Hi everyone,
I think I’m going to use this as a place to keep myself accountable for studying and making sure I’m doing what I need to. Each day I’m going to do a to do list with maybe a spread of what I’m doing. And a to do list and then at night recap my day. Okay thanks for listening I’ll see you soon through the inter webs!

Monthly Budget Template:
So I recently started a new job and in order to keep track of what money that’s coming in and going out I decided to make a monthly budget template which I’m sharing with you all!I based it off the boring template that excel provided and make a few tweaks.
Monthly Savings: The monthly savings formula is the total monthly income/2, because I firmly believe in the saying save half, spend half, obviously you don’t have to spend half your income if you don’t want to.
Add as many jobs and monthly expenses as you want: For example I have 3 jobs, two stable and one infrequent. I predict roughly how much I will make that month and  the alter it with each payslip.
Keeping Track: In the example above I have some suggestions of expenses, with the eating out category to keep track of it as the month goes by I add how much my eating out bill for the night to the expenses list and simply deduct it from the amount allocated.
Cash Balance: This is one of my favourite categories because this is my extra bonus for the month which I can use for anything, or if I’m earning more that month I’ll add some of it to my savings e.g. =(TotalMonthlyIncome/2)+200   So if I’m saving for something in a couple of month I can go back and check each months saving formula and I might have accumulated $800 extra spending money for a month of my choice.
Style Guide: Featuring Pantone’s Colours of the Year - Rose Quartz and Serenity, you can change them to whatever you want, at the moment this is the key: Rose = expenses, Serenity = income and Navy Blue = text The font Andale Mono is included in the download folder - Install the font before opening the template!!
Download the folder here  - (compatible with new & old excel)
Let me know if you have any questions or if I’ve made any mistakes!

hello, it’s me.  With a new printable.

Organic chemistry is literally life, but it always often feels like death.  Every time you fall asleep, visions of cyclohexanes dance in your head and you find yourself drawing ethers and carboxylic acids on your desk.
The key to passing orgo is devoting time to study it from day one and not letting yourself fall behind.  The sheer volume of information you need to know and understand seems overwhelming, but once you organize it, it’ll look more manageable.  These printables are designed to help you lay out each reaction so you can start to see the bigger picture of organic chemistry and maybe the light at the end of the tunnel.
Understanding Orgo Reactions
Draw out the general pattern of the reaction [for example, an alkene reacts with a dihalide to form an alkyne]
Draw the flow of electrons.  This is the most important part.  Don’t just memorize each reaction.  Understand why it works the way it does.  Reactions in chemistry occur via the movement of electrons as bonds are broken and formed.  As you do this, you’ll begin to recognize certain patterns in orgo.  Here are some general things to consider for the reaction:
stereochemistry of the reactants and products
the behavior of different functional groups
resonance structures
placement of double bonds
stability of the product
Draw these reactions again and again.  Hide the end products and test yourself.  Do you understand why the products are reacting in such a way?
Orgo may be tough and you may end up regretting your life choices several times a day but it’ll be worth it in the end. If nothing else, you’ll know at least twenty ways to kill people and make it look like an accident.
If you want more specific tips, as someone who actually passed orgo and came out with at least 25% of my brain cells intact, I can help you out!

Nothing is CHEMICAL free stop saying this. green skincare is not chemical free! You’re trying to say that it’s “Toxin Free,” and guess what? It’s not even toxin free. Stop saying things are chemical free.

anything is possible if you’re productive.
are you screwed? me too!
you know what you can do though?
block distracting websites, fix yourself a cup of tea or coffee (whatever tickles your fancy), pull out the thing you told yourself you were going to do when you were filled with that to do list optimism, and get as much of it done as possible. put on some tunes if you’d rather be binge watching random videos on youtube that are telling you the 10 signs you’re a genius or psychopath or the 10 things you look for in partners. I see u.
Rory Gilmore, Hermione Granger and Elle Woods are watching you.
now go.

“Medical school is not a place for smart people. It’s a place for those who are insane enough to dream of it, pray for it, work hard for it, and live for it. It is for those who are crazy enough to want the sense of purpose that fuels their veins. And, if it is insanity, then let it be, for even if it means more sleepless nights, more examinations to pass, more years in the university and more sacrifices to endure, nothing will change. I will keep on choosing this path over and over again even for a hundred more days and a thousand more years. And nothing in this world can stop me from taking an adventure as worth taking as this, even for a million more lifetimes. Medicine is passion. Medicine is hard work. Medicine is life.”
