They’ve already done so much which just can’t brush off as “friendship” but there is still room for them to do more and be more obvious so i guess we will just have to wait to see what the future holds.

I am so amused lmao. well at least they're entertaining?

I have never understood why we are the ones called Jokers. Just from the way this one sounds, i can bet my left butt cheek that they don’t watch real content and are probably a chapter two army. They are entertaining anon. Just laugh and keep it moving.

The shipwars between jikookers and taekookers will never fail to make me laugh. Teakook is a crack ship through and through, there's no way around this. The idea that they could ever be a "threat" to jikook is simply laughable. If you look at the big picture it's really surreal in a way. Jikook (a legit ship that has a solid chance of being real) against... taekook. Lmao. Idk it's just funny to me

I feel like the main reason for the shipwars between jikookers and taekookers really isn’t about insecurity (atleast not on Jikookers part) but more about the lies that have always been and continue to be told against jikook to invalidate their bond just to make taekook seem more superior or more “real”. Jikook’s bond has been subject to alot of lies, invalidation and vitriol since time immemorial and jikookers have been fighting tooth and nail for years to defend their bond. The shipwars are silly anyways especially because, like you said, there simply isn’t any comparison between the two but i guess this is a classic case of “when they go low, we go lower”.

Within these last few years, i have watched more and more jikookers grow more toxic in a bid to match taekookers energy because being nice or being the bigger person wasn’t cutting it. It’s no secret that taekookers had started hating on Jimin and wishing him death since 2015 because of the ship taekook. It’s actually funny because Jikook as a ship wasn’t anywhere close to popular back in 2015 but for some reason, Jimin always stood as a threat to the cult. There was a time when barely any Jikookers had any negative feelings towards Tae but these days the hate towards him has grown so much not even because of things he did/ does but because of how nasty the cult has always been to Jimin and Jikook’s bond. It’s kinda sad that we got to this point because i used to love the fact that the jikook community was nothing like the cult but i guess in this case, many jikookers think the best way to fight fire is with fire.

I personally don’t mind cussing taekookers out from 1st to 31st but i like to draw the line at the members. It’s one thing to hate taekookers as a group but it is a completely different thing to extend that hate to the member(s) they stan.

Okay so I have this working theory that Jimin and JK really like each other…

Hear me out, to the where they enlisted together (what?! They did?).

But wait. Why would they do that? They don’t like each other shout solos and tkkrs? They don’t spend time together and didn’t see each other in chapter 2/2023 (not true but suspend your disbelief for a moment).

So my theory is, as I said, they really like each other..

To know they needed to be together in MS they must know they needed the support of the other, and a conclusion to how they know that, is they are each others support, comfort, person. They spent time together regularly which is how they know this. They know not only that they would like to enlist and spend their time in MS as buddies but can cope with this close proximity, how? because they are already spending time together (probably an inordinate amount of time, when they can, in private of course, because shock horror!!!). There is some dependence there. A hint of separation anxiety (as Goldy pointed out) as in I know I can’t be away from this person for 18 months if I don’t have to be. It’s giving bff//S/O.

So yeah, in conclusion they love each other your honour and are each others person and support. The overwhelming evidence is irrefutable.

I hope this is not a “going too far” question lol. But for some reason i often think about those “sus” jikook moments we saw on camera in the years and ask myself if they could be true. Like, i don’t know if you remember that video of the members sitting in a camper or something like that, and Jimin touching Jungkook’s inner thigh with his foot under the table. Or touching his foot under the table again on that vacation they all had. Or that interview, when Jungkook was standing behind Jimin and Jimin put his hands back, close to Jungkook’s… you know. Or that concert when Jungkook was saying he ripped his pants right between his legs and Jimin stuck his tongue out.

I just ask myself if i’m influenced by edits/clips/popular opinions or if moments like these are true and Jikook would actually do it on camera. What’s your opinion on it? Thank you!

