How the actual hell did you become so good at art, I'm filled with envy😭
As with most artists, the skill I currently possess is from years of practicing and studying, so it is truly a goal achievable by all.
Online spaces can make the journey more challenging, I think, it’s really important to study your contemporaries as well as old masters, but of course that also comes with comparing yourself to them. Usually for self esteem reasons you might be advised not to compare yourself to them but I’d say do it actually, find the differences between your art and the art you aspire to draw (which should be multiple sources), and study the individual elements to make up the difference. Look at the art you admire and try to articulate why you like it, the colours, composition, shading, proportions? Finding your style is a culmination of you being able to define what you like and committing it to an image.
There is value in every visual medium you study, be it painting, pencil, digital, sculpture, even writing. The goal of art is to communicate something, and any practice you do will make you more equipped to communicate.
