How fast does Akita grow?

Because she is not human, she is her own lump of meat, I thought she would have a relatively rapid development, growing her actual appearance in a couple of Months/ years (which looks about 10-12 human years for me).

She actually ages similarly to a human. Her body consumes organic matter and adds it her own, it is just a slow process. She must also consciously add features to her body not in her genes (extra eyes, tail). I depict her around 15 years old, Colt would be 17, and Chloe 18 (possibly younger, not sure). She is not done with growing yet, and an adult Akita would look differently.

Also, this means she can eat your offering.

Since Uzi’s traumatized from akitas “birth” is she more likely to have panic attacks or some type of trauma related episodes? And if she does how bad would they be? does N help her or does he leave her alone?

Yeah it's a huge problem for her. It's not just Akita, it's the fact that she's been used against her will for things before (Solver possession in general), so this awakens some deep-seated trauma for her. Her body not being under her control is understandably something that triggers her. The parasite infection that gives us Akita is kind-of demanding on her, and it was overall an unpleasant and traumatic experience. I depicted her having a panic attack before. It's not an unusual thing for her when dealing with Akita. N helps, but he can only do so much.

However, it's not like Uzi wants to be a bad mom. She's caught in the dangerous intersection of having a kid with mental associations that trigger her. She's doing her best, but its a little obvious that she can't give it her all.

I think a lot of you had a vastly different idea of what I meant when I originally said that Uzi was "pregnant" with Akita.

Yeahhhhhh so like Uzi thinks anything relating to the parasite infection is just her breaking her body (because it has given her cravings to eat and that's obviously a problem right now)

(Though as with everything else, this might not be how things play exactly once we get there in the fic)

Listen I love fankids and I love character design! Unfortunately I have no plans of making any fankids for these two in actual Finders Keepers canon because like...literally no way to do it they're too different biologically. So I adapted some instead! These are the only people I follow with fankids I think, but it's enough to make a decent spectrum as far as which parent they pull from. A few colors here n there have been adjusted just to make them look more related to my versions (super vibrant stuff makes them look like sparkledogs with how my designs work aksdjfhaskhf sorry Nyx specifically ily I promise).

This is an unrelated topic but... Do you have any pointers for a fellow comic arthritis that wants to post their series on Kofi mainly how do you post it's mostly i want to keep my series in one place so it's easy to access.

Let me know if you have any advice. Please and thank you.

I would instead suggest posting your comics to Tapas or Webtoon if you want to build an audience. I also post my comics to my personal website (Solved Absolutely, Haunting Down Our Past) for portfolio reasons and archiving.

Akita looks like an Imp from Helluva boss. You can't change my mind on this.

I will actually, I have a new take on her design that I think will make her more unmistakably MD than anything else. Not TOO much different than her current design, but there's MD design quirks I'm accounting for more going forward.

Actually really funny that people keep comparing her to imps from that show in particular because my brain personally has been comparing her to Satina. I blame the similar family dynamic lol.

At some point, on both fics.

For the parent au, I have a lot of it written out already, but life is getting in the way. It's a Vizzy chapter actually, but Uzi and N show up a few times. Also episode 7 naturally threw a wrench into things so I'm wondering if I should rewrite and replan some plot points coming up.

Up and Out I haven't made progress on in a while, but I'm actually regaining some motivation to continue it. I need to do a plot outline on it badly.

There's a secret little thing I'm working on too but idk if it'll be finished.
