writing idea:
a young edgy high school student decides to seek vengeance on the world and learns of an infamous villain duo who've been inactive for years: the psychotic killer and the mad scientist. out looking for a mentor, the student finds their old hideout and finds them as well, getting caught in one of their traps. however, instead of being the eccentric villains the town painted them to be, they're just a married middle-aged couple who've retired and are thriving off the money they stole. but they decide to take in the student and teach them their craft with two main rules: never hurt the innocent+ don't let the power get to your head. along with the high school kid, the couple has two other apprentices: the son of their minion & an orphan girl they found

Read, read, read. Read everything -- trash, classics, good and bad, and see how they do it. Just like a carpenter who works as an apprentice and studies the master. Read! You'll absorb it. Then write. If it's good, you'll find out. If it's not, throw it out of the window.
— William Faulkner.

i think the reason why the assassination of Julius Caesar is one of the funniest political assassinations is for this very simple reason:
1 guy stabs 1 guy: not funny. that's murder.
2 guys stab 1 guy: even less funny. that's two against one.
60 guys stab 1 guy: uproariously funny. why do you need so many guys.

Can't handle to see myself, look into my eyes and see through them, every single memory and pain i've been through. That's why I hate mirrors.

Me writing a scene with two or more people of the same gender and trying not to get the readers confused, while also trying not to overuse the characters' names or epithets

I LOVE IT WHEN ENDINGS CIRCLE BACK TO THE BEGINNING!!!
I LOVE IT WHEN CHARACTERS MIRROR EACH OTHER!!!!!
I LOVE IT WHEN CHARACTERS SEAL THEIR FATES IN THEIR FIRST SCENES!!!!
I LOVE IT WHEN CHARACTERS' GREATEST TRAITS ARE ALSO WHAT DOOM THEM IN THE END!!!!!

This is a friendly reminder to give your OC a firm and unmistakable L every now and then.
This is a necessary action to keep your OC healthy for the long term.

If you want to write a dumb little story with a dumb little plot and ridiculously silly characters. No one's stopping you. Genuinely, no one should be allowed to stop you. Write that dumb story with your whole heart and don't hold back.
