TIDM - Things I Do For Money 13
Currently, we’ve all started Spiraling into a state of emergency all over our country due to the crisis involving Covid-19. Many people are out of work, and if not out of work, their pay is being furloughed to 80%. Personally, my wife has actually lost a ton of her jobs in entertainment to the crisis. I myself may end up with a 10% pay cut so as to protect the integrity of our company. So we’re all feeling it. Because of that, we have to find spaces where we can grab money where we can out of the system and out of companies that have stockpiles of cash so that we can keep the great beast that is the economy moving.
On my end of things, I’m moving towards writing 3 more books so I can pull what money I can out of the great beast that is Amazon in the form of Royalties for my work in addition to whatever sales I can get from these books after publishing them. That’s one way I can start to have passive income that comes in because I’ll publish all the ways I make money and pull it out of the system there, thereby attractive money to me but also being able to help others make money during this time.
As of right now, there is unskilled work available through www.parttimeclicks.com Where one can sign up to get paid for google searches. These take little time, but also pay very little but it’s a way to make income. Even a child could do it and if the sites still around when my daughter is up for it I’ll have her doing this so she can make some residual income that she can save up. The site only allows for users from the US to participate, but if everyone in the family is doing it, you’re all generating collective income for very little work.
The next thing that I do is use referral programs in order to increase the assets that I have in the stock market and flip money to myself by doing the referrals. If you’re interested in that hit me up and we can exchange referrals for mutual gain.
After these options, I’m also using Amazon’s Mturk Platform to make a few dollars every day by spending about 30 minutes to an hour on the site in order to perform tasks or do surveys that they have available so that I can put money into my bank account every few days. It’s not a lot but if I’m doing it while I have time power and energy I can increase the amount of time that I can spend jobless if push comes to shove and if I have to go without.
Past that I’m also doing book reviews for pay through  [email protected], tell her Kasper Sent you. (referrals are always great and will help me also.) The books are usually not too long and sometimes useful and interesting. I get to give honest opinions/reviews and do my best to provide all the information I can.
My wife and I have already foregone going out anywhere and are cooking all meals at this point and are trying to think of other ways to keep the majority of our income to ourselves and also for us to be able to generate what we can. Let me know if you need direction to resources. I’ll do my best to assist and help out with direction to different apps that will let you pull money out of them and anything else I can point you to and assist with. Let’s do our best to help each other and work together through this rough time. All Will Be Well.

The Things I Do For Money -TIDM 12 - Passive Income Apps/Stock Apps - Bumped
What is bumped?
Bumped is an app that rewards it’s users with stock for brand loyalty.
You can check out a description on the website itself. https://bumped.com/
The basic break down however is that you choose a few different brands that you use consistently. Some include, Starbucks, Burger King, Wendy’s, and a few others. Every time you shop at these places Bumped tracks your spending activity via a linked credit or debit card. Whenever you use one of these cards at one of the chosen locations that you set up beforehand the bumped app automatically gives a percentage return back in the form of a share of stock. THeir philosophy or mission statement boils down to the concept that you’re investing money in this place, why not also be an owner?
I really like this app. Lately, as I’ve been getting older my aim is to reduce spending as much as possible because I want to be able to retain the money I have for investing or to have a small nest egg to pass on to the future children I may have. I am not going to altogether escape spending money outside of my home. That being said I might as well find ways to recoup some of that energy I’m expending. With Bumped not only can I recapture some of that expenditure it can turn into an investment that creates forward capital so that when I do spend not only am I reducing my overall spending by creating a return, but I’m also creating another revenue stream by recapturing some of that money and turning it into dividend generating stock.
It’s a win-win in my eyes.
So far I’ve gotten stock in McDonald’s, Kroger Stores, and Walgreens Boots Alliance because of Bumped.
Anyway if you’re interested sign up on their website.
Non-Affiliate Link: https://bumped.com/
For the record btw, I don’t get anything from the Affililiate link, they don’t provide me with a bonus or any kind of return. This is just a good app to use for more return on investment and to create an investment.
Referral Link: https://bumped.com/?ref=60fd0ec2
The referral link might get you forward in line a bit as this app is still in Beta.

