VIXX Adventures: Hongbin (Part 3)
Tumblr media
Summary: In the midst of a pirate battle you start to wonder if Captain Hongbin is the pirate you really should be following as things start to get messy.
Word count: 2248
Note: Please Read Previous parts and Intro to VIXX Adventures first!
Intro// Part 1// Part 2
I gulped staring at the men now surrounding us. Somehow they looked more intimidating than Captain Hongbin’s men. We were definitely out numbered. There were more men on Captain Hongbin’s ship, but we had no way of actually communicating with them to get help. I looked to Captain Hongbin, hoping he knew what to do. I knew I wouldn’t stand a chance against anyone here.
“Captain Ailee,” Captain Hongbin said, his voice completely calm. I had no idea how he wasn’t panicking right now.
“Hongbin.” Captain Ailee nodded her head in acknowledgment. “It would appear that I have bested you once again.”
“That’s Captain Hongbin to you,” He corrected. Then he smirked. “And you haven’t won yet.”
Captain Ailee raised an eyebrow. “Oh, but I have you out numbered and surrounded. I highly doubt you’ll be able to get out of this one.” She gave him a wink.
I looked at Captain Ailee in awe. She had just as much confident as Captain Hongbin. She would need that sense of assurance as a female captain of a pirate ship. I wondered exactly how she got into that position. She must have proved herself somehow.
Captain Ailee caught my gaze as I was staring her. Her expression suddenly changed, as if she just saw something surprising. “Now who are you, lovely?” She gave me a warming smile, making me wish she was the captain who was assigned as my guide.
I started stepping forward and said, “I’m-”
“She’s of no importance,” Captain Hongbin quickly cut off while pushing me backwards.
Captain Ailee ticked her tongue. “Now that’s no way to treat a woman. Come here, darling. Let me have a better look at you. I’m awfully curious as to why Hongbin has a woman with him.”
Captain Hongbin drew his sword and pointed it at Ailee’s throat. “Leave her out of this. It’s the treasure you want, right? Well, you can have it.”
In response to Captain Hongbin, all of Ailee’s men turned their attention to him.
“New objective: escape with the treasure.” My eyes widened with panic. I tried covering the watching, but it barely did anything to quiet the noise.”
Hongbin shot me a glare in response.
Captain Ailee’s eyes fixated on my watch. Something seemed to spark within her. “Interesting.” Her lips curled into a devious smile. “I have my eyes on a new treasure.”
My stomach churned with an uneasy feeling. While Captain Ailee seemed nice enough, the way she stared at me made me feel uncomfortable. It was almost as if she had seen a prize and was willing to do anything for it.
“I think it’s time we leave,” Captain Hongbin suggested. “Now men!”
Two of Captain Hongbin’s men grabbed the chest and shoved it towards Captain Ailee. Instead of attacking Captain Hongbin’s men, Captain Ailee’s men fled to her side in a protective manner. In the slight moment of chaos, Captain Hongbin grabbed my wrist and started pulling me away. The clinking of metal filled my ears as pirates started attacking pirates, and I wasn’t sure who was on what side anymore.
“What about the treasure?” I asked as Captain Hongbin pulled me away.
“Forget the treasure!” Captain Hongbin shouted. “That’s not important!”
“But I need to achieve my goal!” I didn’t know what would happen if I failed to achieve a mission. Maybe I would lose points and lower my rank. I didn’t want that to happen, because if I ended up with the lowest amount of points out of all of my friends, they would never let me down.
Captain Hongbin quickly pulled me off to the side. “Will you quit it with this stupid game already?”
“That’s the whole reason I’m here, and you can’t make me quit it.” I did my best to catch my breath between words. “I can’t believe they gave me such a horrible guide!”
Captain Hongbin’s face reddened in response to this. “That’s not what I meant. How can you be so ignorant? This isn’t a game.”
I was about to respond, but then Captain Hongbin pressed his hand over my mouth and pulled me behind a tree. I tried to wiggle free, tired of being around this captain, but he held his grip tight, not letting me budge.
“Hold still,” Hongbin whispered in my ear. “I don’t want Captain Ailee’s men to find us.”
Footsteps plopped by us, making my heart race. I wasn’t sure who was supposed to be the bad guys in this case, but I’m sure Captain Ailee wasn’t happy with everything that just went down. Plus it was obvious that she and Captain Hongbin were some kind of enemies, and since I was associated with the latter, I’m sure that didn’t bode well for me.
When the footsteps fade, Hongbin asked in a hushed voice, “If I release you, will you shut up for just a minute while we get to safety?”
I nodded, ready to be out of the captain’s tight grip. He released me, and my first instinct was to yell at Captain Hongbin for holding me too tightly, but I quickly shut my mouth. Now was not the time to be sassy. Satisfied with my lack of words, the captain nodded. He reached gold into his boot and pulled out a gold sheathed dagger. He pressed it into my hands. “Keep this with you at all times. It might save your life.”
