-Of course Daisy and Inhumans are the ones being blamed for Eli's crime...I'm not surprised but I'm still pissed off

-I've missed yoyo and her super-speed.

-mmm I have missed the Daisy+FitzSimmons scenes. They were so innocent in season 1 and now they are all grown up

-I love the idea of Daisy's power being able to predict earthquakes. Her power is so versatile.

-i feel like the bad guy motive of Eli is kinda weak. He's just...on a power trip? Or maybe very influenced by the book.

-Love the fact that Daisy can absorb earthquakes. That is so impressive to see

-I love Yoyo. I feel like her power scenes are all super badass

-I still haven't figured out the director's inhuman power. I thought inhuman power is more complicated than just super strength?

-OMG I love this scene of Daisy flying super high in the air. Just how cool is that. Daisy basically has the potential of learning to fly

-Mmmm I have to admit that the director is a good politician who can lie well. Does this mean Daisy is gonna be back to shield?

-waiiiiitttt Coulson's line is basically saying to Daisy's face that she should be the next director??? basically??? with all that "next face of shield should be an inhuman" talk

-Is this foreshadowing for Daisy to become the director in the future?

-I would be so excited if that happens

-Mack and yoyo's kiss is pretty hot

-"turtleman" is such a cute nickname

-mmm I feel like Radcliff wouldn't want to just surrender the Aida project.

-Holyfuck Aida just killed this guy ugghhh I knew that this is gonna go wrong but...why would she just... kill this guy? Just because she doesn't want to be controlled by shield?

-Why is May here???? I thought May was celebrating with the team at the base?? wtf? How did Aida kidnap May?

-but omfg why is May so freaking hot. She's just sitting there being passed out and somehow she's so hot.

-It's nice to see this scene between Jemma and Daisy. I still kinda wish they have a ship. Maybe a friendship but still. It is nice to see them talk to each other

-Idk about this conversation between the director and Daisy. I can understand his reasoning logically. But emotionally I still don't like him lol

-omg is this the episode where Aida goes crazy because I thought for sure it's gonna be dragged out more than this

-lmaoooo I laughed way too hard at Daisy's line "Simmons have been kidnapped three times but only two on this planet"

-Daisy said it so casually and the pure terror on the new director's face lmao

-This senator is gonna kill her own brother? even if she didn't do it in the end she's still pretty crazy for threatening it

-Oh fuck May has a doubleganger Andriod twin. Should have thought of that. Everything suddenly makes a lot of sense

-This ethics debate between Fitz and Radcliff is making my head hurt

-If base-May is just a robot how come she knows all of May's memory???

-The way Mack cut off Aida's head was pretty epic lol

-omfg this senator really just shot her brother. The anti-Inhuman hate in her is REAL. I feel bad for her brother. He seems like a good guy.

-Righttttt. Radcliff is the bad guy and Aida is still alive. They make interesting villains. I would say better villains than Hive.

-It's a shame that I don't have time for more episodes but season 4 is getting more and more interesting the more that I watch

Agents of SHIELD S4E05-S4E07 reaction

It's been a few days so I don't really remember much what was happening lol so I watched episode 4 again

Had to say regardless of everything, FitzSimmons looking to move in together is cute. Also that conversation between May and Aida is hilarious to watch

Agents of SHIELD S4E05

-It actually makes sense that Simmons would be mad at Fitz lol

-I feel like Fitz shouldn't have kept the Aida project hidden because it clearly will go wrong......

