular and friendly, in the 5th you seem to be highly creative and authentic, etc.)
11th house: This house reveals how you blend in with a community or group of people and how friendly you appear to be. The placement of the ruler is how they truly perceive you. Someone with Uranus in this house will stick out while another native with Venus or the Moon will mingle easily.
12th house: This house unveils all the things we unknowingly do to sabotage our persona. Things are foggy and unclear in this house, and the reasons for such behaviors might escape us.

Analyzing Persona Charts: The Ascendant ~ Master Post
Examining the Persona Chart of our Ascendant can offer a much more clear view of the image we project to their world. Please understand that much of the available research Persona charts is largely theoretical and my analyses are simply a reflection of my own personal understanding. Here are a few of the most relevant parts of your Ascendant’s Persona Chart.
The Ascendant’s Sun: This is your Ascendant/Rising sign, A.K.A. the sign on the cusp of your 1st house. This is where you are most conscious of the image you project onto others. It’s how you generally assume you come off. This will feel very natural and you are most likely aware of it without giving it much conscious thought. The Ascendant’s Sun is basically the summary of the image you project onto the world around you. For example, if you are a Virgo rising, the sun in your Ascendant’s persona chart will be Virgo. Here is a post that goes into greater detail of each rising sign’s characteristics.
The Ascendant’s Sun House Position: This is the area of life where you are most conscious of the image you project onto others. So if your Ascendant’s Sun is in the 11th house, you may be very conscious of your projected self-image when you’re a part of a group or working with others towards a common goal. Here is a post that goes into greater detail of each house position and their characteristics.
The Ascendant’s Moon Sign (Or House Position): This is how you feel you are projecting yourself to the world…. even if it may not be entirely accurate. This is how you believe you are making first impressions, and it can also indicate an image of ourselves that we are emotionally attached to. The Ascendant’s Moon may reveal how we feel about entering new situations and our level of comfort, confidence, or adaptability. Or even our instincts when we meet new people or enter unfamiliar situations. It can also shed light on the role we feel we serve in the world, and the way we expect to be treated because of it. The house containing the Moon can be an extension of this, simply giving it another dimension. For example, if your Ascendant’s persona chart has a Leo Moon, you may expect to be noticed when you walk in the room or expect admiration in new situations in some way. If that Moon happened to be in the 8th house, one may also feel the need to be withdrawn about their emotions in new situations, could feel more comfortable in new situations with less people around, or feel like they have a very intense presence. Here is a post that goes into greater detail of each Moon sign and their characteristics.
The Ascendant’s Ascendant: This can be an indicator of your first impression of the world and the environment you were born into, thus affecting how you approach the world. This is like, the ultimate Ascendant, so naturally it’s an extremely strong indicator of how you would immediately react upon being thrust into a new situation. This placement tends to add on to the traits of the Ascendant’s sun in more gentle or subtle ways. It’s sort of like an extension of your Ascendant, except typically less direct. This can indicate parts of the image you project onto others that you don’t have any explanation for since it could be in a totally different sign from your Ascendant! For example. someone with a Capricorn Rising could project a reserved, self-disciplined, ambitious self-image, while also projecting subtle traits like seeming very affectionate or calming when entering new situations. They could have a sign like Cancer as their Ascendant’s rising sign! (There’s no post on this part of the chart because it’s not very complicated to interpret and is a bit redundant!)
The Ascendant’s Midheaven: This is the projected self-image you strive for. This is your most ideal image of yourself, you may idealize the traits possessed by your Ascendant’s Midheaven than any other part of the persona chart. While the Moon often indicates how we expect others to see us, the Midheaven is how we want other to see us. It’s a perfect indicator of the traits we seek to develop in order to make better first impressions with others. If you strive for others to see you as charming, fair, and smart, and don’t know why, you could have Libra as your Ascendant’s Midheaven! Here is a post that goes into greater detail of how the Ascendant’s Midheaven can manifest through the signs.
The Ascendant’s Saturn: This can be an indicator of what in your early environment held you back and where you may be hesitant to project your self-image due to feeling restricted, uncomfortable, or some other kind of tension you may not be able to verbalize You may feel awkward about this aspect of life and not feel like you know how to appropriately express it. Here is a post that goes into greater detail of how Saturn through the signs/houses of your Ascendant’s persona can show up in your personality.
The Ascendant’s North Node: Since your North Node is most likely going to be in the same sign in all of your persona charts, think of that sign as your general karmic guide for life, while the house containing the Ascendant’s Persona North Node can show where we need to grow specifically in order to fully develop our projected self image or feel comfortable with our self-expression. Here is a post that goes into greater detail of each North Node house for your Ascendant’s persona chart.

The Dapper Wolf
Court of Darkness Fan Fiction - Short Story
Rating: General
Main Characters: MC, Lance Ira, Robin (MC’s familiar), Grushia
You can check out other content that I’ve written/made by clicking here!
