WHAT ALL OF THE DADS WOULD GET AMANDA FOR CHRISTMAS. Or alternatively what Amanda would get all the freakin dads because that’s adorable. Ps you’re good

Robert: Amanda didn’t expect anything from Robert. She was surprised to see a present from him. He joked around when she acted surprised. “What do you take me for, kid?” Amanda just laughs and rips open the gift. In the box, there was a leather jacket and a few pins shaped like cameras. There was also a piece of wood whittled into the shape of a camera She gasped and had a huge smile on her face.

“Thought it could be a switch out for your bomber jacket every now and then.” He said with a very very slight smile on his face. Amanda tackled him in a huge and they almost fell over.

Robert was also surprised to receive something from Amanda. She mocked his “what do you take me for?” Comment a shoved the present into his lap. He rolled his eyes and opened it up. He froze for a bit when he saw it. His face unreadable. The present was one framed picture that Amanda took of Robert and his dog when he wasn’t paying attention. Along with a few other polaroid pictures of his dog. After a minute. Robert looked up and gave Amanda a slight smile. “I’ve taught you to sneak around well.” He said with a small chuckle. “Thanks, kid.” Amanda sighed in relief and hugged Robert again.

Mat: Mat thought for a long time on what to get Amanda. Definitely overthought. He didn’t want to get something she already had or didn’t like. Dadsona tried to tell him she really appreciates anything but Mat still stressed on it regardless. When the day came he sat anxiously as Amanda ripped open the gift. She gasped when she saw a record player and a vinyl record of Neutral Milk Hotel.

“Ah I-I thought to have a record player in your dorm would be a good addition. I didn’t know if you listened to Neutral Milk Hotel but they seem like something you would like. If you don’t we can go down to the record store and-” Mat started rambling but Amanda soon stopped him “I love this! Thank you so so so much, Dad.” She said and hugged him gently. Mat sighed and hugged her back.

Mat thanked Amanda before he even opened it. In it held a few flower crowns. He chuckled and put one on. Under the flower crowns, there was a big blown up picture of Dadsona and Mat. The two were smiling brightly in the picture. Mat looked at it in amazement and asked if she took it. She nodded “I was going to get you a record but I’m pretty damn sure you own every record on earth and this is one of the best pictures I have of my dads. I thought you deserved to have it as well.” Mat started crying.

Damien: He smiled at Amanda as he gently handed her his gift. Damien was very proud of the gift he got. It was a bit expensive he had to admit but he was confident Amanda would love it. She excitedly ripped off the paper and opened the box. She let out a loud and audible gasp. Damien chuckled a bit. She pulled out a Victorian style journal. He flipped through it. The pages were blank and full of potential. She looked up at Damien. He smiled “I thought maybe you could document your college experience. But you may use it any way you wish, darling. There is one more thing.” She looked back in the box and reached for the thing in the box. She pulled out a wax seal stamp. When she looks at the stamp she gasped again. It was customized to look like a camera. She was lost for words. She threw herself onto Damien, hugging him tightly.

“ I don’t think I can top that but I can try.” Amanda chuckled. Damien assured her he’d love it no matter what. She handed him a very large wrapped gift. He gently took off the paper to reveal a beautiful oil painting of the four of them (Lucien, Amanda, dadsona, Damien) Damien stared in aw. “My roommate is a painter. I remember seeing your oil painting and they were all so serious and we weren’t together. I know that’s a Victorian thing but I wanted to give you something more lively. So she painted one of my favorite pictures of us” She explained. Damien sat there in shock. He felt tears start well in his eyes. “It’s beautiful…Thank you so much, darling.” He said. His voice cracking. Amanda quickly wrapped her arms around him.

Hugo: Thankfully Amanda got over the awkwardness of her old teacher being her new dad. She eventually started getting really close to him and called him dad. Just in time for Christmas too. Hugo was slightly stressed out about what t get her. He didn’t know much about photography. He read up on Photography and was pretty sure he found the perfect thing. He wrapped it up perfectly and gently set it under the tree with a confident smile. When the day came the 4 family members ran downstairs. Well, Amanda ran. They all sat on the floor and took turns opening their gifts. Once Amanda picked up Hugo’s gift he smiled warmly at her. She ripped it open and smiled widely as she saw it. It was a book titled “ In the Company of Women: Inspiration and Advice from over 100 Makers, Artists, and Entrepreneurs” He smiled “I know you’re not much of a reader but I know how much you love photography and you are very active in the woman’s rights movement. I thought you would appreciate it.” He explained. Amanda smiled widely and thanked him many times.