I looked down at the weapon and gulped. I had never stabbed anyone before, and I didn’t like the idea of needing to do it now, but this was a game after all. I had killed many of bad guys in videos games before and never felt a thing. This should be the same, except for the fact that this game felt just like everyday life. I really hoped I wouldn’t have to stab anyone—or worse kill them—but it was better to be safe. I tucked the blade into my boot and nodded a thanks.
“Now can you shut that thing up?” He glanced at my watch.
“I’ll try,” I whispered, feeling uneasy. I wish I had had more of a tutorial with the device before entering the game. Then I wouldn’t have been so embarrassed and ruined so many things. I poke at the screen, swiping it until I found a little gear symbol. I clicked on it and luckily there was a volume option. I lowered the volume to a vibrate option. I still wanted some sort of way to know when I got a new notification. “Happy?”
“That’s better at least. We should get going.” Captain Hongbin gestured for me to follow him. Unlike the hurry we were in before, we stepped carefully through the foliage, making as little noise as possible. The captain moved with grace, blending right in. I, on the other hand, kept accidentally stepping on fallen branches and bumping into things. This received me multiple dirty looks from the captain, which I tried to ignore. I was doing my best.
Somehow we managed to make it to the tree line by the beach. We paused to make sure the coast was clear. I felt relieved seeing the boats, but then I got worried, wondering if we were going to just leave the others behind. “Are we going to wait for the others?”
Captain Hongbin didn’t take his eyes off the boats. “We can’t afford to. They are on their own now.”
I wanted to argue, but I knew it wasn’t my place. I didn’t like that the captain was so willing to leave his men behind, but surely he had good reasoning behind it. Logically I knew it wouldn’t be smart to wait for the others, especially since Captain Ailee out numbered us, but I still didn’t like it.
My watch buzzed, bringing it to my attention. This was definitely much better. I glanced down at my new objective: Make it to safety.
Captain Hongbin motioned for us to move forward. He moved quickly and quietly. It was the last little stretch to safety and we had to get there before-
A hand pressed against my mouth as a beefy arm wrapped around my waist. I tried to call to Captain Hongbin for help, but I couldn’t make enough noise with my mouth covered. I just watched as he continued on without me, and I new I was screwed. I was pulled back into the trees, and I just hoped Captain Hongbin would notice my disappearance before it was too late. Then again, would he even care? He didn’t care if his own men didn’t make it to safety, so why would he care about me? I was the annoying chick that had been following him around all day, screwing things up every step I went.
I continued struggling against my captor, but it was useless. I was weak and pathetic, especially in comparison to these pirates. How was I supposed to do well in this game when I had no skills and no strength. I slowly stopped trying to escape, knowing it was futile anyway. I might as well save my energy for a possible escape later. Instead I tried paying attention to where I was being taken, but that was also difficult with all of the plants and trees looking the same. There were very few indicators that actually looked unique to me. The only thing that stood out was a rock that looked like a grumpy old man.
We went deeper and deeper into the forest until we reached a tall fence of some sort. The man rapped on the wood in a specific pattern. After a moment, a door that I hadn’t even seen opened. My watch buzzed again: Mission Failed. I was dragged into this camp and brought to what seemed like the center of it. The pirate holding me threw me to the ground, and I fell to my knees.
When I looked up, Captain Ailee was sitting in a large gold covered chair with her legs draped over the arm of the chair. Jewels accented the chair, and it looked more magnificent than any royal chair I have ever imagined before. Captain Ailee definitely lived in luxury.
Captain Ailee turned her head and gave me a heartwarming smile. “Welcome to my humble abode.” She swung her legs in front of her and stood up. “I apologize for the rough nature you were brought here, but I wasn’t sure if you would come willingly with that heathen, Hongbin, influencing you.”
I stood up and brushed myself off. Without thinking, I said, “Captain Hongbin.”
Captain Ailee’s eye twitched in response, but she quickly brushed it off. “Yes, yes. Look, I know you don’t know me and don’t have a reason to trust me, but I promise I don’t plan on hurting you.”
“Then why did you being me here?” It was hard to keep the rudeness out of my voice.
Captain Ailee was very tolerating of my attitude. “I know you must be feeling out of place here. You’re in a world of pirates, a world of men, and you probably feel like you have no power.” She paused, watching my expression.
It was almost scary how on point she was. Maybe I did judge Captain Ailee too quickly. She was a woman in this crazy world. Of course she would have to be fierce to survive. “But how…” My voice trailed off. I didn’t even know what to ask.
“I was just like you. I didn’t want to be here. I didn’t want to be the helpless one, so I changed that. And I can teach you how to have a power of your own. Please, call me Ailee.” She moved closer to me and smiled again. Seeing Ailee in this way completely changed my view of her. She seemed a lot more understanding and kind than I realized. It made me wonder why she and Captain Hongbin hated each other so much. Was I on the wrong side of things, or was there something Ailee was hiding from me?