~~
One day in the forest–
Lance is lounging under a tree as usual when MC and Robin appear.
MC: Hi Lance!
MC waves, wearing a warm smile.
Robin: Master Lance!
Robin, seeming especially energetic, zooms over to Lance.
Robin:  Look! Look what milady gave me!
He flies around in excited circles, eager to show off.
Lance: Hm? What am I looking at?
MC: Oh, I bought him a bow tie while I was out shopping today. He absolutely adores it.
Robin: Doesn’t it look just dashing against my fur?
Lance: Haha, very cute.
Smiling, Lance scritches Robin gently behind the ears.
In response to hearing Robin’s animated voice, Grushia trots over curiously.
Robin: Master Grushia, look at my new bow tie! Milady bought it for me!
Grushia sniffs at the new accessory around Robin’s neck when MC suddenly exclaims.
MC: Oh yeah! Grushia, wait there! I have something for you, too!
Grushia: Aroo?
Grushia’s ears perk up in anticipation as he excitedly waits to see what MC brought him.
After a moment of rummaging, MC produces a slightly larger bow tie from her bag.
MC: I got you one too! Now you and Robin can match!
Grushia: Arroo!
Lance: What, no, you’re not giving him a bow tie!
Before MC can put the bow tie on Grushia, Lance exclaims this.
Unlike Grushia, he is very clearly not enthusiastic about the idea.
MC: Why not?
Lance: Because! He’s a wolf.
Ignoring him, she slips the bow tie over the wolf’s head.
MC: So?
Lance: Wolves don’t wear bow ties.
MC:  Says who? Look, he wants to wear it!
Grushia wags his tail excitedly as she adjusts the bow tie around his neck.
Lance: Oi, Grushia, you’re a wolf, not a blasted lap dog!
MC: There, perfect!
Now sporting a fetching bow tie, Grushia sits down in front of Lance, staring up at him.
MC: Haha, I think he wants to know what you think!
Lance: …
MC: You don’t want to hurt Grushia’s feelings do you?
Lance: …
MC: Lance, look, you’re making Grushia sad!
Grushia: *whimpers*
MC: Aww, come here Grushia. Don’t listen to big ‘ol meanie Lance. I, for one, think you look very dapper in your bow tie!
Grushia sits down next to MC and she wraps her arms around him protectively, throwing a glare towards her paramour.
Grushia’s ears droop as he looks at Lance with a sad expression.
Grushia: Arroo…
Lance: Come on, don’t you think this is a bit much?
Lance looks exasperated as he watches his paramour and wolf companion, who is now laying on the ground, resting his head in MC’s lap pitifully as she comfortingly pets him.
MC: Really, you look very handsome! No matter what Lance might say!
Lance: Don’t put words in my mouth-
Robin: Yes! I think you look very dashing too, Master Grushia!
Hovering at MC’s shoulder, Robin also throws an angry kitty glare towards Lance.
Lance: For Creator’s sake…
Lance’s exasperation quickly turns to irritation at the melodramatic display everybody is putting on.
MC: It’s okay Grushia, even if Lance won’t accept you, I’ll ALWAYS accept you for who you are. I’m sure he’ll come around eventually…
Lance: Stop making me the villain here!
MC: Then say it.
Lance: Say what?
MC: “Grushia, that bow tie makes you look very cute and handsome!”
Lance: …
Everybody stares at Lance expectantly.
Lance: …
MC: Well?
Lance: I-I don’t think you look bad in that bow tie, Grushia.
Grushia whines, sounding disappointed as he returns his head to MC’s lap.
Lance: Wasn’t that good enough?
MC: Nope, you have to say it word for word.
Lance: Dragon’s teeth…
Lance curses under his breath before resigning himself to his fate.
Lance: Grushia, that bow tie makes you look v-very…cute and handsome…
Grushia: Arrooo!
Immediately perking up, Gruschia wags his tail happily and begins prancing around, proudly displaying his new accessory.
Lance acts exasperated as he shakes his head, but is unable to completely hide the smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
Robin: Come on Master Grushia, let’s go show all the others in the forest!
Grushia: Arroo!
MC and Lance watch as the two animals disappear into the forest.
MC: Oh my gosh!! I just remembered!
Lance: What?
MC: They had matching bow ties for people too!
Lance: …
MC: Darn, I should’ve bought it while I was there! I’ll have to go back into town tomorrow and buy one…
MC: Just imagine, you and Grushia, wearing matching bow ties! Ahhh, that’d be SOO cu-
Lance: NO.
The End.

What kind of stuff in a person's chart indicates talent in singer or just music in general?
I did quite a bit of research on this… One of my favorite topics, astrology and music. Both are gifts to our world. Both are languages to help us understand energy and what energy feels like.