Sorry it took me some time to respond to ur ask and no this isn’t a “going too far” question. What fun would it be if we couldn’t even discuss Jikook and their “susness” lol. All these moments you mentioned are pretty sus to me too and sometimes i ask myself if we are maybe reading too much into these things or if there is some context we are missing or if perhaps we are misinterpreting things, i don’t know. The thing is some of these moments are very clear, like you actually see an action and a reaction which means that we are not just seeing things lol.

This moment where Jimin’s foot was touching Jungkook’s inner thigh….. i don’t know how else we could explain it but it is possible that it could have been the angle even though it does look like Jimin’s foot goes far up Jk’s thigh and the fact that Jk leans in and sorta blocks the camera, isn’t helping🤭

That moment in BV where Jimin touches Jungkook’s foot under the table is one of my favourite sus jikook moments because not only can you see the action but you can literally also see the reaction lol. Jungkook looked panicked as hell but my man didn’t move his foot💀

The J-14 interview is another head scratcher. In this one too you can kinda see the action and the reaction. Jimin and Jungkook looking around suspiciously didn’t help my delusions either. What was going on???!!

And then we also have this moment from BV 4. Another favourite sus jikook moment. See eh, one of my favourite things about being a jikooker is that we literally don’t have to force things that just aren’t there. Here we see Jikook seated close to each other in the room with the other members and we can clearly see Jk’s toes rubbing on Jimin’s leg and then there’s a cut and next thing we know the members are asking Jimin why he is all red, Jungkook fleeing the scene with his hands in his pocket (iykyk), Jimin stuttering trying to explain why he is red and then looking down at his “member”, Jungkook later coming into a “hot” room with a huge parker on and constantly trying to cover his front area. Idk man, make of this what you will but this whole moment is sus as hell and i cannot for the life of me find another explaination for it.

Someone on twitter once said Jikook must be freaky type of couple (if they are together like that) because why on God’s green earth would Jk be talking about his ripped pants and then Jimin looks him dead in the eye and sticks his tongue out? How else to you explain this? Is this what some people do with their bros? Bro is talking about feeling the breeze in his tushie from his ripped pants and the best thing Jimin thought of doing in that moment was this????!!!

Don’t even get me started about this moment. Jimin going down on his knees, looking Jungkook dead in the eye and sticking his tongue out seductively????? What was the reason? What was the reason fellow brethen? Can someone explain this to me in “bro” terms because i just don’t get it!!!

This moment doesn’t seem to be a very sus moment to many jikookers but it is extremely sus to me. Not only because Jungkook literally shifts Jimin’s top and digs his hands deeper to caress bare skin but because Jimin literally has zero reaction. Look, i get that all of the members don’t understand the basic concept of personal space when it comes to exploring each other’s bodies but this right here to me is very sexual and Jimin’s lack of reaction and the ease in which Jk does it greatly suggests that this happens all the time. Plus I don’t think i have ever seen Jk do this to any one else. Them touching each other’s pecks, hitting eo in the gonads, cuddling, giving each other kisses etc are normal. We have seen them all do stuff like that with each other but why would Jungkook just feel the need to lift Jimin’s top, to put his hand inside to caress his bare skin? He wasn’t even really paying attention to it too so we cannot say he was just goffing around. Idk man.

This moment right here is also pretty sus for me and no matter how much i think about it, i really don’t see how this can be platonic. Jk literally acts like he is about to whisper something to Jimin but he doesn’t say anything and instead just rubs his cheek slightly against Jimin’s. Why?

This moment too is another moment i sideeye. At first glance, it doesn’t look like much is going on but the more you pay attention to Jk’s hands slipping up Jimin’s thigh and Jimin’s body language immediately Jk does, things start looking pretty sus but maybe that’s just my schizophrenia talking lol

Are we all collectively going to act like Jungkook was literally asking Jimin to netflix and chill here? I mean, i would have brushed it off as friendly banter for giggles because it isn’t uncommon for friends to have some risque jokes but the reason i can’t brush it off is Jimin and Jungkook’s reactions immediately Jungkook said that plus Jimin’s response. Jk goes “Do you want to have ramyeon” which is the most common sexual innuendo in Korea and Jimin’s answer is, “Let’s sleep now, i’m tired”??!!! What?