Amanda had no fucking clue what to get him for awhile. She figured he’s read every book known to man. She knew zero about wrestling. She thought about it for awhile. An idea popped into her head. She got dadsona to help her and asked the school if they could take pictures there over the weekend. Hugo’s present was placed in a small box and wrapped. Hugo slowly and carefully ripped the wrapping off. He opened the box and pulled out a bunch of Polaroid pictures. They were all silly pictures of Amanda and dadsona all over the school. Mainly in the class, Amanda had with Hugo. In a few, she held a replica championship belt and made a random pose. All the photos had Hugo laughing. “I know it’s silly but It’s like. Our start. It’s the reason you meet my dad. I wanted to kinda. Go back to the roots I guess.” She said, smiling at him. Hugo smiled back at her. “I love them very much, thank you, Amanda.”

Joseph: He thought long and hard about what to get Amanda. He wanted to get her the perfect gift. After a while of thinking and researching, he had it. Amanda picked his gift after about 3 gifts were opened. She ripped it open excitedly. She pulled out a poster. She tilted her head and opened it up. Her reaction was a gasped. “This is so cool!” She said happily. The poster looked like the blueprint or patient of a camera. It showed the insides of a camera and all its parts. “I’m guessing you like it.” Joseph chuckled. She nodded and wrapped her arms around him in a hug.

Amanda’s gift was really hard to get together but she pulled it off. Somehow. Her gift seemed quite small but it held meaning. Joseph picked up Amanda’s gift gently and unwrapped it. In the box, there were three smaller boxes that looked like they could hold rings. He hummed in curiosity before opening them up. after a minute of examination, he realized and his mouth fell open. “How…How did you? Amanda you..” He was lost for words. The boxes held gold, frankincense, and myrrh. ��The three gifts. How?” He looked up at Amanda. She giggled “It wasn’t easy. Trust me but I thought you’d appreciate it.” Joseph nodded and hugged her gently. Thanking her many times. (For reference. gold, frankincense, and myrrh were what Jesus received. I forgot who gave it to him. Google it.)

Brian: Brian’s job was obviously very different from photography. Yet, he knew everyone could better from having things that make work a bit easier. He gathered up a few things and put them all together. When Amanda opened up her gift she felt happy run through her. It was a camera backback. It had so many places to put everything. “You have no idea how much I needed this!” She said happily. She dug more and found another box labeled ‘emergancy kit’. She opened it up and it held things like need and thread. Film for her camera. Small memory cards. She sighed “Oh my god. This will help me so so much!” She said happily before hugging Brian. He chuckled and hugged her back.

Amanda worked really hard on Brians gift. She had a lot of late nights editing photo’s and putting it all together. She was beyond excited to see Brian’s reaction. Brian quickly ripped open the present. He examined the present and smiled. A book labeled ‘Family adventures’ lied in his lap. He flipped through it and saw many pictures of the four of them. Pictures at the carnival, at mini golf, at the lake. Brian felt tears begin to form as he flipped through. “Thank you, Amanda…This is so thoughtful”

Craig: Craig was way lost. He honestly had no clue what to get Amanda. He didn’t know much about Photography or any of the music she listened to. He went to the twins for help. They hummed before jumping up and running to the computer. Thankfully everything was delivered in time. He wrapped them to his best ability and placed it under the tree. Dadsona reassured him that she’ll love it but he was still nervous. Once the gift was in Amanda’s hand Craig felt a lot of anxiety. She ripped it open and pulled out the items. It held a headband that had camera’s on it. A shirty the had a beautiful drawing of a polaroid on it. Black jeans with a few rips in it. A black bomber jacket and Doc Martine’s. Amanda looked at it in aw. “So…uh. Do you like it?” Craig asked.Amanda suddenly threw herself at him and hugged him. “I love it!” After a few minutes of hugging, she ran to the bathroom and put it all on. Thankfully it all fit her great. She smiled happily. “I love this so much!” She said happily. Craig sighed in relief.

“I know nothing about anything athletic,” she said and threw herself onto the bed. She groaned as she tried to think of something for him. Then an idea popped into her mind. She grabbed her phone and texted a few of her friends. Soon they all had it together. She wrapped up a CD and hummed happily. When Craig opened it he looked at Amanda a little confused. “Play it,” She said. Craig tilted his head about but eventually put it in. On the Tv popped up a few of Amanda’s friends. They all waved. “Hi, Amanda’s dad! She told us she wanted to make a funny video for you. She told us all the stupid things you did in college. We’re going to reenact them and hope we don’t die.” One friend said. Then a friend in the back shouted. “role clips!” Then a long series of videos played where the five of them, including Amanda, reenacted all the stupid stories. Craig was crying he was laughing so hard. Dadsona was laughing too. The end of the video was a bunch of clips of all the girls trying to do a handstand on a keg and failing horribly. Then Amanda was on screen. She smiled and said “Merry Christmas, Dad!” And the video ended. After Craig calmed down he walked over to Amanda and hugged her. “Thank you, Bro. That was Amazing!”