The entire chart plays a significant role in someone’s ability in singing and music so I will try my best to illustrate everything as I hate leaving information out.
The information I’ve collected is from other astrologer’s opinions and charts of different types of musicians I’ve looked into.
I’ll start with the houses that have importance to this ability, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th house.
The 1st house, I believe for the most part, dictates the style in which a musician goes for. So why would the 1st house play a role in the style of music a person goes for? Well, the ascendant is pretty much our doorway between the inner and the outer; how we present the inner to the outer. Our style would come from the 1st house directly.Take a look at someone like Björk (Icelandic singer) and her chart. She’s got her 1st house starting in Scorpio. If you listen to her music, the style is very Scorpio inspired; it’s strange, penetrating, and unconventional. She has no problem expressing the energy a Scorpio represents in her music. Now lets take another singer with a different ascendant, perhaps someone like Freddie Mercury from Queen or Robert Smith from The Cure; their ascendant is in Leo. Their sound is in no doubt very different from each other, but they seem to fit in that category of the dramatic Leo. Almost all of Robert Smith’s songs express the loving lion a Leo represents, its essence is of what Leo/5th house expresses. Then if you look at Freddie Mercury’s music, it is dramatic and theatrical like the Leo.So looking at all the different ascendants, a person’s musical style (disregarding the rest of their chart) may be whatever energy that sign represents. An Aries maybe angry and raw and a Pisces may be hippie and psychedelically inspired. Maybe… This is my opinion on it, subject to change though.I wouldn’t mind hearing other people’s opinion on the ascendant and how it demonstrates a person’s style in music. To get your minds thinking, here’s a random range of artists and their ascendant…Rihanna - AriesJohn Lennon - AriesMariah Carey - TaurusLana Del Rey - TaurusLady Gaga - GeminiBilly Idol - GeminiTchaikovsky - CancerAnnie Lennox - VirgoKurt Kobain - VirgoBeyonce - LibraJared Leto - LibraLudwig Van Beethoven - ScorpioAretha Franklin - ScorpioPrince - ScorpioElvis - SagittariusKesha - SagittariusBarry White - CapricornTom Jones - CapricornAriana Grande - CapricornTaylor Swift - CapricornAdele - AquariusNicki Minaj - AquariusDavid Bowie - Aquarius Michael Jackson - Pisces
One last note before I move onto the 2nd house; I also noticed that almost all of my favourite singers had their ascendant in Leo which is funny because my ascendant is in Leo… We pick music that best suit our style. What are your favourite artist’s ascendants and can you relate to them?
The 2nd house rules the throat. The condition of the throat itself will impact the sound of someone’s voice. Having many beneficial planets in the 2nd house would be good for a singer, some singers even have stelliums in the 2nd house. I know some other people made some really good posts about the 2nd house and its affect on voice so I won’t go too deep into the 2nd house and what planets do what to your voice. To sum up the affects of planets in the 2nd house, it’s pretty much what you would assume; Mars in the 2nd house would give a powerful or even masculine voice whereas Venus in the 2nd house would give a soft and feminine voice. So think of the planet and what it represents to know what it does to a person’s voice. I do however want to however talk about whatever sign is cusping the 2nd house and its impact on a person’s voice.Lets talk about the elements itself; what might a fire voice sound like? a water voice? an earth voice? an air voice? I’ve been trying to put my finger on this exactly, semi-stumped still; don’t really know how to put it to words.I do know for sure the air voice. These are people who have an unafflicted 2nd house in an air sign. Their voices have the potential of singing at operatic levels. Their voices are light, high note reaching, and quite literally I would describe them as airy. Just a few examples of people with an air sign as their second house; Joan Sutherland - Gemini (opera singer), Annie Lennox - Libra, Ariana Grande - Aquarius, and Mariah Carey - Gemini. For the fire voice, this was difficult to put to words. They seem to put a lot of emphasis on the words and sounds they make. Some of them even sound like they are straining their voice or really pushing the sounds that they make. Their voices can be strange, raw, or even penetrating. Some examples of fire voices; Robert Smith from the Cure - Leo (he also has Pluto in the 2nd house) and again Bjork - Sagittarius (she has quite a few planets in the 2nd house including Mars, Venus, and Mercury). For an actual example to listen to as I am bad at explaining things, here’s Robert and here’s Bjork. Adele also has her second house in a fire sign, Aries. She is influenced quite a bit by other parts in her chart, but she definitely has the crackly fire in her voice. For the earth voice, I think is grounding yet dynamic because each of the earth signs are very different from each other in my opinion. Freddie Mercury for example has his second house in Virgo which is the essence of dynamic earth (ignoring the fact that he has many planets that are in the second house in Libra). It’s almost as if Virgo is also influenced by air because it is so mutable and changeable. The earth voice is usually light and pure. It’s smooth and vibrato. I believe Taurus is the richest earth voice of them all as it is grounded and ruled by Venus. So the examples for the earth voice I would say are Freddie Mercury - Virgo, Elvis - Capricorn, and Louis Armstrong - Taurus. Finally for the water voice, to put it simply their voice usually has a LOT of soul. Some examples, Lady Gaga - Cancer, Barry White - Pisces, Tom Jones - Pisces, Beyonce - Scorpio.