Just like you anon, i have sometimes asked myself if perhaps we are reading too much into these things but one reason why i don’t think we are is because most of these things only happen with Jikook and no other members. Plus, there is usually some sorta panicked reaction which suggests even they feel like they are doing something they don’t want to be caught doing.

JIKOOK AND THE BUDDY SYSTEM (ENLISTMENT)

I have been going back and forth with myself on whether i should address this or not and finally decided to address it because it seems like even some jikookers are still confused about how some things work in the military and with those enlisted as Buddies so let’s clear up some misconceptions, shall we?

WHAT IS THE BUDDY SYSTEM

The Buddy System in the korean military is a system that allows close friends or relatives to enlist together, train together and be deployed to the same living unit where they will serve side by side, providing mutual support and companionship throughout their military duty until discharged.

This basically means that buddies spend the entire 18 months of military service together. Separating them defeats the whole purpose of the buddy system which is to provide mutual support and companionship through out the service.

CAN BUDDIES HAVE DIFFERENT JOBS?

Yes buddies can 100% have different Jobs but having different military jobs doesn’t mean they get separated from each other. As we all know, Jimin and Jungkook were deployed to the 5th infantry division after their basic training and under that division they joined one of the artillery battalions. The misconception that almost everyone had before was that Jimin and Jungkook could only work with machines just because they had been deployed to the artillery battalion but how it actually works is that, there are different jobs within the artillery battalion. Not everyone who is deployed to that battalion has to work with the machines. As we know Jungkook is a Cook or kitchen police in the artillery battalion where he and Jimin were assigned while Jimin works at the Fire direction Centre in the same battalion. People in the artillery battalion still need to eat and the military cooks are soldiers themselves so that is why in every unit or battalion in the military, you would see cooks, healthcare workers, people who work in maintenance, cleaning etc. There are plenty of different jobs within a unit but it is the exact same unit and the best way to explain this is by looking at two people who live in the same house and work in the same hospital but in different capacities. One could works as a lab technician while the other works as a chef in the hospital kitchen. They do different jobs but at the same place and still come home to each other at the end of the day.

So, not only do Jimin and Jungkook still see each other everyday, they also still sleep in the same dormitory because they enlisted as buddies. I have seen arguments about this with someone claiming that those who work in the kitchen sleep and work in a completely different area and i don’t know how true this is in regular military terms but terms and conditions apply with the buddy system ofcourse. So even if soldiers who enlisted alone have to abide by those rules, they would be obviously different for those who enlisted as buddies because they enlisted as buddies to provide mutual support to each other throughout their service so being separated defeats the purpose of the system they choose to enlist with.

DOES AGE INFLUENCE WHERE, WHEN OR WHO JUNGKOOK ENLISTED WITH?

This is another argument i have seen people make to explain why Jungkook enlisted with Jimin as Buddies and when he enlisted so i want to clear a few things up.

Every South Korean male is required to complete a mandatory military service once they turn 18 years old and from this point, any one can get called to service by their government at any time. Getting called to service means receiving a letter from the ministry of defense asking you to start preparations for your mandatory enlistment and this could be sent to you at anytime after one turns 18 years old. Usually, those who are ready to serve after they turn 18 years old accept the call and enlist but those who are not ready to serve yet can postpone their employment for a maximum of 5 times (5 postponement requests) and only until they turn 28. What this means is that any male in south korea can enlist anytime within the ages of 18-28 but cannot postpone their enlisted after 5 requests and after they turn 28 years old.

Terms and conditions still apply in this case because we know that Jin was able to postpone his enlistment until he was 30 years old but the only reason this was possible was because a law was recently passed which allowed all men who had received medals or recognition for helping to spread or elevate South Korea’s influence all over the world to be able to postpone till 30 and all BTS members got this medals and recognition in 2018. This made it possible for them to be able to postpone till 30.