-just last episode FitzSimmons were moving in together and it was so sweet and now they are fighting again I feel sad

-Daisy's power is kinda inconsistent tbh. in season 2 she can create a whole avalanche and now she can be crippled for life by her own power which just... doesn't make a whole lot of sense

-I can hear May say "stop whining" a hundred times and I wouldn't be bored because that's very hot for some reason

-Have to admit the Ghost Rider is handsome when he was ghostbusting

-Ughh this anti-inhuman woman senator is sooo annoying I cannot

-The new director really is a representation of politicians lol the way he changes Simmons' words is so hilarious to watch. That's basically this show's way of throwing dirt at the politicians and I'm not even mad at the new director

-This fight in the prison cafeteria is so epic omg

-It's possibly my favorite fight after that fight where Skye went to save Lincoln in season 2

-Daisy is so hot omfg

-I didn't see this coming. This new director is inhuman?

-Did I hear that right, May saw Coulson after she's dead?? Is this the season where I finally get the May+Coulson romance because I'd buy it

-Man I love that May and Coulson are Daisy's mom and dad figure and they came back for her

-I mean that's interesting setting and all but what is this show with "I'm dead" "I'm alive again" thing. It happened to Coulson and then May and now Robbie

-The way the Ghost rider breaks out of the containment module was super impressive

-If Robbie dies, and Mack becomes the new Ghost Rider, then that will certainly make Mack a more interesting character lol

-Who is this dude Simmons is helping that's so secretive?

-Robbie basically built his car and Fitz basically built Aida. I guess that's why Robbie can influence the car and why Fitz can influence Aida

-yeahh...I've been wondering how Aida could go wrong because it so clearly was gonna go wrong. seems like letting her read the book is the thing that will make it go wrong

-Because even though Aida saved Coulson and Fitz I wonder what Aida will become after all this

-because 10 minutes in and I already got more and more and more frustrated with the writing that I didn't bother to write down anything as a reaction.

-I love that Jemma took care of Daisy and helped her. I do. But does she have to be sarcastic and mocking all the time? ugghh. I don't know how to describe this feeling but i'll try

-All through seasons 1 and 2 we, as viewers, without a doubt are mainly following Skye/Daisy's perspective. right?

-now I've gotten used to it. Following Daisy's perspective. I do that naturally now

-And from her perspective, her life sucks so very much. A literal bug/parasite dug a hole in her brain. She was brainwashed to hurt everyone she's ever cared about. She lost Lincoln in a tragic way. She was also going through withdrawal like an addict would.

-I feel like if I, as a viewer, who only see snippets of her life can see that. Jemma, Fitz, all these people from shield could see why she's messed up and depressed and just overall not well

-just maybe a shred of empathy and they'll know not to yell at her

-Even if it's not a family member/friend. I would never yell at anyone who's depressed and suicidal so that they know they are making the wrong decisions. Because chances are: they are the ones feeling the repercussion the keenest.

-Just like how Daisy is the only one who knows how much her broken arms are hurting

-She does not need tough love to tell her she's in a bad shape. She knows that already

-Also can we talk about the fact that this girl in her very messed up state:

made it her personal mission to help inhumans

went far on the watchdog case that she knew the watchdogs have the inhuman index (same page as shield, a massive organization for god's sake, who didn't protect this inhuman information well)

Gave this valuable information to Jemma(who doesn't know this, even though mack/yoyo/coulson/fitz already knew this information from the last episode and Jemma has higher-level clearance than all four of them)

stayed ahead of shield on the ghost rider case

is a sweet friend by offering Jemma a very hard to find, perfect apartment tailored for her

even considered the fact that this apartment is rent-controlled

verbally supported the FitzSimmons relationship

figured out that James was involved in the index being leaked situation before shield (Coulson only got there because James' bracelet was cut off)

Broke every bone in her arms to save Jemma from the watchdogs

-all in all, managed to be an extremely useful agent/asset in the field and a good friend on a personal level

-Only got yelled at in her face by Mack/Fitz/Jemma/Coulson so far

-I mean I know Jemma and Coulson means well. but why do I feel hurt for Daisy.

-just a more patient tone and everything would be so sweet and so heartwarming

-Not these absolutely nonsense lines:

-"We did everything we could for him, but like yourself, it seemed he couldn't get away from us fast enough"

-"suck it up"

-"What is wrong with you?"

