Well. I accidentally listened to Kot kot on repeat for half an hour despite kind of disliking it, so some thoughts:
1. The melodic prechorus (or however it is called) is amazing. I could listen that melancholic vibe forever.
2. The transition to the chorus is jarring and the repetitive "kot kot" is awful. I hate it.
3. The actual rap parts are good, not great, but good.
4. The clucking sounds in the background are annoying. I understand why they're there, but I don't like them.
5. The ending is absolutely awful and the worst part of the song.
It's just kind of hard to listen to this, because just when I'm enjoying the singing, the song shifts and kills my vibe. In conclusion, can someone with editing skills cut up the audio and throw away the kotkot part and make the ending just another prechorus?
i saw a few people say they really enjoyed the melodic parts and wanted to have them isolated + without the ending (lol) and what am i, if not a person with audio editing software and mediocre stitching skills?
this is mostly just crossfading and the ending is a little abrupt but hopefully the kääryleet who didn't vibe with the rap & dnb can enjoy this instead!
After Breakfast (Päättynyt aamiainen / Avslutad frukost), 1890, by Elin Danielson-Gambogi (1861–1919)
Apparently this painting is the first depiction of a woman with a hungover in Finnish art, at least by a female artist. It was condemned and mocked by the contemporaries; even Danielson-Gambogi herself later seems to have regretted presenting it publicly, calling it "that idiotic breakfast thing". *
Obviously I disagree with her: I've always loved this painting and its atmosphere :)