“My name is Karina.” I smiled, but my smile quickly faded. “So you want to teach me to become more powerful?”
“I want to help you reach your full potential and thrive in the world of pirates, instead of drowning.” Ailee moved a little closer to me and smirked.
“What’s the catch?” It couldn’t be as easy as this, could it?
Ailee tilted her head. “What makes you think there’s a catch?”
“There’s always a catch. Most people don’t just help others without getting something in return.”
Ailee chucked. “You’re a smart girl. There is something I want in return.” Her eyes lowered to my watch, and something in her gaze turned sinister. “I need your help with a little task.”
My watch vibrated again. It read: Stop Captain Ailee from finding the real treasure.
“So what do you say? Partners?” Ailee asked.
I hesitated. I felt like my mission was so vague. What was this “real” treasure was, and why was it a bad thing for Ailee to find it. Would Ailee really help me, or would she betray me? Was there a plot line to this game? Because if there was, I still had no idea what it was. There was only one way to find out all of this information though. “Partners,” I agreed with a smile, hoping this wouldn’t bite me in the butt later.

VIXX Adventures: Leo (Part 3)
Tumblr media
Genre: Sci-fi, Fiction, Action adventure, thriller.
Summary: You’re thrown into a labyrinth with ten levels filled with monsters and the bare essentials to survive. Maybe with some help from Leo you’ll make it through this dangerous game alive.
Word count: 2080
Note: Please Read Previous parts and Intro to VIXX Adventures first!  Chapters: Intro , Part 1, Part 2
As soon as we entered the next level my bracelet beeped with a new objective. New Objective: Survive the night on level five. 4/10 levels completed.
Leo didn’t say a word or even look at me as the doors opened. The frustration and anger nearly oozed off of him and I knew that I was the cause.
 “Leo I… I’m sorry I-”
“Nothing you have to say is going to fix this so don’t waste time talking. Follow my lead, stay quiet and we might live through the night.” He snapped without glancing my direction.
“What about the safe zone? We have an hour.” I pointed out trying to be optimistic.
He growled in annoyance and turned around to face me leaning down and getting in my face a bit, which had me flinching backwards. “There is no way we are going to find a safe zone in under an hour especially not by ourselves. We have no supplies, No extra equipment and we are going to run out of ammunition real fast on a level like this. So realistically there’s a large probability we won’t make it through the night. However our odds will be a lot higher if you shut up and follow my lead since I’m the only one here who knows what they’re doing!”
I swallowed thickly his anger hitting me hard. I was scared enough as it is and I knew that some of his anger was his own fear talking but him lashing out was not going to help me stay calm. “Well if I’m such a problem why bother protecting me at all? Why not just leave me here to die and go save yourself if I’m that incompetent!” I shouted at him out of hurt and frustration.
The anger on his face shifted to a look of deep pain and hurt before he composed his features into a stony mask once more, “ Follow me or don’t but we’re wasting time. We need to try and find somewhere somewhat safe to wait out the night until we can find the safe zone in the morning.”
He adjusted his gun in his arms and started walking off quickly without looking back.
I was mad at myself for my childish outburst and the fact that it had clearly hurt him. We had been finally starting to get along this morning, yet things went sour so fast. I suppose that was the purpose of the maze. I followed him as closely as I could as we twisted and turned through the maze. There were no screams on this level since no other people were around but there were mechanical clicking noises and the grinding of gears as well as some more ominous bestial sounds.
Finally after a full half hour of walking Leo paused at a dead end and turned toward me, “What do you have in your inventory?”
“I uh… let me see.” I checked back through my inventory quickly and relayed what it contained, “I’ve got a auto refilling canteen, a food supplier, a bed roll, a grappling hook, a highlighter stick, a bunch of coin from the boss monster and my weapons obviously.”
“Of course otherworlders get all the good supplies. Figures.” He huffed and shook his head, “Give me the grappling hook. I’ve got an idea.” I obliged and handed him my grappling hook.
He took a few steps back surveying the high wall of the maze. He swung the hook in circles and released it the heavy metal flying up and amazingly catching onto groove in the wall that I couldn’t even see. Leo tugged the rope to make sure it was secure and then tied it around my waist.
“What are you…”
“I’m going to climb up to the top and the hoist you up. Unless you would prefer to stay down here and be monster food.”
“How do you know there aren’t monsters that can climb up there?”
“I don’t but it’s certainly a safer bet than staying down here where I know they can get to us.” He said with a slightly annoyed look.
Before I could come up with a smart-ass response he had grabbed the rope and was tugging himself up the rope. I found myself admiring his arms as he climbed, not in a dang that boy’s fine kind of way more in a I wish I had that kind of upper body strength kind of way. Although one definitely could not say he didn’t have nice arms. In a matter of minutes he had pulled himself to the top.