-"You've chosen to walk your brooding path. Don't drag him down with you"

-"I know you two like to work alone settling the scores that are personal to you but that's not how we work here at shield" by Coulson out of all people to DAISY? what did Daisy ever do that was "settling the scores" that are personal to her? Have I missed something? I thought she was helping people?

-Can the writers stop

-I would say they did a good job showing Daisy struggling. That bit is better than brushing everything over

-But the writers are basically shaming Daisy for having depression and that's just not ok

-It's just not

-My favorite line of this episode is: "whoever is running the terrible ideas division is crushing it" and I would like to send this to whoever wrote shield so incompetent this season and whoever wrote all of the terrible lines mentioned above.

-Okay. why is Daisy dressing up in such a hot way??

-Like Ma'am that is...wow... Never thought one day I'd get a Daisy's peach's close up shot but I'm not complaining because.......

-Now why would Daisy pick a fight with Ghost rider when she's clearly injured and had been beaten by him once already???

-My girl really is suicidal even though the fight was kinda cool

-Welp I wonder why is shield not chasing this ghost rider dude like Daisy is. How is Daisy so far ahead of shield in terms of this ghost rider case

-Like 1. they literally got to the lab around the same time 2. shield has no idea of ghost rider while Daisy tracked down the real person behind the ghost rider. I thought shield specialize in dealing with enhanced human?

-wtf happened to Fitz???what does he mean Daisy's turned her back on shield? Fitz-Skye friendship was so precious in season 1 and 2???I don't see anyway Fitz would be angry at a traumatized Skye in season 1 or 2?

-If I remember correctly Fitz at the beginning of last season also was running away on his own secret mission and not paying attention to shield tasks at all??

-I mean... yeah I guess she's hanging out with a murderer burning man and it's maybe not a good image but still... geez can Mack and Fitz stop berating/yelling at Daisy

-I also can't imagine Daisy would want for this new bureaucratic shield to tag her and monitor her like they did to yoyo. If she just left shield and stopped being an agent that's like resigning a job.

-Homegirl is suicidal and depressed yet she's still trying to do good by going after these inhuman haters and protecting inhumans like... If they can't just leave her be at least don't yell at her face

My Agents of shield season 3 mumble jumble

I just finished the season 3 finale and boyyyyy am I emotional right about now. (Possibly because I binged 5 episodes all at once and thoughts are jumbled

Be prepared I'm sensing this is gonna be a long rant

Just like the season 2 rant Imma divide this into two parts and ramble it through each part

(sidenote: this is my first time watching this show so If you want to see my reactions to previous seasons you can find those thoughts here and please no spoilers. I started this account that I don't really use to stop Tumblr spoiling me based on the tags that I used lol)

Plot

Welp. Where do I even start

I think it is a pretty good season. Better than season 1, not as strong as season 2.

I also like the latter half of the season where they fight Hive more than the first half.

The reason behind my criticism of the first half of this season is that it is trying to do TOO many things all at the same time while simultaneously moving too slowly too.

Let's see. The first ten episodes of this season had the following main storylines:

-A massive amount of people are turning into Inhumans and they are creating chaos

-ATCU is targeting Inhumans, especially Lincoln

-A new "monster", later revealed as Andrew/Lush, is hunting Inhumans as well

-Fitz saving Simmons from an alien planet/ that FitzSimmons and Will love triangle

-Hunter and May trying to take down Ward for Bobbi

After having finished this season, I can see the way these stories intertwine with each other. It is pretty great. I think the writers did a very good job with how the mysteries thrown at viewers were all resolved.

But when watching it for the first time, I felt like new questions kept coming up and the main characters were all over the place following different plotlines. It was easy to be confused as to what's the point of everything and how does everything connect together?

