I don't understand this obsession people have with being so stupid when it comes to Pelle. In addition to dishonoring and disrespecting his memory, they also act like a bunch of animals when it comes to the family.
If you look at the social media profiles of each of one of them, you will see that they are quite low profile people, with locked profiles. This should be interpreted as a big warning when it comes to this matter.
Even Anders, who has an open Instagram profile, never likes or responds to comments when someone says something about pelle, good or bad. He even deletes most of them
And still people insist on being inconvenient
This kind of attitude makes me really furious and also brokenhearted by seeing the kind of people they end up dealing with.
Seriously, seek therapy.
exactly.
People, open your eyes and stop doing all that shit, do you think it won't have any consequences? You're wrong.

What's so bad about writing to his relatives?
dude, either you're pretending to be an asshole or you REALLY are an asshole. His family are people who are uncomfortable talking about this topic; it would be unpleasant for any person to talk about a topic that would concern his deceased loved one. Leave his family alone, this morning hey also sent me Pelle’s sister’s number (he also sent this number to the-old-mayhem) in anonymous messages, many probably know that in Sweden they don’t keep people’s personal information private, but that doesn’t mean that idiots like this man who found They need to write her number. Stop acting like some monsters, put yourself in their place before you write to them and ask about any question.

One Man
The Devil worshipper tells us that there was only one man that set fire to Fantoft Stave Church. “He wanted to do it himself, he didn’t want to share the sacrifice with anyone. A church that had been revered for 800 years was something really big for us, and had more power. The day itself was carefully planned. The Eve of Pentecost, 1992 revealed the Satanic symbol 666.
"The intention was that our contacts all over Norway should do the same with other churches at exactly the same time. But the others chickened out. They let it remain just talk. Luckily, their cowardice led to us gaining more power over them. Therefore they became easier to manipulate later.”
A Dead Student
He gives a detailed description of how the church was ignited. The information corresponds with the police investigation of the fire.
“We had been there for a long while before the arsonist stepped into the open hall on the East side of the church. “We had planned to assault the first person that came through the forest. We knew that students often walk that way. Unfortunately, no one came. It would have had greater effect to sacrifice a dead student than a rabbit”, he says.
He neither laughs nor looks sad. The brutal sentences just keep coming.
- From V.V’s infamous interview with Bergens Tidende. Part 4. Note the discrepancy between “we” and “one man” involved with Fantoft as V. tries to simultaneously big himself up and not incriminate himself 🕯️

Mayhem died with Pelle and Euronymous.
A controversial opinion, for sure.
I have a friend who would vehemently disagree. I am somewhere in between. I think the original Mayhem spirit and vision died with those two.
Mayhem continued, but as a different beast under the same name. That's how I see it, that's how I feel

You focus clearly on the human weaknesses of the characters.
"That is because all the other documentaries that exist have one thing in common, which is that they portray the boys as monsters and demons. Whenever you hear anything about them, it's always a dark voice with some inserts of fire, and they are said to be these monsters from up north, but what separates this movie is that it shows the human side of it.
What have the "black metal professors" criticised you about?
"Oh, everything. Again, it was very expected, but what was unexpected was that there are a lot of black metal professors who really love the film as well. I'm really happy about that, of course. I think it's hard to understand that this is a movie, and a lot of people are talking about truth and what really happened, and what is accurate and inaccurate, but does it really matter?
People are not used to seeing that these were young boys with emotions, and that they were real people. I think that's what bugs people - like, 'No, they were monsters and demons. We don't want to see them cry or be fragile!' - Jonas Åkerlund, interviewed for The Quietus, part 2/3 of Åkerlund posts about LOC 🦇

I wish there was more discussion surronding the elf corpse paint collab ever since I’ve seen too many people say it showed how much gatekeeping there is in black metal but I don’t think they see the point of it that big corporations like to capitalize off subcultures and make it into something it is not. Corpse paint is an art at least that’s how I see it, it’s not meant to be a commercial make up trend for tiktok “influencers” to profit off and make money off. People want a packeged version of something that is often, unauthentic and pathetic. There is no actual thought put into it is there? I hope I don’t sound like a rude gatekeeper but it’s been getting under my skin I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it, a part of me thinks the people defending this don’t get it and just like that elf is a trend.
Yes this is correct. It used to be art, it used to be something really cool, but now people on TikTok/Instagram just made it a damn trend. I don’t think you’re wrong, it’s said very well, I have the same opinion about this corporation