He looked down and breathing heavily, reaching for the rope to start pulling me up. “Hey wait! You’re exhausted let me try climbing it on my own first.” I called up to him.
“Alright then. Shout if you need help.” He said disappearing out of view again, which made me feel a little less self-conscious about my skill level.
I untied the rope from my waist so that I could clamp my feet onto the extra bit like Leo had and I reached up to grab the rope with my hands. Slowly I started inching my way up the rope. A couple times my feet slipped and I had to start over but once I got the hang of how to position myself it became a little easier. Only a third of the way up my hands were sore from the texture of the rope and my arms and legs ached with the strain. I kept reminding myself how close I was and felt determined not to have Leo help me.
I had just hit the halfway point when I heard a clicking metal grinding noise followed by a high pitch whining noise that grated on my ears. I looked down and froze in fear halfway up the rope as a creature that looked like a tiger and praying mantis had a cyborg alien baby entered the hall of the maze below me. I couldn’t call for Leo or I would attract attention. My only option was to get to the top and pray it didn’t see or hear me before I made it. Straining and stretching I continued up the rope as quietly as I could.
I was almost at the top when the thing let out another cry this one sounding like a warning cry and it started racing at me with its metal legs scraping the smooth maze floor below it.
“Leo!” I cried and looked up but he was already there reaching his hand down the last few feet to grab me.
The thing leapt and made it two thirds of the way up the wall it’s razor arms slashing at me. I screamed and kicked at it, which was stupid since it looked like it was made of razor blades. I gave a sharp cry of pain as a cut blossomed on my leg.
“Hana focus! Grab my hand! Quick before it jumps again!” Leo cried to me a hue of desperation in his voice. I girt my teeth ignoring the tears of pain in my eyes and reached for his hand. He grunted and hauled me up hard the rest of the way falling backward with the effort of getting me over the edge of the wall. Thankfully the wall was wide enough that we didn’t topple over the opposite side. I fell on top of him both of us breathing heavy.
The moment of pause only lasting a second as I rolled off of him grabbed my gun and angrily shot down at the tiger bug thing screaming at in frustration and feeling very satisfied when it exploded into goo. I didn’t realize I was still shooting at it until Leo put his hand on my shoulder.
“Hana it’s dead stop. Hana you’re wasting amo. Hana!” finally he shook me a bit and I stopped dropping my gun on the wall next to me, quiet tears streaming from my eyes as I tried to wipe them away. I saw Leo’s expression soften at the sight of my tears.
He pulled some bandages from his inventory along with some ointment, “Let me see that leg.”  I had kind of forgotten my injury until he mentioned it but once I was aware of it again the pain came back pretty strong. It felt like a paper cut that was just deep enough to be a pain and went all the way up the side of my left calf. I readjusted so that my leg was lying across his lap.
He pulled out a knife and cut off my pant leg. “Aw darn and those were my favorite pants too,” I joked my voice oozing in sarcasm.
A slight snort slipped from his lips and I caught the hint of a smile as he focused on his task.
“I’m sorry was that a laugh I just heard? Did I see you smile? The stoic warrior Leo finally cracks a smile. Wow I feel so successful right now.” I said grinning as I teased him.
He gave me a slightly exasperated look but I could tell he was still amused. “This will sting a bit but it’ll stop the bleeding and make sure it doesn’t get infected.” he warned as he put some of the ointment on my leg.
I hissed as the cut burned and sizzled where the ointment touched it but I focused on Leo’s gentle fingers wrapping the bandage over the wound and that helped distract me from the sting.
“Well I think we’re pretty much stuck here for the night with your leg like that plus this is as safe as anywhere else I suppose. You should get out your camp supplies and get some rest I’ll take first watch. I’ll wake you up when it’s your turn.”
A comfortable silence came between us for a moment and we both looked out over the maze. Leo’s eyes traced the walls watching their patterns and probably looking for the buildings that were the safe zones.
“The louder grinding noises we’ve been hearing are the walls moving. That must be one of the ways the levels get harder from here on out is that the maze itself changes each night. It’s going to make navigating these levels a lot harder, which makes sense. The wardens don’t really want us teaming up and organizing anyway but the also can’t do too much to stop that.”
I listened to his ramblings absorbing the information but also not in a place where I felt like talking more about the mechanics of the labyrinth and the game. I’d been in survival mode long enough for one day.
“Leo…”
“Yeah?”
“I really am sorry I got you stuck in here alone with me. I should have been more careful. I feel so guilty, you having to watch out for me all the time.”
“Well if it makes you feel better you aren’t completely useless, you learn quick and you have good instincts,” He replied with a hint of a smile on his lips. I perked up a bit at his compliments, feeling a bit better about myself for once.
