Rebooting this blog
Hey everyone who’s still around! It’s been almost two years since I’ve been on this blog, and looking back through my old threads made me realize I still have my muse.
For my sake I’m going to be taking things slow as I start back up. I will also be dropping all previous threads, since most of my partners have gone away anyway haha. I’m more or less starting from scratch again, although I will be keeping all my verses and headcanons. I will be going through my blog and cleaning out old posts and whatnot as well.
Please like this post if you’re still active! That doesn’t mean we have to start a thread, I just want to know who is still here.

Settling herself and propping the harp up on her knees, she drew her fingers across the strings, considering momentarily what to play, and listening for any strings that would need tuning.
Warp songs were… not a good idea. Neither was the Song of Storms, given the current situation brewing outside.
After a moment or two of thought, her fingers found the opening notes to the Song of Time, beginning to pluck out a haunting countermelody, as she hummed along to the thrumming strings.
The humming that accompanied complemented the tune. Each strum filled the air wistfully, as if there were more to the song than just notes. The dark haired girl found herself slightly swaying in time to the music.
The melody being played seemed... somehow familiar to Hera. She wasn’t quite sure, but it felt like she had heard this song before.
After the last pluck, the last note lingered in the air a moment longer. Hera waited until only the drumming of the rain outside could be heard before she politely applauded and smiled.
“That was a beautiful song. What’s it called?”

hiatus until further notice
I have a feeling this might get long so I'll put it under a read more
So the short story is I don't have any easy access to Internet and it looks like it’ll stay like that for a while so I'm gonna have to go on hiatus until I can find a reliable internet access.
Here's the longer version:
My dad’s gotten into another one of his moods and this time he’s been taking out on all of us, but it’s been going on longer than usual. My mom and I are pretty sure he has undiagnosed bipolar disorder, which leads to his random aggressive outbursts. This time he’s taken away our phones from my brothers and me without any good reason, and he’s given us a limited amount of money for things like food, clothes, cleaning supplies, etc. He’s also threatened to not buy us food when we go on vacation next month for a week and a half, fully aware that he is currently our only source of income since my mom doesn't work and they don't want me to work yet.
Because of this, my anxiety has been making me feel really sick for the past few days and it’s not getting any better. I barely have time to make this post because my dad is enforcing a new security system in the house where he can watch what we do in the main area of the house, and we know he does this. I’m really scared for my brothers, my mom, and myself because no one would really be able to help us anyway, so we’re on our own.
So there you have it. I'll try to set up a queue for a few days but it's gonna be hard. I'll see you guys later

Ellie Goulding  {Sentence Starters}
“But I was hoping you’d see me a different way.”
“I know there’s nothing that I can do to make you stay.”
“You can’t look me in the eyes.”
“I don’t even really know what you intended.”
“I’m trying not to lose my faith in you.”
“I wish I could be it all for you.”
“I’ve figured out that joy is not in your arms.”
“Have you lost the same things I have lost?”
“I don’t like the way I never listen to myself.”
“You’re different from the ones before.”
“And so I tell myself that I’ll be strong.”
“My head’s spinning around. I can’t see clear no more.”
“I know you better than I ever have before.”
“We don’t have to wait ‘til the morning.”
“You move so fast, makes me feel lazy.”
“And you can’t make it right when it’s wrong.”
“It’s a little blurry how the whole thing started.”
“Oh, I don’t think you know me much at all.”
“You left everything behind except yourself.”
“I just need to dance without you.”
“You know this is your biggest mistake.”
“You’re the only thing I wanna touch.”
“I’ll give you everything you need.”
“I’m alone and I know I want out.”

Inclining her head gratefully and shying away from the window again as another thunderclap sounded (it was just a storm, just a storm, just a storm.)
“Th-thank you. I… don’t have much to offer, but maybe I can play for you?”
She dug through her pouch for the harp, producing it and settling it against her knee.
“It’s the least I can offer, for your generosity.”
A musician? Definitely not something Hera had expected, albeit certainly not unwelcome.
A curt nod followed by a soft "Go ahead. Thanks."
In times like this, a break from all the gloom was very much appreciated.

@wisdomsdownfall continued from this
“Of course.”
Hera understood very well that traveling at night in the pouring rain was dangerous, not to mention the roaring thunder that only seemed to increase each passing minute.
Although there wasn’t much space in the building Hera called home, having a guest stay for the night wouldn’t bother her. It might even be a nice change from the usual loneliness of everyday life.
"It's not much, but there's a spare bedroom you can stay in for the night."
'Bedroom' might be pushing it; only an old bed and an unused dresser that was collecting dust could be found inside the room.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask sentence meme
Send one to my muse for their reaction
“You’ve met with a terrible fate, haven’t you?”
“What would we do if you dropped it an
“No way! You can’t touch it!”
“You had a bad dream. You were just having a little nightmare.”
“I’m not doing anything suspicious.. Really!”
“…Why are you looking at me like that? What, is there something stuck on my face?”
“Believe in your strengths…Believe…”
“So, um, that stuff back there… I, um, apologize…”
“Believing in your friends and embracing that belief by forgiving failure… These feelings have vanished from our hearts.”
“What have I been doing this whole time?”
“That song you played for me… my mother used to sing it often… long ago…”
“Take me with you and I’ll help you out. Deal? Please?”
“I am praying that your journey be a safe one…”
“So, uh, it’s nice to meet you or whatever.”
“That’s how life goes, I guess. There are some things in life that you can’t change no matter how hard you try…”
“There’s no one living there anymore, so I moved nearby.”
“Do you want to play with me?”
“Now don’t think me rude, but I have been following you…”
“I thought of a way to get by without eating. I’ll try it tomorrow. I just hope I’m not caught.”
“Why the sad face? I just thought I’d have a little fun with you.”
“What have you done to me?!”
“Bah! Bother! I’m busy!”
“Actually… I know… We’re not safe here, either…”
“I’m begging you! I’m begging you! You must do it!”
“You’re so lucky to have a fairy!”
“Hey, that’s a nice sword you have…Heh, heh…”
“Whether you’re stubborn and will stay and guard your family, or if you’d prefer to run far away and seek shelter… That is for people to decide on their own.”
“Please take refuge. We’re fine with this.”
“Why, to someone like you, it should by no means be a difficult task.”
“Friends are a nice thing to have. Aren’t they?”
“That looks like an expensive mask.”
“Actually, when I see you, I am reminded of my son who left home long ago…”
“Are you… staying the night?”