Especially when it's trying to tell this many stories all at once, somehow this show slowed down the pace so suddenly to give Simmons a whole episode solely to talk about her time on an alien planet pining for one man and falling in love for another.

Like the pace was really fast and suddenly slowed down then picked up the pace again.

When season 2 was finished I was pretty excited about the potential of a lot of new inhuman capabilities in season 3, because fish is a common enough thing that a potentially huge amount of people could get powers overnight.

But I guess in season 3 we only get Andrew(who wasn't turned into an Inhuman because of fish oil), yoyo, joey, and some minor side characters. After Rosalind died and Hive was introduced, this spread of inhuman incidents' influence seemed to have hit the stop button and never surfaced again.

Wasn't this introduced as a massive global outbreak in the first episode? Why is it that the shield team has stopped showing up to newly turned Inhumans like they did for Joey? Why is it that Hive wasn't capable of finding hundreds of Inhumans to work for him under his sway?

At his peak, Hive had like 4 Inhumans under his sway(Daisy, multiplying woman, telekinesis guy, fire-throwing guy), and...honestly, I had to lol at that pathetic low number(I know Andrew killed some but like, they can do better with that number. There is no way anyone can stop the world from eating fish and this is a thing that can't be stopped. Every day there should be new Inhumans lol.

Would have been so cool to see more characters with inhuman powers/see a massive inhuman outbreak more.

The same could be said for Simmons' adventure on another planet and her reaction to it, soooo much potential for a whole other planet. The ATCU's philosophy and the debate of whether Inhumans should be cured could be expanded a lot more to talk about ethics, so a lot of potential there too.

Each thread of plotting could be expanded and explained more because each thread has a lot of potentials, but I guess they needed for the season to move forward quickly and I think it got a bit messy and rushed with the many characters and plotlines introduced.

The latter half of the season focuses a lot more on a singular threat Hive and I feel like I like the latter half more. I'm very sad that Bobbi and Hunter are gone for the latter half but I have to admit after sending these two away, the reduced number of the main cast also helped with the storytelling.

I know I wrote a lot of criticism above but honestly overall I still think this is a strong season and the plot is pretty awesome and I love this show but I've said that amazement enough in my episode to episode reactions lol so I'll shut up and talk about characters instead.

Characters

Daisy Johnson

oh boy do I love her. (Chloe Bennet is so good at acting like oh wow

First of all, I know (from the very kind @agents-of-fangirling in the comments) that Daisy Johnson is a comic book character and that's probably why they've changed her name.

But still, I think it's pretty symbolic.

Skye was a person trying to find meaning in her life. She was homeless, an orphan, who had never had stability in her life, who had no idea who she was or what's her heritage. Skye was very much struggling to balance between her birth family and her shield famly and why does she have powers. It's an orphan's name and it hints at her chaotic life.

After an entire journey in the span of two seasons, Skye had found her heritage, her power, and her parents. Now she was agent Daisy Johnson, her full name comes from her birth parents but very much an agent of shield and a superhero (Before sway. I'll talk about that later lol)

She had gotten over that rookie phase and she was more mature now.

I'm very glad that Daisy Johnson doesn't need anybody to baby her to go into the field and be GOOD at it. She wasn't stuck as a rookie and she's just grown to the point where I feel a sense of security when she's in the field.

Compare that to when in season 1 she can't fight at all and in season 2 she was training under May and fumbling over her powers, this season she'd really feel all grew up.

She leads the inhuman task force, she advocates for inhuman rights. She has accepted her Inhuman identity and knows who she is. She uses her power well and she fights well and she gets things done. She had really started to feel confident and capable. She's just an overall very enjoyable superhero and agent in this season.

(Maybe she didn't hack as much as she used to but I accept the trade between hacking scenes and super hot power/fighting scenes any day)

ALSO did I mention just how gorgeous she is?

AND THEN she got swayed

See, the writers of this show never let any character gets too comfortable with life.