“Also I owe you an apology too. I’ve been especially hard on you because you’re an otherworlder and while it’s true that you have less knowledge about the labyrinth then those of us who get put in here as criminals of war, it doesn’t make you useless. I also have been unfairly associating you with some of my own emotional baggage,” He said as he took my hands and put some of the ointment on the rope burns there.
“Thank you for that,” I whispered softly, grateful that he was starting to open up to me a bit, “You’re talking about the last otherworlder right? Did you… did you really kill them?” I asked hesitantly.
Leo didn’t seem like a cold-blooded murder so I had to assume if he did kill the last gamer to come in here then he had a reason. Though I was rather shocked the company would let someone else in here after a death occurred.
“Yes and no…it’s complicated and a long story. You need to rest. You do have a right to know Hana and I promise I’ll tell you about it. Tomorrow once we make it to the safe zone then I’ll answer any questions you have no holds barred alright? For tonight though you need to rest. Tomorrow is going to be a tough day.”
With that I nodded, got out my bed roll and laid down closing my eyes to try and get some much needed rest.  ~Admin Chu <3

VIXX Adventures and Blog Update
Hey K-reatives!
So Admin Eri and I have officially decided to begin working on the VIXX Adventures series again! We re-read all the previous parts and chapters and will be taking over the stories that our other admins were working on. They are no longer active so it’s just Admin Eri and I running things at the moment. We decided we want to give the main female characters actual names so that will be edited. Updates will not be on a specific schedule but we will still make sure we update all the parts for the series before moving on to the next set of parts.
I (Admin Chu) will still be writing Leo, Ravi and Ken’s stories and Admin Eri will be handling Hongbin, Hyuk and N’s stories now. Please continue to be patient with us as we get back to work on this and may have to rework some details of the stories specifically the ones Admin Eri is taking over.
On a general update about the blog over all: We will not be opening requests and that’s not really a feature we will have on the blog anymore. Our focus is completely on VIXX Adventures and I will be finishing An Accidental Bride Pt 3. We don’t currently have plans after VIXX Adventures so stay tuned for more after that. My guess is that we may post more but only what we feel inspired to write.
Thank you once again to those of you who stuck with us and waited patiently for our return through our TWO YEAR hiatus!! Life can be pretty crazy sometimes but we sincerely appreciate your support!!
Just for fun!! Please drop a comment as to which VIXX Adventures storyline you are most excited to see continued. We love you guys from the bottom of our hearts!

Hello darling! Unfortunately the requests are still closed, and honestly they will probably be permanently. We just don’t have the time we used to, and we want to focus on other projects. We do plan on finishing VIXX adventures and Accidentally Bride. Beyond that, we’ll have to see though.-Admin Eri

Hey Guys Long Time No See
Hey guys! So Admin Eri here. I know we’ve been inactive for a really long time... Life just kind of got in the way. Pink Wings Project
Tumblr media
I know a lot of Armys out there have been a bit sad or disappointed about how few lines Jin got in Blood, Sweat, and Tears and honestly I completely understand it because I have felt the same way. I know Jin has gotten more screen time which is wonderful but there are still a lot of areas where he gets a bit under rated. Don’t get me wrong I love all the members of BTS but I just think Jin could use a little extra love this comeback (I am completely bias). So that’s why I wanted to start this project for next week so that we Seokjin stans can show him just how much he means to us and how proud we are of how far he has come. Please please please help me spread this to as many Armys as possible. Share it everywhere and join in the fun.

Updates~
So I know this blog has been absolutely dead at the moment and i’m sorry for that. I’ve come to realize that we admins kind of go in this cycle of being in the mood to write to not being in the mood to write so our updates are infrequent. Hopefully now that we are switching over to really only writing what we as authors want to right rather than taking requests we wont have as many dead periods? wishful thinking I know. I (admin chu) am finally finished with my summer school classes so I should have more time to focus on this blog and some writing.
To the raffle winners!! I am so so so sorry that it’s taken so long for me to get your prizes to you. @ravenislifejustbc I have finished yours and will be posting it separately for you. I decided to go with digital art so that I could get it to you immediately once it’s done (since I already took forever!) And to our two other winners @hollowchappy @jongindeepbreath I swear on my ultimate bias that I am working on yours as we speak.
Thank you guys as always for following us and sticking with us through our dead periods. If you have any comments concerns or questions feel free to message us.

VIXX Adventures- Ravi (pt. 3)
Tumblr media
Summary: You enter a world trying to survive the after math of an apocalypse living in a dome where you meet a scientist who is tainted with madness and being forced to do experiments to help the survival of the human race.