Moving onto the 3rd house briefly. Now the 3rd house doesn’t have much to do with how your voice will sound, it is more of the mental side of communication. So things like lyrics and composing music would come from this house. Also because the 3rd house rules the hands, it may also dictate your ability in playing music.
And onto the 4th house. The 4th house is similar to the 1st house in such a way that is dictates style again. It Is actually sort of a mixture of the 1st house (who we are) and the 3rd house (how we communicate that), but the 4th house also reveals our emotions, the songs that come from within. The 4th house will show the root and meaning of songs; the feeling. Naturally water signs/planets can easily express emotions versus the air signs who may have some difficulty, but fun fact; the best poets/musicians usually have both air and water very prominent in their chart.
And the 5th house plays just as important part as the 4th house does. It’s creative potential. So if you can express your emotions through the 4th house, you need to creatively use them in the 5th house. Some of the best musicians have the 5th house prominent in their chart.
Pulling away from houses now… I want make a quick note about the blessing of how having a good balance of all the elements in a chart really can help a musician. Fire = passion/drive, Earth = rhythm, Air = intellect/skill, and Water = emotion. Obviously not all musicians have it all, but it really helps to have a good balance of them all.
Good placements for singers/musicians
-Venus in the 2nd or 5th house-Venus in its ruler or exalted sign-Venus in conjunction with the ascendant or midheaven-Venus having harmonious aspects to the ascendant or midheaven-Venus, Moon, and/or Neptune is prominent in the chart-Moon is not afflicted-Moon in Libra or Taurus-Stelliums in Libra, Taurus, 2nd House, or 5th House-Good aspects between Sun, Moon, Venus, and Neptune.-Good as aspects/placements in the 3rd house (will help indicate if there’s ability to play instruments)-Quintiles and biquintiles can show hidden talent. See if there are any between Venus, Mercury, Moon, or Neptune. Not so good placements
-Any afflictions to Venus or planets that sit in Taurus/Libra/2nd/5th can cancel out singing ability.-Any afflictions to the Mercury or planets that sit in the 3rd house or Gemini can make learning musical instruments difficult.

Voices by Astrology
I would check Mercury & Rising for this post!
Aries speaks loudly, even if they don’t mean to. Their voice probably won’t be particularly high or low. The more excited they get, the faster they speak. It’s peppered with their current favourite slang.
Taurus speaks slowly and carefully, because they know that every word matters. Their voice is usually on the low side, and they try to be quiet. There will probably be a rich, full quality to their voice - almost melodic.
Gemini just speaks whenever they can! They’re fast, but only loud when they have to be. Their voice may have a nasal aspect to it. It will probably tend towards the higher octaves, especially when thy’re excited.
Cancer tries to be quiet, and when they do speak, their voice is usually either markedly low or high. There is a sweet, mild quality to their voice. They try to speak slowly unless they’re particularly worried.
Leo speaks in a mid-range voice, which is often rich or loud. They’re good at projecting their voice, and each word comes from the chest rather than the nose or throat. They can speak quickly, but their voice is always clear.
Virgo has a voice that is usually very feminine and soft, but can on occasion have a nasal quality. They tend to speak quite fast and their voice may be high or thin, especially when they are anxious. It won’t usually be particularly loud.
Libra may have a beautiful, melodic or feminine voice. It tends to be high, but not in a screechy or unpleasant way. They speak clearly, slowly, and quietly, and they are always exceedingly polite.
Scorpio speaks relatively quietly most of the time, but they can snap when they’re annoyed. Their voice is relatively middle of the range in most aspects, and can have a dry quality to it. They speak from the chest.
Sagittarius will often speak fast, high or loud in an attempt to get all of the words out. However, their voice becomes slightly quieter and lower when they have something important to say. It’s very rich.
Capricorn can either speak very quickly, or very slowly. Their voice tends to be dry. It’s neither quiet or loud, but they will raise it when they’re trying to make a point. It is very likely to be tinged with sarcastic statements.
Aquarius knows when they need to raise their voice, and their speech is laden with humour, dryness and sarcasm. Their voice will be mid range and they may speak quickly, though not in an anxious way. It could be nasal.
Pisces speaks in an airy, dreamy tone, and although they often spend ages thinking of the word, their voice can suddenly become very fast, too. It may be high or feminine but is generally not nasal in any way.