I feel like part of the reason why Daisy after sway is pretty heartbreaking to watch is that she finally seemed happy and content with her life for a bit. She was a leader of a good team of Inhumans, she had a boyfriend who's a massive upgrade from Miles and Ward.

AND hive just went ahead and took all of that away from her.

I feel like that's like her worst nightmare coming true. She truly sees the team as her family. Not only did she personally hurt Fitz and Mack but she also had that vision. She knew someone is gonna die. She knew that time can't be changed.

I truly believed that if she killed someone on the team it will break her but...things are not much better.

She was in so much pain and so addicted to the feeling of hive that she begged hive to take her back, which at the moment is understandable, but she's gonna beat herself up for it for sure later on. hive having Ward's face definitely doesn't help one bit.

I feel like she was even relieved when she thought her helping hive will only result in her own death and not somebody else's.

It's easier on her conscious in a way

AND then Lincoln dies. Lincoln who is the only one that knew she begged Hive to take her back. Lincoln who only said he loves her when he was about to die.

My girl ended this season being suicidal, going through withdrawal, having to face the fact that she harmed the team, having to face the fact that May's ex-husband and probably the only therapist who can help her deal right now died for her, having to face the fact that her boyfriend exploded in space for her with hive who possess Ward's face and being hunted by shield.

I fear for her sanity because I would be on the floor bawling right now if I were her. Life is not treating her well.

I don't know why shield is after her when we end this season but for the love of God somebody please wrap her up in a soft blanket and give the girl some soup and also give her a ton of good therapy.

Phil Coulson

Coulson feels more like a person this season because he is selfish and I meant it in a good way

He was just good in season 1 and 2. He was that generic good boss character with some trauma with being brought back to life and...yeah that's about it

This season though, Coulson fell in love with Rosalind resulting in Rosalind bleeding out in his arms

He hunted down and killed Ward for personal reasons and I liked it because he's more like a human being with flaws lol.

There was one bit of wasted potential for Coulson and that's being an amputee.

I know he struggled a bit with ties and he mentioned phantom pain. But later on, he had cool gadgets on his hand and he just got some more capability being an amputee

I would love to see an episode where he lost his hand and show some real struggle with it because I feel like in this season his struggle as a disabled person got glossed over easily. His disability was even seen as cool with all the extra gadgets on his hand. idk I feel like there are a lot of potentials to be explored there

Melinda May

Man, I don't know why they keep on wasting May's potential

May's arc was basically hunting Ward with Hunter and then some emotional scenes/plots with Andrew/Lush

Other than that...May is basically used as a generic plot driver/field agent

I want her to have some solid arc. like Daisy's brainwashing arc or Simmons' alien planet arc

Give her something of substance please and don't let Andrew's wife confine her like it did in this season

Also I was kinda sad that Lash didn't get to say goodbye to her

Grant Ward/Hive

I hate his face so much

Like seriously, he better be gone for good. He's a pretty good villain for a solid three seasons now and it's time for him to be gone

I loved him as good guy Ward and I still think he's a pretty handsome guy

But uggh the way seeing his face makes me want to punch things

FitzSimmons

FitzSimmons this season got more mature and they finally got together like TOOK THEM LONG ENOUGH(I'm feeling like a proud mother

I am very proud of Fitz that he had gradually overcome his brain damage and he got more daring/courageous this season

I cannot imagine season 1 Fitz facing and successfully tricking a whole mob by himself but he did in this season for Simmons.

He was very much a heroic character in trying to save Simmons through space when he pulled her from the planet

He didn't hold it against Simmons for falling in love with Will and even though he was in love with Simmons he still tried his very best to save Will. That's heroic behavior and just pretty selfless overall. Not a lot of guys will do that.

I'm very glad that he got the girl in the end lol

I feel like Simmons this season had a good arc with the alien planet thing. I was very glad that she got her own episode.

I understand why she would fall for Will and I applaud the writers that they used creativity to introduce a love triangle to FitzSimmons.

