Yes nonnie, Westeros is plagued with classism and sexism. Why aren’t you making post about it, if it bothers you so much? Shame all houses who show disdain for women and subject them to rape and sex based violence, instead of only bringing up the issue when I bring up Targaryens.

In addition to all the classism and sexism shown by Westerosi nobility, you should add the exceptionalism, entitlement and incest practices that Targs subject women too, including the marriage of too young princesses such as Daella, Aemma, Rhaella, Daenerys, Helaena, Naerys, etc. Westeros may be bad, but Targs are worse.

Alicent is indisputably a major character (even Team Voids can't go that far in denial lol), and if Sansa has so many parallels with her, it's safe to say Sansa bears importance as a character, too.

Targies are offended by Sansa fans finding any commonalities between her and anyone who isn't an abuser or rapist. They push so hard for her to be Cersei Jr or Girl-Petyr or Lysa 2.0 to ignore the parallels she shares with objectively more heroic or morally upright characters like Ned, Cat, Elia, Jon, etc. A lot of them actually hated or still do hate Cat and STILL have hissy fits when they see Sansa-Cat parallels lol. They know we compare Alicent to Sansa not only because they share things in common but because most of us like Alicent, and they get very 😡😡😡 when Sansa fans enjoy anything.

Nothing they do is logical, it's all an obsessive reactionary attitude toward Sansa. Very chronically online.

The Bully Sansa fanon narrative is hilarious. Sansa is a sheltered, sweet, religious bookworm and teacher's pet who dreams of a fairy tale wedding, writes poetry, and would probably write her own fanfiction in a modern AU. Her idea of rebellion is stealing extra dessert after dinner.

Omg I can’t even 😭😭😭 Sansa hated Daenerys not because she was a woman or a queen or whatever. She would’ve hated Viserys or Aegon too if they were the ones trying to ‘conquer’ her home. She hated Roose, Ramsay, Joffrey and Littlefinger, all men trying to take her birthright. To say she should bend the knee to Daenerys just because she has a vagina is sexist, and stupid. After all, Sansa met Cersei and knows that a woman in power can be as ruthless and cruel as a man.

In the later seasons of got she is (and later on asoiaf she will) a core believer of northern independence who wouldn’t settle for any unionist ruler, male or female. It reminds me a bit of The troubles in Northern Ireland (the north, duh!) happening when George was planning the saga, but I’m not very informed on those events. If someone is from Ireland/UK and would care to tell me more about it, I would be very grateful :)✨

It’s so awful that Targ Stan’s can’t even fathom that a woman can have an agency that goes deep into politics and isn’t just ‘Yasss queen! Women in power! Burn them all!’. Also, do they realize that Sansa ended up as a queen in her own right and married to no one?

It's cute how the only daughter Sansa thinks of having, it's not one like her, but one that looks like her sister.

For Sansa her future children are not hers, they are from the family she lost and misses.

It's also like she could bring her siblings back, all in the thought of a 12-year-old girl.

Dany stans really need to stop comparing her invading and conquering the Six Kingdoms and the North to Sansa and Jon reclaiming Winterfell.

Winterfell is Sansa and Jon’s home. They grew up there. It was taken from them by Theon and the Boltons unlawfully, through betrayal and cruelty. They have every right to take it back.

Daenerys has never even been on mainland Westeros. She spent all of one day on Dragonstone as a newborn. She has no emotional connection to any of the Six Kingdoms or the North and she has no right to any of them. Her family lost any rights they had when her father decided to burn his own lords.

One is two people reclaiming their home from invaders. The other is someone invading other people’s lands.
