Caregiver Stolas headcanons!

•Super gentle and loving caregiver.

•He didn't know what age regression is, but he does know how to take care of a kid. He told you he'd do his best for you, and do some research.

•The first time he took care of you when you were regressed, he was so loving and quiet, and tried his best to keep you calm and happy.

•He calls you "Darling", "Sweetheart", "Love", "Starlight/ My little starlight", "Cuteness", and "Firefly".

•He loves singing to you. He just adores singing to you, while he holds you (or lays next to you in bed). He made a special lullaby for you, and sings you to sleep with it.

•Most of the regression gear he gets you had stars on it, or has to do with the galaxy.

•He loves teaching you about the planet and the stars while you're regressed. He thinks regression should be fun, but should also have some learning!

•He's a pretty laid back caregiver, but he has some rules.

•He keeps you far away from Stella and Blitz, and most people for that matter. He is so scared of something happening to you, and constantly worried for your safety. Knowing Stella and how upset she is with Stolas, he worries she'll try to hurt you.

•He introduced you to Octavia, and she thought you were pretty cute. At first she felt like you were taking attention away from her, but eventually you two became like siblings. Now she just adores you, and loves showing you cool things, and playing with you. Via is the only person Stolas truly trusts to babysit you when you're regressed.

•He treats you like you're his kid, and has so much love and respect for you. He's always so gentle and caring.

•Stolas took you to see the stars, and brought Octavia with. You had a picnic under the stars, and just cuddled up together.

Caregivers Sherlock & John pt. 2

Sherlock and John are honestly very opposite cg’s, which works to their little’s benefit! They’re able to deal with their little’s good and bad days through the various needs their little has!

When their little comes back to the flat after a long day at work/school/etc. in a poorly mood, they’re both quick to notice and to exchange looks based on deductions. John isn’t as good at deducing as Sherlock, of course, but because he’s naturally a feeler and Sherlock has taught him well, he can usually tell what his little needs before they say it.

On some bad days when their little is more needy and yearning for physical comfort, both men will take turns scooping their little into their arms and kissing them on the head while humming a soft tune. John hums his favourite Queen tunes while Sherlock tends to stray towards the classical pieces he practices on his violin.

On other bad days where their little is angry or fussy, throwing a tantrum or not listening, John is more likely to put his foot down than Sherlock. John will send their little into time out on the stairs leading up to the flat, keeping the door wide open and sitting in Sherlock’s armchair to keep an eye on them and make sure they don’t run off. He’d also take away telly-watching privileges, meaning none for anyone in the flat until you were tucked away in bed for the night.

John’s punishments for their little really don’t stretch to Sherlock. It’s one thing that drives John crazy. If the little one is in time out and John asks Sherlock to watch them for “only a second” because the pasta is about to boil over on the stove, their little will be sitting in Sherlock’s lap on his armchair with their head buried in his chest instead of on the stairs. Or if they’ve been banned from watching television and John has to slip out to the store, Sherlock will wink at the little when the door closes. Of course, the baby knows what that means, and they’ll giggle and turn on their favourite cartoon.

On days where their little is especially anxious, Sherlock and John both know exactly how to react and interact with their little. John was in the army, after all, and Sherlock isn’t a stranger to those times when it feels like the world is falling apart around you. John will place a hand on their little’s chest and help them to take steady breaths, breathing alongside them no matter how long it takes for the worst of the feeling to subside. He’ll be quick to make a bottle, fill up a sippy cup, or find their little’s pacifier or comfort blankie/stuffie/stim toy. He’s also very good at relaying words of affirmation and comforting their little. “Everything’s alright, little one. Daddy’s got you.”

Sherlock, on the other hand, is extremely capable of distracting their little from all of the icky, anxious feelings. “Let’s try and name all of the blue things we can see. There’s a pillow over there, and— yes, John’s eyes! Very good, darling.” He’s also able to pick up on their little’s anxiety before it hits too hard, and sometimes he’s scrambling off to the store with his scarf dangling off his shoulders and his coat unbuttoned to get their little’s favourite snacks and a new plushie.

John’s ability to be a grumpy papa bear is one of his secret abilities — or so Sherlock said — and one of their little’s favourite games to play is what John calls “Baby Bear” and Sherlock says is “actually Bear Cub, John.” Their little is the cub of course, and with Sherlock’s help they have to sneak around John (the slumbering bear) and steal his jar of honey! John pretends not to hear giggles of any sort, but when he catches the cub, their squeal and laughter fills the entirety of the flat.

Sherlock’s duties during the game include anything and everything from piggybacking their little to distracting John bear with a slightly more-than-dangerous science experiment in the kitchen that makes a sound that Sherlock says “isn’t an explosion” but most likely is.

