There were three main dilemmas in your otherwise monotonous life a) Your inability to work/study when you should and; b) Your complete lack of romantic experience. You have – after thorough over thinking past midnight – come to the conclusion that there’s something wrong with you. Other than the normal kind of flaws that you’re convinced everyone has, of course, like you being too lazy to get yourself a glass of water from the kitchen ( It’s not really your fault honestly, you wouldn’t be this lethargic if Niki didn’t always do your chores for you at home) and getting anxious for no reason in particular and hyper fixating on said anxiety till neither your existence nor the topic of anxiety makes sense anymore, of course there’s also slightly worse issues with you like your tendency to cancel on your friends right before the plan is brought to life (although that doesn’t work anymore and now you get dragged along anyway) or procrastinating all the time and then panicking but still procrastinating and finally, working like a madman and being disappointed if you don’t score extremely well (But that’s the case with most of your friends too so maybe it’s not that big a deal), anyway the point is you’re flawed. Quite flawed. You were still trying to figure out what exactly causes your absolute lack of romantic experience (that’s how Sunoo put it nicely) or your forever disgruntled and dissatisfied state of mind because you never get any (as Jake had thoughtfully offered his version of the same). Sunoo is essentially sunshine trapped inside a 5’8 human body ( you think he’s shorter but he gets mad each time you bring it up, so you’re trying to make peace with obvious lies) and he’s probably the nicest person in your group right after Reyna . Jake, on the other hand, was probably created simply to make every minute of your existence that coincides with his, painfully exasperating. Alright, Jake wasn’t really all that bad except for his constant reminders about environmental issues, which you secretly found endearing and his unrivalled ability to score well on tests you know he hadn’t prepared for at all, he was actually cool. You’d moved past the time where you called people your ‘best friend’ but if there was one for ‘best friend + annoying idiot you randomly want to punch’ he’d definitely get it. While your friends were aware of the first two ‘problems’ the third one was something you’d to deal with on your own. Tired of your friends’ bantering about your love life, you had of course indignantly insisted that you were better off single — it’s so expensive being in a relationship nowadays anyway and you already spent most of your time slaving off trying to pay back your student loan before you turn 30 – of course, you just had to overdo the act and adamantly trash talk every couple which was apparently very offensive (Heesung had said that, and you usually trust his opinion), and now you were stuck at the most awkward blind date you had ever had (and that was saying something considering you had one where the person had asked you to Venmo him a 35 to buy coke).

~Chapter 9~

A/N: OKAY OKAY YOU GUYS LOOK WHAT I FOUND IN MY DRAFTS?? I totally forgot about this, and when I wanted to write some notes for the things I wanted to add to the next chapter, I saw THIS, like a whole completed chapter I forgot to post!! So here it is, I’m sorry some of you had to wait for SO long.

Genre: Fluffy fluff :)

Summary: Last night Felix couldn't stop having this weird feeling that something happened in y/n and Chan's date, so Chan tells him the truth about it.

Months later, the two of you are still dating, and you, missing your sweet boyfriend, decided to visit him at the dorms.

(That's how I think these three sleep in that room, so that's where our story takes place, hopefully it makes it easier to understand what's going on!!)

"Chris hyung?", Felix whispered. It was around 4:15am, so Changbin already fell asleep a few hours ago, but Chan only came back from the studio about half an hour ago, after working on some stuff for their new album. Felix knew Chan wouldn't fall asleep this quickly, and he wanted, no, he needed to know everything is okay... Because he just couldn't let go of the feeling that something happened on y/n and Chan's date.

He couldn't ask you because he felt like these kinds of conversations between you two had to be done face to face and would be too awkward on the phone, and he was too busy doing the dishes earlier (thanks a lot, Minho), that he didn't get to ask Chan before he left. But now that he's back, Felix couldn't stop himself from asking, despite the very late hour. "Hey, Channie, are you awake?", He asked a bit louder when there was no answer.

Chan finally got up so that he could see Felix. He was so deep in thought, he didn't even hear the younger's voice calling his name. "Oh, yeah yeah, what is it, Lix?", He asked. To Felix's surprise, he didn't sound annoyed or bothered or even sleepy at all. In fact, he sounded a little too awake, as if he didn't even think of sleeping anytime soon.

"Well, I...", He started. "Is it too late for us to have a talk?"

Without saying a word, Chan took off his blanket immediately, and made his way down the ladder. He then sat on the edge of Felix's bed with a smile. "Now, what is it you wanted to talk to me about?", He jokingly asked.

"I wanted to talk about y/n...", Felix said. To the mentioning of your name, Chan stopped joking and became more serious. He nodded, so Felix continued. "I just wanted to know if your date went well? Because... I don't know why but like... I had this very strange feeling most of the evening, and then it suddenly stopped, but like... I don't know?"