Genre: Scifi, angst, smut (not this chapter)
Length: 2807
Series: Intro, Part 1, Part 2, Part 3
I couldn’t help but sigh a bit as I fiddled with my bracelet. Ravi had been gone for hours and while Suga had been able to stick around for a bit to keep me company he had other tasks to accomplish too. Him leaving me alone had only made my mind kick into a higher gear of anxiety. I was so torn with what I was supposed to do. The game was telling me one thing but my conscience was telling me another. As I was about to get up and start pacing the floor to get some of the nervous energy out Ravi burst through the front door.
“I got it. They approved me to move forward with the experiment!” He was grinning from ear to ear and he seemed so excited that I couldn’t help but return his smile.
“That’s wonderful! We’ll have to celebrate tonight.”
“Sure thing but for now I need to get a prototype serum ready for tomorrow. The Counsel will find a volunteer to test it out and then we can start production. We will finally be able to get out of this damn dome.”
“Is there anything I can help with?”
“Not that I can think of at the moment. You’re welcome to watch if you’d like.”
“That’s alright I think I might actually go out and get some fresh air.”
“ Alright just don’t go stumbling into any restricted zones.” He smiled and gave my hand a quick squeeze before he practically sprinted down to the lab.
Walking outside while under the dome was very different than walking outside back home. There was no breeze and everything stayed the same temperature. There was sunlight that came through but you couldn’t feel the heat of it. I walked through the courtyard and into a busy plaza. There were little storefront shops and in the center there was a large fountain. I enjoyed watching the people go about their daily life. Seeing all these people and knowing that Ravi was about to make their lives that much better I knew I couldn’t go through with what the objective had told me to do. Maybe it had been a faulty message but even if it wasn’t I couldn’t condone destroying the one piece of hope these people had.
I sat down on the edge of the fountain and watched the water. It was strange seeing a fountain without a layer of coins at the bottom each holding someone’s wish.  As I sat there a small girl ran over to me with a big smile and handed me a beautiful flower.  “Thank you,” I said to her with a smile. She just giggled shyly and ran off back to her mother. I tucked the flower behind my ear and decided to head back but just as I was standing up my bracelet beeped.
New Objective: Pick up card to update TAE’s battery life from the tech shop and complete update.
I was still a little hesitant about these objectives after the last one I had gotten but this one seemed to be a good thing so I decided I would follow it. Walking quickly I headed to the store and told the man I was looking for an update card for the AI that Ravi had been working on. He seemed to know what it was I was looking for and quickly gave me a small little micro chip.
“I don’t have any money to pay you with though.” I spoke quickly frowning as he offered it to me.
“We don’t use money here. We trade and barter things or they go to people who need them the most. Take it. The work Ravi is doing is more important than anything I would have used it on.”
“How do you know what Ravi is working on?” I asked a little skeptical of the man.
“Everyone does he’s been working toward the same goal for  years and some of us have given ourselves to his experiments along the way.” “People have died?” My eyes widened and I looked concerned.
“No, No. Only one and it was a very long time ago, it was during the accident that caused his madness.”
“You seem to know an awful lot about him.” I narrowed my eyes a bit.
“Everyone knows these things if you don’t believe me ask him yourself. He doesn’t shy away about talking about his past.” He smiled at me and handed me the chip, which I finally took.
“Okay well thank you.” I said and I took the chip and headed back to the lab. The conversation with the man had reminded me how little I truly knew Ravi and it planted a seed of doubt in my mind. What if his experiment went wrong and whoever had been chosen as his test subject got killed? It would be my fault for ignoring the objective, but on the other hand if it did work and I destroyed it before he had a chance to test it then I would be damning these people to a life stuck here under this dome. My worry must have been plain on my face as I walked into the lab because Ravi immediately noticed and commented on it, “Hey you have far to pretty a face to be wearing such an ugly frown. Are you alright did something happen on your walk?”
I looked up and blinked shaking my head, “No nothing really just adjusting to this place is all. The guy at the tech shop gave me an update chip for Tae would you like me to put it in?” I smiled brightly and he nodded.
“Sure that would be great! This new update should extend his battery life so that he only really needs to shut down for about an hour each day.”
“Wow so you can keep him running all the time to help you out. Hey wait then I’ll be out of a job.”
He grinned and came up close to me hugging me gently and whispering in a low tone, “Well you can always assist me with other things.”
I blushed bright red and pulled back a bit clumsily, “Hey now aren’t you supposed to get to know a girl first before you start suggesting things like that? We barely know anything about each other.” My frown had reappeared and Ravi noticed again, “ James said something about me didn’t he. I trust you y/n. You can ask me whatever you’d like and I’ll tell you the truth. I don’t want to keep secrets from you.”
“How can you trust me so much when you barely know me?” I asked looking up at him.
“I just do. Something is telling me that you’re trustworthy. As much as I love science there are things that it can’t explain and I think this is one of those things.”
I just looked at him lost for words and he smiled. He places a quick soft kiss against my lips and pulled back gently, “I’ll go upstairs and get dinner going for us. The serum is all prepped for tomorrow so you can come right up after you put the chip in for Tae.”
