How to repository clothes using the Repository Wizard (duh)

I wrote a tutorial on how to use the Repository Wizard for clothes. It covers the utility's basic usage, as well as providing some more "advanced" tips and explaining what the program does for you.

Hopefully this can help anyone who's been meaning to give it a try a helping hand to dive in. It's really simple to use, and it can speed up the time spent preparing all the packages, and not just when repositorying stuff (thanks to the Standalone mode).

I should mention that the tutorial was put together before v2.3 which added a small advance feature. Therefore the tutorial won't cover it, but I plan on updating it soon and as often as I can.

ATTN: Just popping by to say that if you are purchasing the new kits today - particularly the Urban Homage kit - be sure to use the creator code "EBONIX" at checkout!

Collab creators do not make any percentage of the revenue after release, they're just paid a flat rate up front, so if you want a little of the proceeds to go to the creator, use code "EBONIX" at checkout (it costs you nothing!!!). Also worth noting that because they had some issues with codes in the app today, creators will apparently receive 10% commission instead of 5% commission the next 48 hrs. I normally don't do this, but please do not download this CC pack. It not only has some of my default hairs which I explicitly asked people not to reupload, but entire 4t2 packs, clothes, mods and what look like bodyshop installations.

I've seen this before but not at this magnitude. I don't know which version of the hair defaults they nabbed, what mods they loaded...

Trying not to be a hater, but with no credit and potentially harmful concoctions of cc, I'd recommend to find the original sources which was predominantly items on LordCrumps.com, @deedee-sims, @mdpthatsme, @tvickiesims, @applewatersugar, @rascalcurious, etc

Have you ever wondered how to paint clothing textures from scratch?

I've been using paid software like Milkshape, Photoshop, and 3D Coat Textura to texture Sims 2 models for years, but I've managed to translate my process to completely free open-source software!

I've broken down the entire process from start to finish for complete beginners (who may never have made a clothing recolour package before), but more experienced CC creators can skip around as needed using the PDF bookmarks.

You don't need a graphics tablet– but you may want one once you've played around with this! :)

The clothing shown on the cover is also downloadable through the document.

Hope this inspires you to make something! :D

4t2 Hearing Aid (a collab with @episims ❤)

For everyone! They're from toddlers to elders, both genders. The left and right sides are separated. They come in the original 15 colors, the left ones are repo'd to the right ones. They have custom icons! (courtesy to Epi - I have no clue how to make them lol) We decided to only put them in the glasses section to avoid it triggering the jewelry turn on/off.

They're morphing so they fit the ears better, but the downside of this is that with weirder ear shapes (like pointy ears), they get quite distorted. Something for something. 🤷‍♀️

Last, but not least, many thanks to @tvickiesims for extracting the files for us ❤

If it looks familiar, that's because I've already showed it like a million years ago, but it was almost completely unfurnished. Now it's finished, I think?

I'm so bad at building and especially at furnishing community lots. I hate doing them, but my sims need somewhere to go out, so I'm trying. I don't know why I'm like this. I love building residential lots. I think maybe it's because I never go out, so I have no clue what things are supposed to look like.

this was requested by @chrissybrown1127, who was struggling to retexture skysims 050, which, like many skysims hairs, does not actually have a gray recolour for elders. so, here is a tutorial for how to make your hair retexture have elders go gray!

it was particularly intended for chrissy, who does struggle with tutorials and prefers visual learning. the hair that i retextured for this can be found here. and for people who struggle to retexture my volatile bases, the process is exactly the same for them as it is for this 🎊
