Toby wishing Sarah away when he got older.
Like obviously he’s gonna know the story and there’s not way he hasn’t read the little book… at some point he’s gonna be a little elementary school kid punk and? He’s gonna get mad at his older sister? And he doesn’t really believe in that stuff,, he’s just a kid. So he just.. accidentally/on purpose, wishes his sister away,, to the goblin king..
Obviously that would suck for him. But I’m more interested in whatever the fuck Sarah and Jareth are gonna do. Is it terrifying?? Awkward?? Can Sarah just be like,, “idk what to tell you man, you STILL don’t have any power over me,, my stupid little brother doesn’t change that,, can I go? Can I take Toby with me? Honestly don’t even worry about the labyrinth bc I’m gonna kill him myself when we get home.”
Like this is so funny to me.
Does Jareth try to get revenge? Does he find the whole thing hysterical? What do they do while they wait for Toby? Do Hoggle and Ludo and everyone help Toby? Automatic head start? Does Toby know not to listen to the worm? To just take the path that leads directly to the castle? He gets there in record time. Halfway through ‘Dance Magic Dance’. Jareth is just trying to sing his song and Sarah is like?? This is what you do?? With the children you take?? THIS??
PLEASE if you have any ideas of what you think would happen PLEASE let me know.

Labyrinth: Jareth, the Goblin King —Aesthetic
Jareth’s Character & Personality
As a king, Jareth acts like a gang leader towards his subjects. He expects them to laugh at his jokes, he quickly loses his patience with them and he’ll occasionally outright insult the goblin species. Jareth claims to be extremely weary of their antics, but the charismatic ruler is often more interested in Sarah. Overall, Jareth is a mischievous man who delights in tormenting Sarah. Due to this, he’s dangerous and proud when demonstrating his powers to her. Yet, Jareth has anxiety towards losing. His uncompromising nature evokes his manipulative side when he’s extremely desperate to win. However, when his last determined efforts fail, Jareth will gracefully accept defeat without resentment.

Part one of my big Labyrinth project for my final! Jareth offers Sarah the crystal. I had a lot of fun trying to nail down a style.

I’ve seen a lot of different origin stories for the Goblin King in Labyrinth fics: he’s a runner who got trapped, he’s a minor noble in the Fey court, he’s the personification of human dreams, he’s Robbin Goodfellow…
All are lovely, but you will never be able to convince me that he is not, in fact, the son of Ariadne, Princess of Crete and Mistress of the Labyrinth and her husband Dionysus, God of theater, madness, wine, and ECSTATIC DANCE.

Okay- If it was possible... Do you think Spring Bonnie would sucker punch ol' Willie for using them as a vessel to murder a bunch of kids? I personally imagine/headcanon Spring Bonnie as absolutely loathing William Afton.