“You’re going to let me do it? What if I do it wrong and break him?”
“Then I’ll just have to punish you for it and then fix him,” he said with a cocky grin and walked upstairs leaving me cherry red again.
Carefully I went over to Tae and found the port where the chip would go and placed it in. His eyes lit up green, which I hoped meant that it was updating and a small timer blinked on his wrist showing that the update would be complete in two hours time. When I came upstairs Ravi locked up the door behind me so the lab would be all secure.
I wish I could say that the rest of that night was super romantic and we really hit it off but for the most part we just ate and drank and since I am a lightweight when it comes to alcohol I quickly got tired and had to be escorted up to my room.
* * *
The next morning Ravi woke me up bright and early, “Y/n we have to get going!! The experiment is today and Suga is supposed to be meeting us there. Don’t worry though he’s not the test subject today.”
“Okay I’ll be right down.” I hurriedly got dressed went downstairs grabbed a piece of fruit and headed outside with Ravi.
Without even really seeming to think about it or hesitate he reached over and took my hand. I enjoyed feeling his large hand wrapped around mine protectively. It had been a while since his last incident with madness so I was feeling more comfortable around him. We made it into a room that looked a lot like a hospital operating room. It turned out that’s what it was. One of the commanders was there and there was a girl in a wheel chair next to him. She looked so weak and frail and suddenly I was upset.
“Is this the girl for the experiment? Commander you can’t be serious! She should be getting medical attention not being experimented on like she’s expendable!” I was shouting and walking toward the man so furiously that Ravi had to grab my arm and pull me close to hold me back.
“This is the medical treatment she needs.” The Commander replied shortly.
“He’s right,” the girl spoke up softly, even her voice sounded frail, “My name is Sana. I have radiation sickness. I was exposed when there was a leak in the wing that we live in. Thankfully everyone else was in the mess hall but basically I’m dying. If Ravi’s experiment works then I’ll get better if not, well I’ve made my peace and my family and I have said our goodbyes.”
I was heartbroken by this girl’s condition, but all I could do was hope that something good would come of all this. Ravi gently rubbed my arm reassuringly, “She knows the risks and we wouldn’t go through with it if she didn’t want to.”
I just nodded softly and watched helplessly as they helped the girl onto the table and got everything prepped. Ravi filled a syringe with the serum and walked over smiling reassuringly to the girl, “Are you sure you’re ready Sana you still want this?”
She nodded, “Just do it.”
Ravi nodded solemnly and carefully pushed the needle into her veins, even watching made me cringe and I had this pit in my stomach that wouldn’t go away. She hissed softly at the sting of the needle but otherwise didn’t make a sound. She was hooked up to all kinds of monitors and everyone turned to watch those carefully after Ravi injected the light blue serum into the girl’s veins.
Everyone waited with bated breath expecting something miraculous to happen. Nothing happened right away but then one of the monitors slowly showed a decrease in the radiation in her system was beginning. A cry of triumph went around the room and Ravi was beaming uncontrollably.
“Alright you’re free to go Sana. We will have someone stay with you and your family to monitor your condition and make sure that there aren’t any sudden negative changes or side effects.” Ravi said and helped her stand. She was able to walk with enough strength that she didn’t need the chair and only needed a hand to hold for support.
“Thank you Dr. Wonshik thank you so much.” She smiled in total relief. I was overjoyed to see her healthier and I was relieved to see that Ravi’s work was a success but I still had this nagging feeling in my gut that there was something we didn’t know.
Later that night we had all gathered together Ravi, Suga and I for a celebratory dinner of sushi and soju, which I drank a little more cautiously this time.
Suga held up his glass and smirked a bit his eyes warm with the addition of the alcohol in his system, “Congratulations you’re one hell of a genius even if you’re also an idiot in a lot of ways. Does that make sense? I don’t think that makes sense. Is it hot in here or is that just me? Wait am I drunk?! Being drunk is so uncool.”
Ravi and I both laughed softly at Suga and helped him to the easy chair. No sooner had we got him there than he proceeded to pass out.
Ravi and I sat on the sofa close together, my knees pressing against his thighs as I sat sideways on the couch. “Wonshik?” I whispered softly looking at him curiously.
He seemed to almost shiver at my use of his real first name, “Yes y/n?”
“How did it start? The madness?” I asked hesitantly.
He got a sad look in his eyes and looked down at his lap, “ There was a girl I had grown up with she had always been sick and frail she had been born with an extremely low immune system. The doctors said she needed to be careful not to get sick or it could kill her. I came up with something I thought would help boost her immune system and she agreed to try it. It got her sick and she died. I was so devastated that I was determined to perfect the formula I tried with her. I never did I had to give up when the first experiment I tested on myself induced my first attack of madness.”