I think the reason why FitzSimmons is appealing (at least for me) is that they seem to have this bubble around them, separating them from the outside world. They live in this scientific world where they are the only two who can understand each other and communicate with each other. When they talk to other people, they need to dial their sentences down, use plain language so that others could understand, chose their words carefully to explain. But they don't need to do that with each other

A perfect example comes to mind:

When Fitz was trapped in the hanger with primitive agents

Simmons: "Fitz, Professor idk's compiler theory?"

Fitz:"yes yes do that you saw me do it and you have a good memory"

After Simmons has saved Fitz, Coulson was like "wtf is that"

see, FitzSimmons has this deep understanding of each other and connection that seems so untouchable for anyone else. They don't need to say things carefully so the other will understand and their communication in science is unmatched

I don't think anybody could follow their train of thoughts outside of them, and that's a connection that's unbreakable

I had always thought a third wheeler in FitzSimmons is kinda impossible. The writers managed to use Will to introduce some logical and possible angst to FitzSimmons and I had to applaud them for effort lol

(SEE, it takes separation to an ALIEN planet to introduce plausible angst to FitzSimmons and that's saying something lol)

I hope FitzSimmons have a good vacation in Seychelles and do more than just snorkeling

Lincoln

Oh man I wish he was not dead I'm still emo thinking about it

Last season I said Lincoln felt like a love interest designed for Daisy and somehow that feeling hasn't really gone away this season

He was saved by Daisy, joined shield for Daisy, almost died trying out a vaccine for her, and eventually really died for her.

When his addiction to alcohol was first introduced I thought briefly that the writers wanted to introduce more depth/background to him. But after that sway of Daisy+Hive sway thing I feel like they purposefully introduced it to make Lincoln be the only one who would understand Daisy's addiction to hive

The rest of the team just thought she went to Hive to fight him. Lincoln was the only one who figured out that she was addicted.

I mean it's good that somebody on the team understands Daisy, but I also feel like this shift was a bit contradicting the image when Lincoln was first introduced. He was calm, collected, in control of his power back then. He accepted his inhuman identity perfectly and he was just overall pretty nice and kind. He was also very supportive of Daisy

This season, because the writers are putting this being hunted/addiction arc onto Lincoln, he has gotten more chaotic and his writing got a bit inconsistent

He didn't visit Daisy when she was at her lowest after Hive's sway, but sacrificed and died for Daisy in the end while saying he loves her. If he loves her I guess he'd done for her what Mack has done for her, right?

But all of these things aside, I just wished Lincoln could act more of an Inhuman medical expert for the team. He could have been very valuable but I guess he stayed as a supporting character

I'm gonna miss him. He was pretty handsome. I hope his death doesn't completely break Daisy even though it seems likely

Lance Hunter/Bobbi Morse

They are two of the best characters on this show and I cannot believe they just left like that

But I guess if they had to go, they went out as a couple and as heroes. So I guess spy's goodbye is a good goodbye.

They are like the definition of likable supporting characters who doesn't hog screen time while still being very enjoyable to the show

We never need to have long and deep scenes of them to know their characteristics and that's hard to achieve. I'm gonna miss both of them dearly for sure

Mack

Yay he definitely got more likable in this season! His shotgun axe was pretty awesome and mmm I hope his romance with yoyo works out well

Andrew/Lash

Andrew shouldn't have died

I don't really care about Lash had to die somehow but I do think Lash shouldn't have been Andrew

His character has so much potential

He's a therapist that shield could trust. Just how valuable is that??

This show has so many characters with trauma that's layered with shield secret and every single one of Andrew's therapy scenes is gold for characterization

If Andrew didn't die, he could have helped everyone on the team and I just feel like his connections to Daisy and Simmons and May were kinda abandoned and ruined

I will miss Andrew for sure

ANYWAYS, this is definitely too long of a thing and I had a blast today watching many episodes and finishing season 3.