TIDM11 - Mission Statement
What is the purpose of your site?
The purpose of the site will be to provide a compendium of information for passive income, investment and referral links for people in the minority community to use in order to gain access to assets.  I would like to create a resource where they can gain access to information as to why it’s important to acquire assets, budget, pass on assets to future generations & to be able to build & move forward collectively.
That is the main purpose. The second intent behind the site would be to create a massive shift in assets from companies to the minority community in order to shorten the distance between wealth for the 1% and the traditionally disenfranchised People of Color. It would allow a pathway towards wealth and some level of financial freedom for future generations allowing an avenue to rebuild. (This would be a small change, but the road to generational wealth has to start somewhere.)
The third intent, and this was just introduced, would be to teach other people that are not people of color about assets, how to get them, save for retirement etc. Specifically, for Freelancers so they can protect themselves moving forward when trying to save for retirement and provide eventually for themselves in their future because normally the jobs that they have don’t provide for such things, this would allow at the very least a small outlet or tool by which, they could start providing for their own futures and protecting themselves.
Another intent would be to build an audience and following through the site in order to create a consistent following that would allow me to generate clients that I’d eventually become clients for me as a fiduciary for Fee/Pay only. This is the long term plan for an independent business aside from creating recurring income for me and my partners by utilizing affiliate links, and simultaneously create something that I could give back to the community.

TIDM10 - Part Time Clicks
So, as you all know I’m constantly looking for ways to passively or actively generate income with low impact to my schedule as I already have a full time job. In addition to trying to generate referral income/assets via Stock Apps. I also user apps that generate passive income or offset some sort of cost. Today I’m showcasing Part Time Clicks. This is a company that pays you to do searches on the internet via Google/Yahoo/Bing etc. They pay varying amounts of pocket change for quick google searches. Generally I’ve made about 2$ a week, which is generally enough to pay for my basic Hulu Package and a Podcast Subscription that I have. Everything that I make over that, I recontribute to my IRA in order to fund my future Financial Independence because every little bit counts.

TIDM8 - My Pod
Today, I want to put put a brand new concept. I found myself thinking the other day, what would be a good way to have communities come together, but even simpler how could I get on a smaller scale to get things together for a community? I randomly thought of the concept of a pod of whales and having minigroups of people that share economic goals together for the good of the community and overall the African Diaspora. Kind of a random thought let me know what you guys think and if this is an idea that needs to be developed further.

Nvstr
Nvstr (pronounced "Investor") is a modern investing platform designed by ex-hedge fund guys to make smart investing simple.  Today's online and app-based brokerages are still patterned after pioneers from the 1990s.  Nvstr is different.  It empowers you to invest better with the collective experience of people you trust and the community.  Nvstr's technology also helps you optimally diversify your portfolio in a click.  It's based on independent Nobel Prize winning research - it's the world's first brokerage with this technology. Right now they're giving people up to $500 free cash to invest when you join (selected at random, but you're guaranteed at least $10).

Jesse Livermore’s 21 Trading Rules
1. Nothing new ever occurs in the business of speculating or investing in securities and commodities.
2. Money cannot consistently be made trading every day or every week during the year.
3. Don’t trust your own opinion and back your judgment until the action of the market itself confirms your opinion.
4. Markets are never wrong – opinions often are.
5. The real money made in speculating has been in commitments showing in profit right from the start.
6. As long as a stock is acting right, and the market is right, do not be in a hurry to take profits.
7. One should never permit speculative ventures to run into investments.
8. The money lost by speculation alone is small compared with the gigantic sums lost by so-called investors who have let their investments ride.
9. Never buy a stock because it has had a big decline from its previous high.
10. Never sell a stock because it seems high-priced.
11. I become a buyer as soon as a stock makes a new high on its movement after having had a normal reaction.
12. Never average losses.
13. The human side of every person is the greatest enemy of the average investor or speculator.
14. Wishful thinking must be banished.
15. Big movements take time to develop.
16. It is not good to be too curious about all the reasons behind price movements.
17. It is much easier to watch a few than many.
18. If you cannot make money out of the leading active issues, you are not going to make money out of the stock market as a whole.
19. The leaders of today may not be the leaders of two years from now.
20. Do not become completely bearish or bullish on the whole market because one stock in some particular group has plainly reversed its course from the general trend.
21. Few people ever make money on tips. Beware of inside information. If there was easy money lying around, no one would be forcing it into your pocket.