Felix couldn't tell whether it was surprise, fear, sadness, or all of the above that he saw on Chan's face. "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you about this earlier...", Chan said, then looked at Felix, "But the evening ended so well I almost forgot about it... ", He signed. " Y/n, she.. she almost..."

"What is it? What's happened to her? Is she alright??", Felix's heart started beating so fast, he felt like it was about to burst. He just wanted to make sure everything was okay, he wasn't expecting something to actually not be okay...

"This was all my fault... She got in the water while she was waiting for me and... And then she started drowning... but as soon as I saw her I started swimming as fast as I could, took her out of the water and.. helped saving her and...", Chan tried reading Felix's face. He looked so worried, it broke his heart. "But then everything was great, we got to actually start our date, and we walked together and held hands and... Ugh I'm just so sorry for not telling you about--"

"Chris hyung...", Felix started. Chan told himself this had to happen, he couldn't hide this from Lix. He was one of his best friends in the world, and y/n's brother. He has the right to know. And he has every right to get mad at Chan and blame him for that. But instead, Felix said "thank you... Thank you for saving her"

Chan held back his tears, he didn't know this conversation was going to end this way. He smiled at Felix, and nodded again. Felix gave him a big hug, "thank you", he said again.

"Wait...", Chan said eventually. Realization suddenly hit him. "You didn't tell me you and y/n has this kind of twin-connection thing--"

A loud groan interrupted Chan's words. "Ughhhh Channie hyung, please stop talking and go to sleep..", Changbin mumbled half-asleep. "Don't worry Yongbok... hyung is here for you... "

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

~~ 4 months later ~~

"You invited her here???", Jisung's loud voice could be heard from any room in the dorms. The boys were sitting in the living room, that was pretty messy, filled with plates and cups and someone's clothes (probably Jisung's, but he'll never admit that, unless someone threatens to throw them away). "You're so dead when Felix hears about this..."

"I told you, it wasn't me!! She called me and said she wanted to visit!", Chan said. You two have been talking all this time over the phone and through video calls/messages, and went out for a few (amazing) dates but you haven't seen each other lately as the boys were quite busy. And you missed him A LOT so you thought it would be nice to finally visit him (and your brother too, of course!) there.

"Who's visiting us?", Felix made his way to the living room, taking one of the chairs from the kitchen. When he saw the others' faces he finally realized. "No... Don't tell me you invited--"

"I did NOT invite her!! She said she wanted to visit, I couldn't just tell her 'no'!", Chan tried.

"As much as I appreciate you being nice to my sister, you definitely could, and you should have told her she can't come over!!", Felix said, then sighed. "I'm sorry, but this whole situation is going to be so awkward and... Oh my god, the house is a mess... And she's going to nag and then--"

"Yongbok!!!", Seungmin finally interrupted. "Instead of going crazy, why can't we just start cleaning our own mess??"

"Seungmin hyung is right", Jeongin said, as he got up. "We can do this, let's make our dorm the most shiny and clean house in the world!!"

"Ahhh so cute", Hyunjin whispered and laughed. Then he got up and wrapped a hand around the youngest's shoulders. "Let's do this!!"

"Changbin, you're doing the dishes", Chan said, and to Changbin's sigh, he added with a smile "I'm sorry it's always you, but you're the only one who actually makes them clean in this house".

"I'll pick up the clothes here", Jisung said before Chan could tell him what to do. "I don't know who left them here, but I'll put them in my closet for now..."

And then Seungmin and Hyunjin started cleaning the kitchen and the living room, while Minho and Jeongin started cleaning their rooms. Chan made sure everything was going well, and then him and Felix joined Minho and Jeongin that were cleaning the bedrooms.

After they were all done, they made their way to the living room. After noticing the exhausted looks of the other members, Felix started laughing. "We look so worn-out right now... Just like I was when you guys came to my house, and me and y/n---"

A knock on the door made them all jump.

Felix got up. "It's probably her, I'll get it".

"Hi boys!!", You said as you came in after Felix opened the door for you. "Wow, guys, your house looks so good...", Then added with a smile, "Hope you didn't clean up just for me!!"

✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

“Oh my god, Yongbok, I wish I had a sister like y/n!!”, Hyunjin said as they all laughed because of something you said.

“You guys call him Yongbok here?”, You asked, curious.

“Yeah, most of the time... it’s just more fun”, Minho answered.

You were sitting on the sofa, Chan was sitting on your left, Seungmin on your right, and Hyunjin next to him. The others were sitting on chairs in front of you. “So... Are you guys hungry?”, you finally asked and got up. Getting so excited for the visit, you didn’t even eat lunch.

