Opening this by saying everyone is entitled to their own opinion and for those of you who loved Diane’s personality in this episode, that’s awesome! I personally am not a fan of the concept of them being almost the same personality wise. I always kind of pictured her as more of a soft personality that kind of balanced him out. So I was a little disappointed to find she’s more cynical than I thought. If I do comics in the future I’m still gonna portray her as a cute, little sweet dope. I realize some people find that cliche and boring, but that’s okay. 🥰

Overall, this was an amazing episode and it was interesting to see Morty’s perspective of it all. Rewatching it I noticed Morty lingering in the background of Rick and Diane most of the time, hinting that it was the fear in his mind, rather than Rick’s.

i love diane. i’m a little sad their robot arm meet cute turned out to not be canon (it’s sweet that we saw diane through mortys eyes based on his perception of her) but i think this goes back to a topic that i’ve always felt strongly abt-

i fell in love with diane through some of the amazing rick x diane ship art i’ve seen on here, some people’s diane OCs, general art of her. i don’t think i can write about or in the pov of diane. we don’t know her and i like that we don’t. she reminds rick of summer. maybe she was an artist, or a scientist, or she liked reading or music or makeup or inventing or not. or she liked all of it.

whoever rick loved so deeply, maybe doesn’t have to be someone we know for us to understand that he loves her.