if any of you found errors in my text, I will warn you right away, I am not a person who speaks English fluently, I most often write through a translator and he does not always translate everything correctly, so know this!!!
What was your impression of the Mayhem story when you first joined? Did you also believe the things said about Euro (even Pelle to an extent)? When did you first start noticing the cracks in the story told by Necro, V*rgs etc?
then I just listened to Mayhem’s music, I was never interested in the history of their group at that time, I only knew the names of the participants and that’s it 😂
But one day my curiosity got the better of me and I read all the information about them. I remember I was in shock for about 2 days.
Since then, I began to search on the Internet for ABSOLUTELY ALL INFORMATION that concerned them. Naturally, there were shitty sites where huge posts were written where people tried in every possible way to prove that the cause of Pelle’s death was Øystein. And being a naive teenager, I believed every word of these people without any hassle and gradually began to have a negative attitude towards Øystein (until I realized that these people were talking nonsense without evidence)
then I loaded up facebook where I read a lot of Necro/Varg/Hellhammer interviews. And I also began to believe their lies, until @the-old-mayhem opened my eyes.
It is a pity that in those days there were no such information pages, because there are still people who still believe in the lies of Necro and Varg.

is there anyone of the scene who would ever actually do anything to v or have they all turned into his dogs?
(i know any form of attack against him would start a whole new trainwreck and that most of his peers dont want to get involved into sth like that but the idea of him just living his life makes me sick. a person can dream...)
maybe , but as you said, people don’t want problems in life, especially conflicts with V.
When I remember that a person who killed another person lives his normal life, maintains accounts on social networks and even has fans, it makes me shiver.

in general, do you think bm fans as weird/messy irl as they are online or does the anonymity of the internet bring out the worst in them??
I do not think so. On the Internet, people can do whatever they want (especially if they have the opportunity to do it anonymously), unlike in real life.
Although, of course, there are people who are an exception, but you rarely see such people

How long have you been in the Mayhem community?
since 2005 (probably, I can’t say for sure)
I was introduced to this band by my uncle, who had black/death metal playing in his car 24/7 and this band was one of them. I only got access to the Internet in 2007 and since then I have been trying to track almost everything related to them

Fantoft
“We caught a rabbit by the Fana mountain. It was much more laborious than burning down Fantoft Stave Church. By the church we decapitated the now dead rabbit. We lay the body on the church steps. The head was laid on the ground next to it. The point was to spread more sorrow. Our hope was that the innocent rabbit would be found,” says the youth, “a symbol of goodness to be burned on the fire,” as the youth describes it.
Associate Professor Morild confirmed to BT yesterday that the rabbit carcass which was found was headless.
He says this is information that has not been made public before. “I don’t even think the police knew it,” says Morild. He cannot determine whether the head was cut or burned off the body. “Our examinations cannot determine this.” - From V.V’s infamous interview with Bergens Tidende. Part 3.
Important to note that this is NOT being posted in admiration of V. in any way - rather, for two reasons. One because it’s an important part of black metal history and represented a turning point for the scene in terms of their visibility, and led to serious consequences for Øystein, but rarely published in English. Two, because of the interviewer’s very funny tongue in cheek judgment of V that becomes very apparent as you read. 🕯️

I hope no one gives this person an answer to this question..
I'm just being stupid
Is it just me or is Pelle the type of guy who would do it with his girlfriend (I know he probably didn't have one let's just pretend) while she's on her period?
(Sorry)
Firstly :
my page is NOT an information page where I answer questions related to the personal lives of group members.
And secondly :
where the hell do you get such strange questions from? Even if I knew the answer to this question, I still wouldn't answer it. I actually got a LOT of weird questions this week that I didn't answer, but this one really struck me the most...

I read about Anders saying that Pelle became interesed in gore, terror, war and any kind of that type after the NDE.I was thinking if his persona Dead was created in part to cope things about his life, like the NDE itself.Dead is an interesing character that i am wondering what Pelle himself thought about this side of him.
I'm pretty sure Dead wasn't created to cope, but to let out all those self destructive urges, hate, malice and whatever he felt but couldn't normally express. I also don't believe it was intentional.
It was a persona he created for the band that just so happened to come in handy, he wasn't split personality
