Just a heads up

I’m not feeling very well due to some family stuff, so I haven’t been for a while (that’s why i haven’t been on). though, i am slowly but surely working on replies and keeping them saved in my drafts so i can place them in to a queue when they’re all done. so there might not be actual stuff for a while. any ic posts tagged with group verse tags are being made quickly cause those things usually need to be done within a time frame. sooo....yeah.

Genji’s voice sounds shockingly emotionless as he speaks. It almost sounds robotic, this fact only enforced by the slight synthetic echo that reverbes in his words. 

“What I have found upon the body is strange. The victim’s face is caved in,and bloody, but there are no other wounds on the skull. The neck has been twisted back, a given, but further than what I would normally expect for this kind of death...It takes a lot of force to twist a head that much.” 

This kind of death. He’s seen it before. 

“There also seem to be no signs of a struggle that includes fighting another person. However, there is something odd. There is dirt underneath the victim’s finger nails, this could be attributed to the fact that he was buried. But there is also the fact that the dirt is loose, only hastily placed and with one hand peeking above the dirt. perhaps it is nothing of importance, but it’s still strange to me.” 

He sighs softly, betraying no emotion. He’s doing his best to hide it. He reported what he knew, he was helping this was...this was to catch a killer. 

“That is all i found. nothing else is out of the ordinary.”

Genji likes soft things. If he’s able to relax for long periods of time (like chilling out at base or the ect.) he will hear some sort of soft and warm hoodie or sweater. If he is alone with someone he trusts a lot he might take off his armor (basically chest area) and mask and helmet and will kinda just snuggle inside of it and read a book or play a videogame. 

He is actually very affectionate when it comes to romance. If you do somehow manage to woo over the cyborg and make him not afraid to show his face he is the sort to nuzzle his lover, hold them, give them soft kisses, and nearly purr if he’s cuddling with his lover and they are giving him affection in return. please give him actual love he’s never been genuinely romantically loved in his life 

His hair is a floof. There isn’t too much of it left and he usually combs it back or it’s under his helmet but his hair is very fluffy. He actually used to have long hair until he was 14. the reason he cut it was cause it was unbearable for him given his type of hair. 

His lights are a little bit like a mood ring with the intensity of their glow. Most times genji can control it but when he’s just spending time with a friend or loved one you can actually see his mood based on those lights. They glow brigther when he smiles or is happy and grow dimmer the more his mood drops.

Hey! Hey you! You like art, right? You like supporting starving art students? Yeah? Well do I have some news for you, friend. I’m in a bit of a pickle right now, as I just lost my job. It didn’t pay well anyway. Which means I’m broke, have about 1 cup of ramen left, and perhaps 3 days of guinea pig food left. 

See, I love my piggies. And my cats. And I love being able to eat. Maybe purchasing luxuries like soap and internet access as well. And not going into diabetic-induced hypoglycemic shocks and comas. Oh! And paying my rent. ANYWAY. While I wait for the local food shelf to maybe help me out a bit, I need a little help! 

You like sales, right? Because boy fuckin’ howdy-dee, do I have a sale of a lifetime going on right now.

Well, this was unfortunate... 

Genji peeked out from the small shelter that he and Hanzo had been able to run to before the storm had rolled in. It was a good thing they had found shelter when they had, any longer and they would’ve been soaked. The rain was pouring down hard, the sound almost deafening. Turning away from the rain Genji looked back to his brother. 

“It seems we will be stuck here for a while, if we don’t wish to get wet.” 

He walked away from the storm and was about to sit when a loud clap of thunder resounded. One loud enough to make the cyborg jolt. He wasn’t scared of storms by any means, but the sound had certainly scared him. He hoped Hanzo hadn’t noticed that.

Genji was taken aback by the young woman’s sudden offer. He was baffled as to why some stranger would give him a place to stay overnight, especially with how outlandish he probably looked. He could understand why some might pity him, thinking he was some omnic that had lost his left arm due to some kind of accident or from human aggressors, but he wasn’t expecting anyone to help him. Though, there was the possibility it could be a trap. 

“You are willing to give shelter to a complete stranger? I could be dangerous, you know.”

Genji walked over to the girl, his hands resting in the pockets of a hoodie that currently hung off of his frame. The lights on his suit were dulled, only faintly glowing through the fabric. 

“Is there a reason you are out so late? If you don’t mind me asking.” 

Perhaps that was a bit intrusive, but a mixture of worry and curiosity was what drove him to speak. If something was wrong, he wished to help. If there wasn’t, then a friendly chat wasn’t anything wrong to have.

Genji wasn’t happy. Behind the mask his scarred lips pulled into a thin line as brows furrowed. He knew that the other was lying to him, that the words they said weren’t the truth. After all, when you were raised in an environment where trusting a liar might cost you your life, you learned the ticks twitches that most people had. Not to mention the tones of a voice.
