my comics dont have a big fandom or anything, which has its pros and cons! (the cons are that i dont have as much money and i am attention starved at ALL times) but sometimes i try to imagine what discourse would happen if it did.. like obviously theres still discourse that still happens!! but it doesn't really develop/last the same way.. i dont think id handle big fandom discourse well, so its probably a good thing it isnt like that. but also i love drama and watching people fight abt my characters would probably be a bit entertaining. like the evil grinch aspect of me wants to see fandom wars.. although i guess its still very hard to imagine FFAK/NRD ever getting like "Big" you know. is that kind of thing still possible for webcomics?? i mean.. i guess??? im sure it happens? i dont know, im just thinkin' out loud. NRD is over 1000 pages long now, and soon NRD/FFAK combined will have over 10k pages. i have technically drawn over 10k pages if you add up ALL my comics.. but like just those two alone will have that many.. and what have i learned as a storyteller? at least one or two things i guess. i cannot be good at all the types of storytelling, but i can create psychosexual slapstick comedy horror dramas that make it difficult to recommend to your friends

The Big Comfy Couch used to give me the most fucked up nightmares as a kid. i would get dragged into the couch and wouldnt be able to leave it

I just want to gush for a moment - I absolutely adore how you write your characters. I just got home from a long vacation and I'm finally catching up on NRD. I might have started ugly crying when Kamila gave Gaueko a hug haha. I can't say I'm dealing with red dogs, or anything as heavy as your characters are going through, especially Kamila - but their struggles are so painfully real, it just feels nice to be seen. Thank you.

aw.. im glad. i never know how much these scenes mean to people, or what ends up connecting or not- but im happy to hear it left some kind of impact on you! originally, i never intended for gaueko and kamila to get so close, but over the years (wow, nrd is going to be 6 in june..) it blended in well with the themes of the story. so im really happy to get to share some of these scenes ive been waiting to draw for a long time now!

feast for a king is awesome the start of it feels like I am being ushered into a theater by kosmic who sits us down and goes "hello everyone! come into the theatre! take a seat! welcome to my web comic!!! ok so heres a character introduction :) they are not the main character :) and heres my different alien species and how they work! some are worms and some are bombs :)) arent they cute and cool and silly!! ok heres a 400 page long sex scene where a girl gets fucked through a stab wound in her chest while giving a genderless worm alien a tit job, then the worm alien (who uses all pronouns) has to perform surgery on her while her dick is still in her chest because if she pulls out the girl will die. the whole time she's still so horny she's trying to bounce on her dick while her stab wounds getting operated on. then they keep on fucking. ..............ok are the normies gone? all of them? ok awesome. now let's do a flashback scene! Get ready for a lot of those :)

im glad more people seem to be reading NRD. Its only 20-25 pages away from reaching page 1000!!! and its nearly completed now, although i still probably have a couple years left of work on it.

#if i didn't work on FFAK at the same time it would probably only take me a year or year and a half to finish #but im taking my time because it can be exhausting lol #but.. we're getting close!!! #nasty red dogs

usually i type up a big thing after finishing a FFAK chapter. I feel like i have a lot of thoughts for this one, but ive been a bit too burnt out to put it together. all i can say is that im glad i managed to finish the first chapter in the second arc. I really dont know how the rest of this arc will go and it will take a long time to make it. Im amazed by readers sticking thru this story as long as they have. I hope it will feel satisfying to read where i take these characters from here, or at least illuminating on the deeper themes of this comic and what it means to me. In the mean time, i am returning to work on NRD and this chapter is also ..very intense to me, emotionally speaking. So it probably will take a while for it really get rolling as I still need to switch gears, but im excited to work on it.. probably for the rest of this year. NRD is much closer to its conclusion of the story and even now, i keep cutting and arranging things to make it more compact. It still will take at least a couple years to get done, i think, but i am in no rush for the experience. But trust me when i say, there's not much left. also happy eclipse! i hope everyone got to see it. i was in the totality zone so it was honestly the most beautiful thing ive seen with my eyes LOL so i am really thankful i got to see it.