I did mention South Korean men being able to request for their military service to be postponed for a period of 1-2 years per request and a maximum of 5 requests. So this means that one request for postponement can grant one up to 1-2 years and one can only put in a request to postpone a call-up for a maximum of 5 times. That is why when we usually got the notifications from bighit about the members enlistment, we saw something like this.

Here it states that “Jhope of BTS has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement”

So Hobi had applied to postpone his enlistment because when the call up came, he wasn’t ready to enlist yet so when he eventually was ready to enlist, he applied for that postponement request to be terminated which meant that he was going to get called to enlist at any moment from then.

The reason i wanted to explain all this with great detail is to debunk all those claims that Jungkook was too young to enlist by himself so he could only go in with a buddy and to also debunk the claims that because of the reunion in 2025, he had to enlist with Jimin to get an earlier date else he could get called up much later which would have affected the reunion plans for 2025.

We can clearly see that there was no such thing as too young to enlist for Jungkook because he is well over 18 years old and if he wanted to get called to serve with enough time to make it for the reunion, all he had to do was to apply for his postponement request to be terminated and he was going to get a call to serve his country.

So no! Jungkook’s age didn’t affect who, where or when he enlisted or enlisted with. He could enlist by himself and wouldn’t have had a single problem doing so.

JUNGKOOK’S “SPECIAL FORCES” COMMENT.

Another thing we have heard jikook antis say several times to invalidate Jikook enlisting together was them quoting what Jungkook said during the OT4 Wlive on December 5th 2023 where Jungkook said “I want to do special forces”

So what i want to clarify here is that the translation was correct. Jungkook did mention wanting to so special forces but what the translation didn’t do was give us better context. A lot of context is usually lost in translation and that is why only native korean speakers caught the nuance that we missed.

First of all, there’s more than one special forces. Special Forces is the unbrella term for different specialized units in the korean military just like we know that in the military we have the Army, Airforces, Marines which are all military but operate differently.

Taehyung joined one of the special forces units called 특임군사경찰 which is the Army Military Police Special Duty Team or SDT. The length of time for this is the regular 18 months. The special forces Jungkook mentioned on Live was 특전병 which is ROK-SWC or Republic of Korea Army Special Warfare Command whose term is about 4 years and 3 months. The application codes for both of these are different too and we know this thanks to K Army who were able to tell the difference that we missed with the translation. (These person is a Jungkook solo who doesn’t like Jimin so we know they had no reason to lie about this)

Now, seeing as the term for the special forces Jk spoke about is over 4 years, it isn’t crazy to think that he was kidding when he said that because he knows that he will never be able to do that. Maybe it was just something Jungkook admired and while Tae spoke about his SDT, Jk mentioned it in the moment knowing fully well that it wouldn’t be a possibility.

I have seen jikook antis use this to try to claim that Jungkook’s first choice wasn’t BS with Jimin as if Jungkook hadn’t known for years that he couldn’t do the special forces either because of tattoos or because of the term. Besides, we have just seen proof that he could very well enlist on his own even if he couldn’t do special forces yet he still enlisted with Jimin.

BUDDY SYSTEM ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES

While the BS has it perks, it is not without it drawbacks.

Some of the advantages of the buddy system include, having a buddy to go through the tough period with hence not doing it alone, but because those who apply for the buddy system are not going to be going through the whole thing alone, they are often sent to the harshest units and which are usually at the frontlines or the borders of South korea and North korea. Also, there was a risk of having to start the entire enlistment process all over again if Jikook were not selected for the Buddy System which might have delayed enlistment and caused them both not to be back on time for the reunion in 2025.

CAN COUPLES ENLIST TOGETHER AS BUDDIES?

This has always been the milion dollar question and what everyone has used to try to debunk jikook.

