you got nothing to lose must've been so odd from the audience's perspective because for the first half of the song caleb is performing towards the wings and almost has his back to the audience

Reasons why Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is NOT Glee 2.0
1. It’s good and genuinely heartfelt
2. Everyone but Zoey is unaware they are singing and the music pushes the narrative forward like an actual musical and the lyrics are just as important or even more important than the notes unlike glee when the characters are deliberately singing about their feelings most of the time, performing with an active audience and everyone knows what’s happening
3. It’s good
4. It’s not glee 2.0 but that’s the only comparison we have bc people just don’t make musical shows anymore

If you want to take not one, not two, but THREE emotional-roller-coaster-rides, watch Infinity Train! Now, I understand that often, shows that pull us along with various ways of toying with our feelings are usually ANNOYING, but that is because they don’t actually go anywhere good with what they do; Infinity Train TAKES YOU SOMEWHERE. Honestly, if you truly can’t handle a lot of emotional turmoil because you get invested in fictional characters, Infinity Train might hit you kinda hard, and there is no shame in that. I won’t blame you for skipping it because you want something more light-hearted for your own emotional health. However, if you CAN handle it, Infinity Train is incredibly provocative and somehow manages to be satisfying while still remaining mysterious. It takes us on a journey, and we don’t always get all the answers to every question, but we get EMOTIONAL PAY-OFF. If something is sad, WE SEE THAT SADNESS. If something is happy, WE SEE THAT HAPPINESS. Infinity Train is very clever, disarmingly cute, and surprisingly dark… even after seeing two previous stories, the new third story still managed to hit me upside the head with very dire situations. Character interactions and personal growth are the core of Infinity Train, all wrapped up in a very creative ribbon, with seemingly endless scenarios; every car of the train is literally a pocket dimension, a whole world that was perhaps originally made for a purpose, but full of individuals that have real lives. The passengers of the train, regular people from the “real world”, are not trapped in some kind of dream; what happens to them actually happens, meaning they have to deal with the inner toll of their actions, good or bad, represented by glowing numbers on their hands. The danger is real, the pain is real, and the joy is also very real. Infinity Train is a very entertaining show, worth the ups and downs, and the fact that it can make us care about the characters shows how deep it is~

Cartoon Network announces Infinity Train is moving to HBO Max for Book 3.
Fans: Hey, could we get a staggered release instead of dropping the whole season? Part of this show’s fun is speculating after each episode airs.
HBO Max drops the first five episodes, with the next three coming out in a week and the final two a week after that.
