Nice work on the mollusc starters, I absolutely love the sarcolamb line!

I just wanted to ask, what specific molluscs are they based on?

My guess is a type of sea bunny, the scaly foot gastropod and...

I know its an octopi, but what specifically?

Sorry if I'm reading into it too much, I love researching wildlife!

-Sacolamb is kind of a combination between a leaf sheep slug and dorid nudibranchs! Leaf sheep were the main inspiration, but I decided to add elements of nudibranchs into sacolamb (and the whole line) because 1. I personally find dorids to be very adorable, and 2. Leaf sheep are sacoglossan sea slugs, which (as far as I know) aren’t toxic like nudibranchs, so the added nudibranch inspiration is kind-of there to (hopefully) make incoglossa’s type make a little more sense.

-You’re correct with scalit! Its only inspiration species-wise is the scaly foot gastropod.

-With collectopus, its main inspiration is more funneled into its behavior than its appearance: the coconut octopus- because they’re known to carry around shells and such as shelter! It’s also very based off of that one video of an octopus with a plastic cup (and the phenomenon of octopuses utilizing human trash in general). Visually, it’s just supposed to be a “generic octopus” with some dumbo octopus features (it’s cute little fins!).

Did it bug you that there wasn’t a prompt to sit down where the master sword was on the L.D, cause I head canon link would occasionally find the L.D lay/sit down on her head and share some of his recent activities (and being the gremlin he is, forgets to filter the unpleasant stories) just because he knows that’s Zelda at that point

(I was always fine with just standing on her head, but being able to actually have link sit down would be so cute waaaaa…..)

If they eventually get the stones out and meet Link, I can imagine Dinraal having a moment of

"WHERE DID YOU GET MY CLOTHES I'M STILL WEARING THEM"

Gets upset that not only did they replicate her shrine keeper clothes, they glued crappy plastic horns to it because her dragon form has them.

Ohhhh my god she would!!!

I think the others would be weirded out about the replica clothes too, but dinraal would 100% actually be upset about it (*especially* because of the fake horns)

I think that the only one who would know how to play an instrument would probably be dinraal, actually. I doubt she’d be very *good* at it, but she’d know how to because she was made to learn how to play an instrument.

Even though the other two can’t play anything, Farosh is good at dancing! So she’s got that going for her!

I really like the Dinraal seething/Farosh outfit scene because there's that faint implication of

I LOVE YOUR DESIGNS SO MUCH FOR THE UNDRAGONED ZONAI !!! ITS SO HRRRRRRRRGGRGGGRGR. I was wondering though , what do they think of the depths ? I mean , I’m sure the fireflies would intrigue one of them , and the lively zonite mines could be a particularly fun hotspot for zonai and depths dwellers to meet ? Or would the mines not exist yet due to the constructs being something made by mineru ? Or maybe the constructs were a fill in after the depths dwellers went extinct ?

Like I said in my other ask about the girls and the depths (strange how two different anons asked about the depths, huh!) they would think it’s interesting at least! I imagine that since the girls themselves technically have no business in the depths, they wouldn’t find themselves there very often. And when they do go, it would probably only be to the construct factory (due to farosh’s family having ties with the going-ons under Faron) and the great central mine (it’s one of those places you have to go at least once, y’know?). Because of that I don’t think they have have a really nuanced opinion of the depths beyond “it’s cool :)” (Naydra would be the one who likes the fireflies btw)

ALSO! I really like your thought of the constructs being a fill in!! Though I don’t think it would be necessarily after “extinction” per say, I like to think they probably swapped to automated work as soon as they had the technology.