The Things I Do For Money - Passive Income Apps - Dosh
Last night I went out with some friends and I covered the bill as a trade-off for them to cover drinks at the next bar we were going to head to, I then received 2 notifications on my phone. The first notification was from my bank confirming that I had made the purchase. I have this set so I don’t get any surprises in my purchase history.
The second and more important notification I received was that I received some cash back from my purchase. This notification came from the DOSH App. I signed up for Dosh a while back not entirely certain of what to expect. The app promised cash back automatically just for doing things that I normally do. Going to bars and restaurants. The app has tons of offers for cash back as well as different offers from a wealth of different stores and local bars and restaurants. The app is cool/great to me because it’s convenient in the sense of setting it and forgetting it. I don’t have to think about which place I’m going to go to or think about what I’m going to do. I set up the account and it automatically pays me back when I shop at participating Restaurants and stores.
To date I’ve passively gotten about 60$. They pay through paypal and are essentially automatic. This is one of the apps that I use that are the easiest for me to use and essentially one that is one of the easiest to use. You just sit back and let them pay you back for doing what you do anyway.
Happy Hunting Guys~!

Things I Do For Money - Stock Platforms Part 2 - Robinhood
What is Robinhood?
Robinhood is a no fee stock platform that was built up from a mobile application. This application allows you to trade on the stock market in real time (Relatively Speaking). [Sometimes the app will glitch]. I signed up over 3 years ago when the program/company was still in Beta, so I’ve been around a while with regards to the utilization of the app. So far for me it’s been a good ride. I say that in part because they’ve given me almost 500$ worth of Free stock from referrals (I’ve gotta be completely honest about that.) They are not paying me for this promo, however, I have gotten all that money from directly investing in friends signing up. So, all in all, I think I’ve gotten myself family and friends roughly 1000$ in free stock distributed all over the country. (U.S. Residents Only).
Why is this important? This is a massive redistribution of wealth from a company to people that normally may not have access to these kinds of things. It also encourages people to screw around in the market with Free Capital that they may not have had before. I hope that at the very least it gets them curious and starts them investing in their future. Why? Because then the money invested in dividend growth stock will keep working when you’re not and make you more money.
Pros: No Fees. Articles on stocks. Market Recommendations fed to you from brokers/Analysts
The app has no fees per stock transaction. Each time you purchase a stock you don’t suffer transaction fees which normally would be prohibitive to people investing in the market and eat away at your gains. As mentioned in my previous post about NVSTR, they charge roughly 4.95 per trade. This to me eats away at gains and you have to wait a longer time to grab some profits from dividends and reinvestment programs.
Market Recommendations from analysts. According to Robinhood they provide in-app surveys from analysts that have purchased the stock or have recommendations against it and a short list of reasons as to why or why not. This allows the user to get a vibe on the companies quick pros and cons from someone else if they want a third parties opinion. This also comes in the form of articles
The other pro about Robinhood is that they feed you information from different websites that may be relevant to the stocks that you are watching or have invested in. This way you can start to get a grasp of what things may affect this stock or might affect this industry as a whole.
Free Stock. Yeah, Robinhood offers you free stock for signing up. They also offer you free stock for every friend that you recommend to the application. That’s free stock for you and free stock for your friend, family member whoever. My biggest problem with this, however, is that the stock draw is random so you never know what you’re going to get.
Cons: Full Cost per share. Each time that you purchase a share of stock from Robinhood you have to pay the full cost of that share. So if a share of stock costs $1,000, you’‘ have to have the full cost of that share in order to purchase it.
No DRIP. DRIP is shorthand for Dividend Reinvestment Program. Normally through other trading houses, you have the option to do what’s called “DRIP”. DRIP is when you get paid Dividends and those dividends are automatically used to buy more stock. Read all about here on Investopedia. https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/what-is-a-drip/
No Fractals. Robinhood currently doesn’t support Fractal Shares. So you can’t buy Partial Shares. THIS SUCKS BECAUSE if you can buy partial shares it makes the hurdle to invest even smaller.
Dividend payments: The dividend payments are in cash and sometimes they are late or not properly recorded. This drives me nuts especially when I’m planning to make a purchase using incoming capital
Taxes: The app is not a tax safe haven like an IRA. With an Individual Retirement Account, you can shelter your returns from Taxes. With a Robinhood Account, you will have to pay taxes on your gains. Generally, this applies to the Capital gains you make from selling an asset and the money that you’d make from getting dividends from stock.
Conclusion:
Overall, I’d say that the Robinhood app is good for a beginner getting into the stock market and still learning about the different aspects and behaviors of the market. You can be an observer and not purchase anything, or you can do a deeper dive and figure things out as you keep investing. How you want to go in is up to you because you get to make your own choices and they’re not controlled by someone else.