Imma stop now lol.

-I want Jemma to be her own person and get to properly on-screen miss her other friends. Miss her parents.

-idk give me her background story about her being a kid smarter than half of the adults she came across

-Was she popular/lonely as a kid? background in shield academy? is her life pre shield so boring there is no material worth mentioning there?

-Okay. Is Simmons gonna get together with Will? Because it seems like it and.....

Agents of SHIELD season 2 thoughts

Finally finished with agents of shield season 2 and ahhh I think I'm falling in love with this series. It's definitely a good and strong season. Imma divide my thoughts into two parts and ramble my way through in each part

Plot

I think season 2 has a much stronger plot than season 1

This season's plot revolves around a single character Skye and I don't think there is any question about that. Every plot thread comes back to her and boy do I love it.

It is so common and so standard for a man to be the main protagonist and be in the eye of the storm of a story that things like the Bechdel test exist. (Bechdel test asks whether a story has two named women talk to each other about something other than a man.)

See, it is so ridiculous that whether a story has two named women talk to each other about something other than a man is a question. It was so standard for woman to be the background noise that I was pleasantly surprised that in season 1 Skye seems to be the protagonist that represents the viewer's perspective.

And somehow in season 2 the production and writers make Skye, an canon half-Chinese girl be the focus of the story.

That is a rarely seen breathe of fresh air and I loved every second of it.

I think this season can be roughly broken down into three arcs: the alien writing was actually a 3d city/Skye getting her power and two shield/showdown between inhumans and shield

It is very clever of the writers to layer their story in this way because let's face it, 22 episodes are a LOT for a single story. If they put in too much filler/ irrelavent episodes, the show will feel very tiresome and boring to watch

These arcs were also very much linked and intertwined together. each arc progress into the next seamlessly and I love that very much

It is also very satisfying to see a lot of the questions be answered step by step, and they really tried to give a logical reasoning behind the stroy.

I was pleasantly surprised that the show answered the questions about Coulson's impulsive writing in the early episodes of the season when I thought they'd for sure drag this mystry on and on for many episodes

I was truly invested when Skye gradually discovered and learned to control her powers. The introduction of her parents didn't feel forced and both parents contributed to how the story progressed.

It also answered the question of why is Skye an orphan and why she is an 084 quite nicely

The final arc is probably the most questionable out of the three? Because I still think Skye's mom has some good points and I still think they probably wrote her mom to be more evil than she needs to be to have a intense finale.

Overall I think the plotting of this season is pretty crazy and pretty logical at the same time, which is ideal for a show like this. It keeps the viewers engaged without seems all over the place or have too many loopholes.

The questions that I had after season 1 have all been answered now and that's very satisfying for me

Characters

Skye

She transitioned from the new girl in a big organization to a superhero in this season and I was in awe during the whole process.

Like I said earlier, she for sure is the star of this season. The obelisk and the alien writing plot lead the team to the temple where Skye got her power. The main villian of the first half, Whitehall, was the man who tortured Skye's mom. May's background story was about two inhumans. The alien/Skye related plot made two shield fight each other and the final boss villain of the season is Skye's mom

Almost every plot leads right to her heritage, her powers and her growth.

I really, really love this.

I never got into marvel movies because I've seen fans defending the franchise by claiming things like "half of the mcu movies passed the Bechdel test" and it's a good/positive thing.

But guess what? I don't think that's good enough. Or at least i don't want to settle for movies that focuses solely on male characters

I love myself some strong women characters and Skye is a very good example of that.

At the beginning of the season I was cheering for her sliding down a rope and at the end of the season I think of her as one of the strongest fighter in shield(when she uses her power, of course).

I think the writers make her grow without making it seems abrupt or too sudden. She acquired the ability to fight well during the course of two seasons and I think it's way better than some training montage.