There is no law that states that a gay couple cannot enlist together as buddies in the South Korean military. It literally isn’t mentioned anywhere so a gay couple choosing to enlist together are not breaking any laws by just enlisting together because there is no law against that. Where there is a problem is if two males are caught in any indecent sexual activity involving anal sex or penetration while they are on base. The military still discriminates against homosexual men but people who are not out cannot be discriminated upon can they? So as long as a gay couple are not out and are not caught having sex on base while in the military, they aren’t breaking any rules.

The only rule that mentions anything to this effect is article 92-6 which prohibits all active soldies from engaging into any sexual act with each other while enlisted with a punishment of up to 2 years imprisonment if caught. This rule wasn’t created to punish sexuality but the curb sexual assault which was rampant in the military consisted of mostly men. Up until 2022 it was forbidden for two enlisted men to have sexual intercourse even offbase but the supreme court ruled that this law cannot be applied to consensual acts which happened off base during off duty hours.

Some people have also claimed that gay couples who enlist together cannot come out even after service because they could still be arrested but this is definitely not true. As long as you are discharged from the military are back to being a civilian, the military cannot arrest you because you enlisted with your lover. This is even made evident by the fact that the new law which the supreme court passed back in 2022 doesn’t punish soldiers who have consensual sex off base during their off duty hours. So if this doesn’t carry any punishment then why on earth would two people who have been discharged from the military face consequences for coming out after their discharge?

As far as everyone, including the ministry of defense is concerned, Jimin and Jungkook are bandmates, friends and bros from the same town, Busan. If Jikook are a couple, that is something only both of them know.

All you need to know about the buddy system is on the official military website that you can trust so stop listening to people who don’t know what they are talking about. I brought this up again because i still see so many jikookers being confused about the whole things and because the cult and solos are determined to prove that Jikook are not together.

The official ministry website says buddies enlist and serve together side by side for the entire 18 months but Aloysius from Alabama who has never stepped foot in South Korea or said even a word in korean is busy telling people how Jikook are separated and never see each other. Besides one of the easiest ways you can tell is by looking at their foodtrays. Jimin and Jungkook having the exact same meals everyday, everytime and Aloysius claims Jimin is in the west and Jungkook the South.

This is the real definition of grasping at straws.

I think they are forgetting the real issue. The real issue is that, it was 4am in the morning on Jungkook’s birthday. The members had already moved out of the dorm by this time so this means that Jimin and Jungkook really had no business being together at that time. So instead of Jungkook being together with his “boyfriend” Tae at that time, he was with his bandmate instead and when Tae actually wanted someone to come and stay with him he didn’t even ask his “boyfriend” Jungkook to come over but he asked Jimin instead? Isn’t this weird?

They are grasping at straws trying to claim that even if jikook were together it doesn’t mean they spent the night together but they are not asking themselves what on God’s green earth Jungkook was doing with Jimin at 4am on his birthday instead of Tae who they claim is his boyfriend. Try to ask them this and they throw in a compilation of taekook moments in chapter 2 as if that changes the fact Jungkook wasn’t with Tae back then in 2020 and still wasn’t with Tae in chapter two on his birthday.

Ask a tkkr why their ship doesn’t spend any important days together and they throw the dream premiere in your face💀

All this back and forth means nothing.

Their relationship and whatever it is to them is private.

They aren’t going to tell us about their seeing each other (only the odd time), or whether they went bowling or have been spending time watching tv together. That is their private life. They’ve allowed us to see parts of them, sure, but only a minuscule fraction of their lives. Last year JM could have said he never saw JK (I know that’s not true, but hypothetically speaking) and yet the biggest tell to how that’s not true, is that they enlisted together.

That decision (albeit I think years in the making) takes thought, planning and communication above all. It’s a major decision, a momentous one. It means something to them to be together during it. Whatever we think their relationship is pales in comparison to what it is/means to them.

To me the enlistment is something they couldn’t keep hidden, but it is truly their biggest and loudest moment.

