hi! i saw on ur wc blog that ur more active on this one, so apologies if this is the wrong place to ask. i saw one of your warrior cats drawings and wanted to use it as an icon, but wanted to make sure it's okay with you first. i'll provide credit aswell

I check both my blogs (I just tend to post mostly elder scrolls if at all) so either blog is fine for sending asks to For the question I'm ok with my art being used as icons with credit! As long as it isn't OC art (as my ocs are pretty personal to me) and is a canon character/fanart/design etc.

“Brambleclaw and hawkfrost were a case of mental manipulation” and starclan pressuring squirrelflight into taking in the kits and telling her she was infertile wasn’t??

This isn’t a black and white situation — should she of lied about the kits heritage? No, but you also need to consider the social climate she was in at the time.

Not only were they halfclan, they were a medicine cat’s kits. It was still very recent in the clans memory that cats were being executed for being half-clan, not to mention one of the leaders complicit in the executions was still around and in charge. She was friends with Feathertail and Stormfur, two of the cats that almost got executed. Even when the truth was revealed leafpool was still demoted and punishe. What would of happened if they were still kits? I think in that situation lying about the three’s parentage is the much lesser evil versus the potential that the kits could potentially get exiled or worse.

Could she be certain something terrible like that was going to happen? No — but the potential was still there. Also im pretty sure even the three were recognising he was being extraordinarily spiteful about what happened. He’s allowed to be upset but the issue is he was excessively so.

I don’t understand why people get angry at Squirrelflight for not telling Brambleclaw the kits weren’t his when ultimately it was LEAFPOOL’S DECISION. And she didn’t want to tell him, for kind of obvious reasons given the fact that she saw him training in cat hell with his father who famously executed half-Clan cats. Sure he went against his father by killing Hawkfrost and saving Firestar but she still didn’t really trust him.

Lying about the kits being his is shitty but so is immediately disowning the children you raised to adults lmao.

Really surprised it has to be said but don’t go harassing map hosts and animators because a map part got replaced

Many maps tend to have rules mentioning that poor behavior outside the map project can get participants kicked — map hosts are not obligated to use a person’s part just because they completed it.

When they joined that map they read those rules and agreed to them. If they end up kicked for poor behavior the only person at fault is themselves. Not the animator who gets the reassigned part, and certainly not the host for putting their foot down and having boundaries. Actions have consequences — your favourite animators are not exempt from this and directing your anger at others because they got kicked for their own behavior is immature and pathetic

what brushes do you use i must know

For soft shading/details I use the spectra brush and for hard details/shading (coat patterns etc) I use the Funny Haha brush from the Funny Inka set (not with base procreate as its part of a custom brush pack and needs to be downloaded)

For colour blocking I use the syrup brush and either the Inka or Funny Haha brush for lineart

I switch between the funny haha and the inka brush for lineart depending on the effect I want, I use Inka for more complex works as imo its easier to create desirable crosshatching with it. For my warrior cat art I prefer the Funny Haha brush — crosshatching tends to muddle the fur for me so I lean towards a simpler style for warriors fanart

(I don’t have many recent examples of me using the Inka brush on warriors art sorry)

For miscellaneous details n such I use one of three: The wedgetail, Superbrush (belongs to the Tuhis set 2020 custom brush set) or the GvW Elder 3.0 (from the GvW ink set) — the latter two are not from base procreate

For anything with glow I’ll usually use the medium hard airbrush (not always but this is my preferred brush) and potentially some gaussian blur (in moderation)