The Things I Do For Money - 10 Passive Income Commandments
I took this from a Reddit Post in r/passiveincome from user  u/Yea_I_Reddit
The 10 Commandments of Passive Income.
Tumblr media
1 - Say “NO” to being paid only once for your work.
Being paid once by the hour is a terrible deal. Accepting this deal will ensure you always have to work, or have little. Look for ways that the work you do can be leveraged and earn you recurring income.
2 - Working time in an investment for free time.
We are not here to spend our lives occupied by chores. People should work on things they feel are exciting or important, not drag themselves through long days just to make enough money to see them through to the next long day.
If you are not spending your working time now doing something you think is exciting or important, start to view all your working time as an investment in having free time later; where you can do whatever you find exciting and/or important.
3 - Value your hours, delegate accordingly.
Setting up passive incomes can require a lot of active work creating the foundations of it. Remember to be smart, do not spend five hours on something you can pay someone $5 for, your time is worth more than $1/hour.
As you make more passive income, you may have a choice of making $10,000 a month with a lot of work, or $5,000 a month with nominal work - value your time, and be ready to pay the value of it when outsourcing.
4 - Cashflow or Compound.
Look for methods that either produce you cashflow income or are compounding gains on a regular basis. These are much more powerful for generating large sums of money than standard capital gains.
5 - You have to travel to arrive.
Understand that many streams of passive income are only passive once you have done the work. Especially setting up your first passive income streams and building up enough to replace a working income is likely to require an up-front work that does not initially pay. Stick with it! It is worth it in the long term.
6 - Dedication to dilligience.
Just because your incomes are being made passively, do not become lackadaisical about them. Dedicate yourself to be diligent when it comes to checking up on your income methods and seeing if there are any issues you should know of, or ways you can improve what you are doing.
7 - Third or under rule.
Never have over a third (33%) of your income from the one source if you are wanting to live off passive incomes. It is good to have at least three different incomes that are entirely unrelated to each other, this means if there is ever some unforeseeable event that damages an industry that was making you passive income and you lose that income, it will not dramatically affect your lifestyle.
8 - Evergreen Growing.
Avoid fad and flash in the pan sort of incomes. Look for things that can last for decades, these are the things worth investing your time into now; for they decades of free time pay off later. Also, look for ways to build passive incomes that also can grow passively. Passive and exponential income is a glorious thing.
9 - Re-invest and scale.
Be willing to put the money you make back into improving incomes streams, setting up new income streams and scaling the most successful income streams. Once you are making money, start to use that money as a nitros to speed you along to make more money.
10 - Be fair, remember to share.
Once you have made it, once you have your income set up and you are making $1,000s a month while having your time free to do whatever you want; do nice things for those worse off than you. Remember, it is the things that you can not buy that matter the most!