Bedtime in 221B is either extremely relaxing, or not at all. John is the best at keeping their little sleepy, gently washing their hair in a warm bath and rocking them to sleep after a gentle story about pirates and princes and a plushie all snug in their arms and the blankets pulled up to their chin.

When Sherlock is in charge of bedtime, it typically consists of a few too many sweets, jumping on the couch in the living room just to hear the springs creak and groan, and a subsequent sugar crash as him and their little fall asleep on the couch, the little’s head on his chest and their thumb between their lips. Both of them can stay there all night, cozy and comfortable as John laid a blanket over the pair of them and having replaced their thumb with a pacifier. Blinking in the flood of morning light, their little tends to wake up before Sherlock and poke his face until he wakes up. Prepare to be covered in kisses before Sherlock attempts to go back to sleep.

A/N; anytime anon, I enjoyed writing it! I decided to do Sasuke mainly because I don't remember much about Jiraiya from memory and Google isn't too promising on helping me out. But! ☝️ There is a 90% chance I will write about him though!

( ˊ˘ˋ ) ; when you first asked him to be your cg he thought you were joking. He brushed off what you asked of him as a joke and once he did take you seriously, (which took him about a day) he kept asking you "why?"

( ˊ˘ˋ ) ; never disliked the idea of being the one taking care of you, but he never understood why you chose him of all people. He still wonders about it but doesn't really bring it up in conversation

( ˊ˘ˋ ) ; you're the only person who can make him smile. He does it very secretly and when you call him out for it he'd deny it.

( ˊ˘ˋ ) ; bro goes "nuh uh" to literally everything you call him out for

( ˊ˘ˋ ) ; prefers being quiet when he's taking care of you. If you wanted to talk to him he'd still communicate a little, but he isn't much of a talker. He's trying to work on it just a bit

( ˊ˘ˋ ) ; he's the person to drive pass McDonald's even when you kept begging to get McDonalds before even passing the restaurant. (Then he ends up driving back because the guilt will eat him alive)

( ˊ˘ˋ ) ; discussing your regression to him wasn't easy, especially when he kept brushing it off. He didn't really understand it at the time and he didn't care much for it. It took him MONTHS for him to take time and actually listen. But when he did he started to be a bit more considerate

( ˊ˘ˋ ) ; silent cuddles for days. If you're okay with cuddles he'd always just come up to you at random and put you in his embrace. Sometimes that's him slithering in your bed and spooning you, to putting you on his lap so he could hug you from behind, or just lean into you. He doesn't cuddle much in general besides if he's either one, upset, tired or has a headache. He also does it when his little is upset as well

i feel like when you tell him you’re a little he would be mystified by it, like how is that possible?

when showing articles and how it works he would gradually start to understand

sometimes without realizing he would revert back to his closed off and arrogant personality and often beat himself up over it

“i’m so very sorry my love daddy’s so very sorry.”

each time that happens he’s always so baffled when you hand him a drawing showing how much you love him

overtime he becomes protective and loving learning each step of the way

he loves walking to the toy store with you because you always hold his hand (he gushed over the difference in size)

when you’re not looking he takes photos of you

he sees being your caretaker as learning experience, a chance to grow and change

when he wakes up in the morning he will just admire you curled up in his chest sucking his fingers

“little one wake up daddy is gonna make breakfast come on precious”

he would run his fingers through your hair and kiss your cheeks to wake you up

whenever you do something like dance or sing he will chuckle and smile to himself and wonder how he got so lucky

CG!Gildarts Headcanons

While the guild might all be considered Makarov's children, Gildarts is unofficially the guild's dad. Maybe it's because he's got this larger than life image surrounding him, but the kids have always flocked to him in that trusting way children do when they recognize somebody as a nice grown-up. And this appears to be the case regardless of whether they be literal children or regressors—no matter their age, he doesn't make any difference between how he treats them. Even guild members that have a one-off regression experience after being on the receiving end of some regression magic on a job run awry seem to ask for Gildarts, should he be at the guild. He's got that super comforting aura that little kids just soak up. But he doesn't begrudge the role that has been given to him, far from it in fact! Gildarts loves being able to help out and takes on that nurturing, parental responsibility with surprising ease. Moreover, because of this he leans into his little ones giving him more traditional cg titles (i.e., daddy or papa) should they feel the need to do so. Not because it makes him feel all warm to be honored with such a title or anything, ssh nobody can know he's a big softie (even though he totally is and does not actually try to hide it).