"VERY!! ", Jeongin said, then cleared his throat and said, "I mean, we are kinda hungry?"

You giggled, then answered with "okay then, let's get to work" and made your way to the kitchen.

Everyone helped. You told them what to do and they followed each and every thing you said. "You guys never listen to me like that", Chan said, half joking.

"That's because you're not as nice as y/n is", Changbin said, teasing, to which Chan made a funny face.

The food was great, everyone loved it and complimented your cooking skills, but being the humble cutie you are, you said it was only thanks to them and their help. Then, they showed you around the house and you asked questions about how they spend their time there, which they all enjoyed answering. Your last question was "How do you guys produce all your songs?"

Seungmin explained to you the whole idea of 3racha and how they stay in the studio until late at night many times.

"But there's someone here who stays there the most", he said, pointing at Chan, who chuckled at the way the conversation turned to him. "He spends most of the night there and then comes back here to sleep..."

"Wait, why won't you show her the studio?", Minho asked with a little smirk.

"This actually sounds nice", you said, looking at Chris with a smile. "I mean, if that's okay..?"

And he was more than glad to show it to you, of course. Looking at Felix for reassurance, who just nodded and smiled as he said, "just make sure she gets home safely, okay?"

"Yes, sir", Chan answered.

~Chapter 8~

Summary: After saving her from drowning, Chan and y/n could finally(!!!!) start their date, watching the sunset together. In the meantime, the boys who stayed in the dorms decide on who’s going to do the dishes, but Felix can’t focus as he feels like something doesn’t feel right...

A/N: I’d like to start with thanking the beautiful anon for motivating me to continue writing. I was very very busy lately since exam season started, and I really didn’t think anyone still cares about this fanfic anymore so I was sure I wouldn’t continue writing, but your message really motivated me to write, and I’m so glad I did because it was so fun!!

Also, I don’t know if it’s good enough but I really like the sunset and going to the beach so basically this is my dream date I guess?? 😂😂

"Are you sure you're okay?", Chris asked you as the two of you were sitting on the warm sand, eating the cookies and the fruits, as the sun was beginning to set, the sky filled with beautiful shades of pink and orange. "I can drive you home immediately so you can rest and maybe some other time, if at all.. I mean... if you want to, we can--", your laugh interrupted his words.

"Yes, Chris, I'm fine now!", You said with a smile. You then looked at him, "Thanks to you... Mr. Keeper?", this nickname made him blush and finally he could join your laughing.

“Wait, so you baked these cookies??", Chris asked. “Yup”, you answered with a smile. “They were super easy to make actually!”. "Wow, really? those baking skills really do run in the family, huh?", he said, and you could only laugh in response.

"Oh, I almost forgot!!", He suddenly called. He opened his backpack and took a huge plastic bag out of it that seemed pretty full. He took out all the candies and snacks out of it, and your eyes widened because these were your favorites back in Australia and you missed eating them so much. He opened all of them and said "Ta daaaaaa".

After you two finished eating, you decided to have a walk on the beach. Chris got up first, and being the gentleman he is, helped you standing up.

"The sky looks so pretty at this time of the day", you said, trying to start a conversation. For some reason, it didn't feel awkward walking quietly with him like this. But you still wanted to know him better... and you liked listening to him talk, too.

Chris wanted to say it so badly. 'You're so much prettier'. But he didn't, as it was too cheesy and would probably make it too weird for you. And he didn't want to do that, of course. When talking to other people, he always felt like he has to start conversations, but to him, walking like this with you- the sea water touch your legs as the two of you walk side by side... It was perfect. He let his hand get closer to yours and finally held it.

You were a bit surprised at first (I mean, he was so quiet you thought you said something wrong??), not expecting him to do what you wanted to do so badly yourself, but his hand felt so warm and nice in your hand that you immediately held it back, looking at him with a smile. He returned a big smile and you could see how his ears turned a soft shade of red again.

"Y/n...", Chris started. You two were walking for a while when you finally found a nice bench, so you decided to sit there and look at the sunset together as some stars were showing. "I had a really great time with you today... I mean, it was scary at first. Very scary. But after the scary part, it was amazing"

You smiled. "It really was amazing for me too", you said, eyes meeting his. "And thank you... for saving my life and for making this date so great...", you let your head rest on his shoulder. He looked at you with the softest look omg you left him speechless... His ears couldn't get any more red right now.

"Y/n", he finally said. Gosh, how you liked the way he said your name. “Hmm?”, You turned to look at him, head still resting on his strong shoulder. "Is it okay if I do this...?", Your confused look changed to a smile in a second as he leaned forward, his soft lips touching yours, both hands cupping your cheeks gently, as warmth started spreading in your body.

Oh, it was a lot better than okay...