Things I Do For Money - Stock Platforms Part 1 - NVSTR
As part of my adventure in making passive income and direct income so I can retire but also provide for my family and others, I’ve ventured into utilizing various stock platforms. The reason I do this is because the majority of them provide a monetary incentive with which to utilize and make the cost of stock investing far less than normal people would need to get started. The cost of doing business with these companies is usually that they utilize whatever data about you in order to reduce their cost and make their giveaways worth it for them.
I don’t mind them using my collective investing data in order to make money if they’re are going to trade off by giving me a piece of that money. The cost of this is signing up and then potentially getting friends to sign up. What I like to do is work with friends I’ve already worked with on other platforms and get a referral chain going. I also try to offer my friends other incentives like me signing up for something for them, or even do some work for them in order to trade off for a sign-up.
Anyway on to the pros and cons of this platform.
PROS: NVSTR is giving away free money. They give away a minimum of 20$ per sign up. To date, I’ve gotten about 155$ from them for free by having about 4 friends sign up. I took that and parked it into some stocks I like. The cool thing about NVSTR is that it allows you to have a friend circle and track their investments and compare them to your own so you can get suggestions and also try to utilize their suggestions. You can also create a watchlist of ideas and track the ideas of others in order to track how well the idea portfolio's are doing.
The Social aspect allows you to crowdsource Ideas from others. They also provide interesting articles for one to read and vote on whether the things affecting a company are pros or cons. I like this concept because you can get a general feel of market sentiment towards a company and also learn a bit about things that are trending about the company.
The other great thing is that they don’t charge maintenance fees for you to maintain an account like Acorns or Stash. However, these ttwo applications also
The main thing I like about NVSTR is the option to use someone else’s money to fuel my retirement and creation of Wealth. The more I can do this without using my own income the more I can create Income that will be passive as well as things I can pass down to my future children or my children in the event that something happens to me.
CONS: NVSTR unlike other new to the market trading platforms that incentivize you by doing things such as offering fee-free trading. In this instance, they charge you a 4.95 Fee per trade. This will eat into your gains from dividends and stock growth for when you have to sell stock. The other aspects of issues that I am having with this platform is that they don’t provide the option of Automatic Dividend Reinvestment. However, they don’t charge Maintenance Fees like Acorns or Stash.
One more con is even though they give you free money in order to claim it you’ll need to fund your account and you’ll have to place a trade within a year to keep the funds and leave the stocks in the account for roughly a year. I plan on transferring out my assets eventually.
The other Cons of NVSTR is that they don’t have a mobile app and so far all they have is a web platform which is a bit of a pain to me most of the new apps that are rolling out use mobile apps that I can utilize in order to access the account. This makes it vastly easier to check in and have a friendly interface that you can use. The web interface is not bad but a tad goofy in my opinion and may not be useful for novice investors but given the limited feature set I don’t think pros would want to use it at all. It would be a great introductory tool.
Overall:
Overall I like the free money, but I would like more out of the interface. Eventually, if I can’t make more off of it or make use of it to gain other useful information then I’ll likely transfer the assets to another more useful account that doesn’t have fees. I like the social aspects and the monetary incentive to sign up but you also have to place a trade within a year effectively reducing your gains and starting you at a loss unless you refer multiple people. Anyway, happy hunting everyone.

Things I Do For Money - Passive Income Apps - Smart Panel
Smart Panel - Smartpanel.io
Smart Panel is an app that monitors the usage of the consumer and then submits that to use as consumer data for sale to others. If that bugs you, you probably shouldn’t sign up. However, I’d say it’s probably going to be the easiest 5$ a month you’ll ever make.
I’ve tried this app on both the iPhone and on Android. On the iPhone it installs a VPN on your phone with which to report home and on the Android app it no longer does this as of Android Pie. When using the app it sits in the background on your phone and will report user statistics home. The Smart Panel Team pays 5$ per month and loyalty bonuses every quarter that are paid through pay pal as well as Amazon Gift Cards.
For me personally, I take my payouts via Paypal, which allows m to pay some bills through Paypal so they never touch my bank account. For example, I pay my Hulu Bill through these Payments and some others. (So now Hulu is kind of Free).  When I have excesses, I kick them out to my bank accounts in order to either hold them and have them generate residual interest for me. The other option for me is to move them from my bank account to my investment account. However, more on that another time.
If you want to know more pop on over to the Penny Hoarder.

Money Making Apps
This is a compilation of every money making App I have or am using presently.
Robinhood - Stock Trading App that offers a free share on creating an account, the free share is random but you could potentially get something like Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, FitBit, Ford, Etc.
The most recent one we (My fiancee and I got was Fitbit) The link provided below is my fiancee’s as I’ve maxed out the 500$ limit on what you can receive in free stock.
 http://share.robinhood.com/saritaf1
Acorns - These guys invest for you and give you 5$ to start but charge a 1$ per month Fee. (I usually take the 5$ withdraw it and put it in a savings account.
Start investing with Acorns today! Get $5 when you use my invite link: https://acorns.com/invite/NT4M6C
Smart Panel - These guys install an app on your device to collect and utilize user Data and pay 5$ a month and loyalty bonuses every few months for staying with them. They pay via Paypal and I'd reccomend only installing on one device as they install a VPN on the device and it can slow down data usage.