As a general rule, Gildarts is pretty easy-going. This aspect of his personality, naturally, carries over into his caregiving style. He doesn't necessarily get involved until he has to—not in a neglectful way of course, but rather in the sense that he believes kids can and should try to figure things out for themselves first. Kids are a lot smarter than people tend to give them credit for, after all! Also, it's a good way to help them grow emotionally, both when they are occupying their smallspace and potentially when they are big as well. But should his little one ask for his help early into their conundrum, they won't be ignored in the name of teaching them a lesson; that helps absolutely no one and is nothing more than an excuse, in his opinion. Although depending on the problem, Gildarts might be just as stumped. He isn't the type of person to pretend he knows everything, and thinks it's best to be honest with them rather than foster some false sense of infallibility. So to circumnavigate all of this, he is going to teach them the art of pestering their elders (i.e., going to Makarov and asking for help).

This man is incredibly verbally affectionate when it comes to his kiddo. That isn't to say he doesn't show other forms of affection—no one is safe from his bear hugs—but he gives physical affection more freely to everyone in general as it tends to be easier for him. An arm slung around someone's shoulder or a hand ruffling their hair isn't uncommon behavior for him. But when he's taking care of his kiddo? All the endearments and baby talk come rushing out because they're just too adorable! Practically every other sentence is getting peppered with whatever he feels suits his little one at that particular moment in time. And while he will default to classics such as "sweetheart" or "sunshine", Gildarts tends to favor more elaborate (some might say perhaps sillier) ones. Because who is going to call out one of the strongest mages in Fiore when he says things like Where's my bubbly bugaboo run off to, or Oh no, what's got my honeybun baby bear all upset now? (Also, it's pretty important to note that when he does string out some silly endearment, it's always prefaced with "my", because he wants everybody to know that's his kid and he couldn't be prouder!)

Not only is he one of the strongest magic users out there, but Gildarts is a pretty strong guy in general. Which means when his little one wants up? They are going up. Even if they didn't ask, he can always tell when they want uppies; he is going to scoop them up and pop them on his hip before they can so much as blink! Gildarts has also been known to pull his kiddo up by their ankle and dangle them about, which earns him many delighted shrieks; though if they happen to not be feeling it for whatever reason he is quick to actually pull them up in a more favorable position to bounce and rock them, apologizing all the while (Is that too scary today, sweetness? That's okay, Daddy's so sorry for upsetting you). However he doesn't always use this power to pick them up for good, at least in his little one's opinion. Are they about to get into something they have been told not to mess with? Gildarts plucks them up the second they think they're in the clear for baby crimes. They don't want to take a nap? Protest all they like, but Daddy has already got them slung over his shoulder and is hauling them off to bed.

Continuing in a similar vein with the concept of bedtime, Gildarts always has to rework his bedtime stories on the fly. Mostly because he doesn't know too many actual bedtime stories to begin with, and instead he tends to relay the events of the many different quests he has gone on over the years. This wouldn't be a problem since his kiddo practically begs him to tell them stories about what he does, believing that he is the absolute coolest wizard out there. No, the problem lies in that he sort of forgets that not every aspect of his adventures are suitable for tykes, and so he has to dial back certain elements. After all, it might scare them if he goes into too much detail about how he lost his arm, his leg, and some of his insides to Acnologia (and so they get a veerrryyy watered down baby-friendly version of the time he fought a dragon). Though most of his stories he plays up the fact that he's a little bit clumsy and has used his magic when he shouldn't, because that seems to make his little one laugh the most. By far their favorite story (and the one he's had to tell the most times) is the day that Magnolia finally decided they needed to rearrange the entire city every time he comes home.

Gildarts is really, extremely well-suited to minding after regressors with a lot of energy and that typically fall within the three to seven age range. Really, it's quite impressive how well he is able to match their energy level and keep up with them during their playtime, no matter the game being played—earning him the highly coveted "fun dad" label. He will be the big scary monster in their game of chase and does all the legwork that comes with that including the big scary monster voice, thank you. And honestly? He has just as much fun as they do, as he genuinely enjoys being able to play with them. The excited shrieks and giggles as they run away (always stopping to make sure he is indeed following) bring a smile to his face, and so he can't help but pull more out of them by the time he finally catches them. Because the minute he's got them, they are in for a visit from the big scary monster they've been trying to escape: the tickle monster. Gildarts laughs nearly as much as they do after a quick tickle to their side results in another giggle fit bursting out of his kiddo.

However, for as boisterous as he can be when it comes to enjoying playtime with them, he also has an incredibly calm and attentive side as well. No issue is a small issue if it is something that is bothering or upsetting his little one, and those big emotions should never be ignored (even if they might make them feel like they are being too much or too difficult, or that they are acting like a baby over "nothing"). Gildarts knows that to be strong you have to acknowledge your vulnerability and weaknesses, and allow yourself to be gentle. Out of everything he has to offer, all of the life experience he can share, this is the one belief that he wants to be able to teach his little one above all others. Because even when he isn't there to soothe their tears on a particularly rough day, they will know that there's no shame in admitting that they are hurting and that it's more than okay—necessary, he would argue—to treat themself with no small amount of gentleness and kindness like they deserve.