"Felix?", Seungmin's voice interrupted Felix's thoughts. "Hey, Felix, it's your turn... Is everything okay?"

The boys were sitting around the table, with snacks and soft drinks on it, as they were about to find out which one of them is going to do the dishes this time. And so they did it in the same way they have always made important life decisions like this- by playing card games.

"Yeah... I'm just...", Felix started. What was he feeling? He wasn't even sure himself. He was happy for his friend and his sister, of course. He trusts Chan to be the best boyfriend for y/n. But it doesn't mean this whole thing wasn't strange for him... which probably was the reason why he felt this strange pain in his chest that made it a little hard for him to breathe for a few seconds...

"He's just worried because Chan hyung is on a date with his sister right now, and..", Minho said, with a smile, but once he saw Felix's worried look he stopped joking, amusement leaving his face. "Oh, come on, It's going to be okay! We already talked about this- Chan hyung is a good guy, and I'm sure y/n can take care of herself...".

"I know, I know", Felix said. "I trust Chan hyung, and I trust my sister to make the right choice. But still... I have a bad feeling for some reason..? "

"Your twinny-senses are tingling?", Jisung asked, shoving two potato chips in his mouth.

Of course, that's how you two called the way you could tell when the other lied, and when you just knew stuff, but they weren't REAL...

"Well, I don't know, I just feel like--", Felix started.

"It's the twinny-senses", Jisung continued, still chewing.

"Uhmmm, I.. it's not like--"

"Just tell him that it's your twinny-senses", Hyunjin said, rolling his eyes. "Jisung hyung wouldn't stop it if you don't", Jeongin added with a nod, whispering.

Felix sighed. "Yeah, it's my twinny-senses", he said, looking at Jisung who looked at him as if waiting for him to continue. "And.. they're tingling?". Felix said with another sigh. Now Jisung finally looked satisfied as he nodded with a proud smile.

"I'm sure it's alright", Changbin said, patting the younger's back. "This situation is probably just a little weird for you",

"I think so too", Jeongin added. "I mean, Channie-hyung is coming very soon and you sleep in the same room with him so... It's probably going to be even weirder for you two".

"Oh no...", Hyunjin covered his mouth with his hand, not able to hide his smile.

"Oh, our Jeonginnie...", Jisung said with a chuckle, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Felix, don't listen to them, everything is going to be okay", Seungmin said.

"And you don't have to talk about it to him, you know", Changbin added. "I sleep in this room too, so if the situation gets too awkward, this hyung will help you!", He pointed at himself, gaining some snorts of laughter from the others.

But it did lift up Felix's spirit. "Thank you Changbin hyung--", he said, smiling.

The sound of a key turning in the lock made them all freeze.

Chan was now standing in the living room, with a smile on his face. "So...", He started. "Who's doing the dishes this time?"

Everyone was quite at first. Chan's hair looked curlier than usual, meaning it was soaked and dried in the cool air, which makes sense as he probably couldn't help it but swim, being the sea-lover he is. But what caught their eyes was his clothes that still seemed a bit damp and were pretty wrinkled. Now, why wouldn’t he take off his shirt to get in the water?? It could be a great way to impress y/n as they all know how great his body looks...

"It's Felix", Minho's voice finally broke the silence. "Felix is doing the dishes this time".

Shruti, you're literally THE sweetest person in this world ever, you have no idea how happy I was when you started talking to me bc I'm pretty shy myself, and it's pretty hard for me to start conversations too! Thank you for being my best friend, and I'm really so surprised myself every time we find something we both have in common, that's just amazingggg ❤️❤️❤️

I realise I'm very late with this but I don't have many people I am going to mention since I'm still relatively new and don't know many people, but I'd still like to thank some people before the year which is like in 45 minutes here.

2018-19 were without a doubt the worst years I've ever been through, but surprisingly the people I mention below are some of the people who ended up saving 2020 from being added to the list.

@nyctophilin : Sunshine I've always been terrible at talking to people so I am still surprised when you text me sometimes, you're such a kind soul. You're the kind of person I can only hope to be someday, you have so much love in your heart and you're hilarious. I am kind scared for you sometimes ngl, because you're very sweet and I don't want anyone hurting you but then you come out with your sassy reblogs and I know you'll be fine 🤭. I love you a lot baby and I truly hope 2021 is an amazing year for you and that I can continue to be your girlfriend because I am absolutely in love.

@jung-snoopy-woo : Maor! My first moot ever! I was so surprised when you followed me back but for a while I couldn't bring myself to talk to you at all. It's been a while since then but you're so sweet and kind and we're so alike which weirdly enough doesn't make me feel weird at all. You are so patient and sweet with me and I am so thankful for everything you do. Happy New Year's!