She's gotten more serious in this season. She still cracks jokes, but not as much as before, and I guess she also doesn't hack as much as she used to.

I love hacker Skye but I guess she's got so much on her plate and afterlife doesn't look like a place that has good internet services lol

This season she found her parents, she got a new super power, her two families fought a war against each other. She's went through a lot and I hope she got herself some therapy with May's ex husband lol

May

May's background story was finally introduced in this season and I love that for her.

I was worried after season 1 and the beginning of season 2 that May was going to become blindly loyal to Coulson. I really didn't want her character to revolve around Coulson and it didn't happen and I liked that

May has her own judgement and opinion, which was very much fleshed out in that fight between two shield and the way she pursued the truths when she found out Coulson has lied to her

I do think the writers didn't use her character to its full potential. Partially because they introduced a new character Bobbi who is more or less taking over May's "kick-ass specialist" space

A lot of the things that Bobbi did on screen like some fighting scenes or interrogation scenes would have been perfectly fine if it's May's character too

I hope in season 3 she gets more screen time

Also please get May to fight more. I love kick ass May

Simmons

Simmons really changed a lot this season. I loved her arc of undercovering in Hydra.

I guess I didn't really want her to be so against alien but I understand her reasoning.

I was pretty surprised when she was so ready and planned out to kill Ward, but yeah I don't blame her. She's got good reasons.

I do think it's a shame that in season finale, Simmons's appearances were either to help Bobbi or talk about the FitzSimmons relationship.

How come Simmons didn't have anything to do with the season finale plot when she's supposed to be one of the main character.

Fitz

First of all I want to say that the actor who plays Fitz can act really well. He totally sold the whole brain damaged act. His acting was very on point

Surprisingly tho, this season I enjoyed his friendship with Mack with Skye more than FitzSimmons.

He is the sweetest for helping Skye with her power when everyone else was so afraid.

(sidenote:)I do hope FitzSimmons get together next season. But Simmons is who knows where and I feel like that experience will definitely be used as a plot device to make FitzSimmons angst even more

Coulson

I feel like Coulson is more interesting this season than the last? he's got more layers to him now. He is not just a good boss character.

This season I almost was concerned that he's gonna become crazy.

He dealt with a coup relatively with grace

He got to be the director of a once massive organization and he's got more responsibilities.

Ward

He is a good villain. Gotta give it to him. It is very rare that a fictional character can get under my skin this much like Ward did.

He is a deflecting son of a bitch who always has someone to blame but god damn it he got me frustrated

Bobbi and Hunter

Love them. Badass/Funny supporting characters

I feel like Bobbi is one of my favourites now. She's so cool

Trip

Man I was so sad he died. I love him. He could have been a great ship with Skye. Like I always said, he's a upgraded good guy Ward. He's a good man. I'm gonna miss him

Mack

I guess I didn't pay much attention to him? His friendship with Fitz is nice but he's annoying in that two shield arc. I like him in the last episode and I don't know if he's really quitting shield.

Koenigs

They are adorable lol. Just how many of them are out there? are they clones? robots? what are they?

Cal

Man Cal's actor can act!

His character is soo interesting and fun. He walks the line of black and white.

He is a murderer and killed many people. But somehow I understand his pain and I know he loves Jiaying and Skye very much.

I hope he lives his life in peace as a vet

Jiaying

I think she has solid points about shield

It's a shame that she died, but I guess it's a good thing that she died in the arm of Cal

Lincoln

He's so obviously a tailored love interest for Skye lol

It's nice. Usually in superhero shows, there is a woman character who does nothing but is the love interest of the hero

in agents of shield, it's a single, handsome, doctor man who mostly helps/supports Skye and gets rescued by Skye

It's nice lol

Gordon

No-eyes-man!

I didn't remember his name even after he died lol I googled him for his name

Season 2 finale!!

I'm kinda nervous because I don't see a peaceful way out of this situation