“How did the formula cause the madness? Is there a way to fix it?”
“It created a chemical imbalance in my body unfortunately even if I can treat the system my body continues to produce the chemicals in the wrong amounts as a result of the experiment. It’s a bit like being bi polar on top of a split personality disorder on top of schizophrenia. I hate having the attacks. I’m not me when it happens and I’m always so scared I’ll hurt someone I love.”
“Still if you created this there has to be a way to fix it. We’ll work on it together. We’ll come up with the solution.”
“Your optimism is very endearing.” He smiled a warm tender smile and leaned closer to me. I didn’t pull away and the feeling of his warm breath against my lips sent a shiver down my spine. A part of me craved him and the fact that he was both a bit dangerous and mysterious only added to my desire.
Just before his lips could meet mine there was a loud knock and then the door was thrown open and a panicked girl with brown hair in a short bob was walking through it. “Dr. Kim!! Please help it’s my sister Sana. Something is wrong. She was fine and perfectly healthy for a few hours and then all the sudden she turned really pale and her eyes went white her veins are sticking out all raised up and she attacked our mother and bit her!”
Ravi pulled away quickly and walked to the kitchen his breathing was heavy and he looked like he was struggling for control. When he turned back around he was grinning from ear to ear and his eyes were glowing yellow, “Looks like your sister is a little monster now. We’ll have to kill the little monster yes we will. Didn’t work. It should have worked but it didn’t. We always mess these things up you see. We’ll have to play with the monster and see how it works.” He was laughing in a dark maniacal way and slowly walking toward the girl. He grabbed a kitchen knife still walking the same slow pace. “You share her blood maybe that’s the key. If we cut you open we can find the answer.”
The girl didn’t scream which as surprising, she glared at him and walked out the door calmly, “Someone please have him contact me when he’s not deranged.”
“Oh you’ll be waiting forever then.” Ravi shouted after her and broke into mad laughter, that was when he turned to face me his expression even more dangerous. “Sneaky, sneaky little snoop you destroyed it all. We know you did. You had your chance all alone in that dark lab and now you’ll have to be punished for what you’ve done.”
“R-ravi no please. I didn’t do anything to your experiment I swear. I didn’t even touch it.”
“That’s what every rat says before we dissect it then when it feels the knife it squeals,” he continued walking toward me the knife in his hand and the bright yellow light of madness raging a fire in his eyes.

IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT
Hey guys! So first off I would like to apologize yet again for how inactive this blog has been lately. I personally am doing summer school at the moment so I’m not as free as I would have liked to be to write. The other admins have been quite busy with work and other creative projects. So two major changes that I would like to let you know about.
We WILL be continuing VIXX Adventures. We are going to start posting them a bit more randomly. Whenever one of the admin’s finishes a part we’ll post it that way you guys have something to read at least rather than having to wait for us to get around to having all six of part 3 done or whatever before we post.
Second we have decided that we will not be taking requests anymore. We may change this decision later but at the moment it’s hard for us because I think we would be more inspired to write if we were focusing more on things we want to write rather than things we’re being asked to write. We may still hold contests in the future where you can win a custom scenario but for now we’re going to focus on our own personal writing that we will post on the blog.
HOWEVER we will still finish the scenarios that we accepted last time our box was open and that are currently in our queue just know that this may take a while as they aren’t our priority. I’m really sorry if this makes anyone unhappy but this is what we as writers need to do to be able to get our inspiration to write so that you guys even have things to read on here.
A serious thank you to everyone who has continued to support us despite our inactivity you guys are the reason we’re here.

What groups are your favorite?
Oh gosh that’s hard. At the moment my top three are VIXX, BTS and Seventeen but there are a lot of other groups that I still like a lot. SHINee is another one of my favorites since they were the group that got me into K-pop.

Will you continue the vixx adventure series? Like having a part 3? Or does it end at a part 2?
It definitely continues. We are planning for each storyline to go for 6 parts with one final section that ties them all back together.

Do u ever feel ashamed of writing smut? Since there are many people who oppose the idea of "dehumanizing" an idol?
I don’t think there should ever be a reason to be ashamed of writing smut. We write fanfiction, which is meant to be a guilty pleasure for ourselves and our readers. It’s just like fantasizing about some movie star, only it’s in written form. Heck, I’ve fantasized about regular people before, like strangers, classmates, even friends. Sex is a natural part of life, so writing about it isn’t dehumanizing at all. Plus, like I said, it’s fanfiction. It’s just meant to be fun :) We respect and care about the idols we write for, and we hope they live happy and good lives.

Just wanted to ask when you'll update the vixx adventures? I read them all last night and I'm obsessed
I’m not sure. We were hoping to start that up again over the summer, but one of our admins has summer school on top of work, which will make it a bit tricky :/ Thank you for the support! And hopefully we’ll be able to continue the series this summer :)