I think anons, poisonous solos, tkkrs and other delusional shippers really need to take a step back and think about that for a moment, and what that means. They may not be together romantically but it still voids all other ships pertaining to these two wonderful men.

I’m talking not only are they the closet in Bangtan, but they enlisted together as citizens of SK, as per their duty, but instead of going it alone, or going at different times that suited their schedules more, or with others, they chose each other.

We are not y/ns, we cannot insert ourselves into what they have. We cannot guess and speculate. In fact it’s disrespectful to do that.

What they have is theirs and theirs alone.

All I know from what they have shown us is what they have…

I don’t know why people don’t respect it and honour it for them, for what it means.

FIRST. Your bar is set in hell. You can't sit with Jikookers. The things you celebrate now are things Jikook have already done FIRST. The things we celebrate are things exclusive to Jikook and Jikook ONLY. That you can't relate too. Jikook were paving the way & doing those things long before your favs even started hanging out in public. Not to mention your favs have done these & similar things with other members & even their friends outside BTS and their real girlfriends, so don't come speaking on Jikook ready to argue and talk the talk, when you can't even provide anything exclusive for your favs, to even walk the walk. Stop trying to drag Jikook's bond. All of these men love each other & have close friendships, but don't get it twisted. Jikook don't do everything the same with others, that they do with each other and you know it. Just enjoy BTS friendships & shut up.

I’ve said it b4 and i’ll say it again. Jikook’s charm is and will always be their CONSISTENCY and EXCLUSIVITY.

Like anon said, let’s just enjoy the wonderful friendship BTS has and stop trying to debunk the undebunkable. I have said it before, jimin and Jungkook being more than friends is debatable and those who care can argue about it from today till the cows come home, we may never know for sure but what no anti can debunk no matter how hard they try is how much Jimin and Jungkook love, care and respect each other and the fact that they have one of the strongest bonds in BTS. This cannot be debunked so it will be better for some of you to spare yourselves the trouble of trying to do the impossible. Please and thank you😌

Lol does it matter whether they were alone or not? They were still together on and not apart spending the day with other people, that’s the point. Jungkook was alone getting drunk on white day lasy year probably because Jimin wasn’t in Korea and which again begs the question where the hell was his partner?

Oh but i thought Jikook hated each other and only hung out when they needed to work? Was going to Antoya restaurant immediately Jimin landed in NYC part of work too? They literally could have eaten separately if they didn’t want to be together but they choose to go eat together so what’s you point? Yes Jimin was in NYC for a reason but was the restaurant part of the travel show schedule anon?

Silver day might have been a coincidence or design but it’s kinda funny how Jikook keep ending up together on sus days or sus periods. I dunno but it seems like even the universe wants them to be together atp.

Funny how you can see through these Jikook anti & tkk anons looking for anything to debunk Jikook, like its like their life goal and job to prove Jikook are not queer or dating. Its disturbing, gross and invalidating how they will downplay Jikook spending couple days together or confirming hickeys, things couples actually do. Instead they write it off as nothing or fanservice cause the alternative would be accepting they're queer, in love and a couple & their ship is not real. Jikook are just too real for their homophobia.

Also this needs to be said. Maybe just maybe, Jimin is in the closet & saw he and Jk were going viral for those white day pics, which were taken by locals & thought if he brushed it off, it would be no big deal. Jikook are no strangers to posting pics of each other on holidays & couple days, but its another thing when you're going viral for being out together on a couple holiday day. Which letting it blow over probably did help, since they went out again & spent Silver Day together alone in NY. They probably knew it would be downplayed. Smart move actually. Kinda like coming up with the idea of a travel show to disguise couple trips you wanna take before enlisting together. Trips where you can soak in that last bit of intimacy with just the two of you & have it disguised as a show. Its win win. A travel show they both talked about before. Enjoying their vacations, making new memories together just the two of them. Unwinding from all their hard solo work. And the best part, getting that much needed couple time in away from everyone and also agreeing to share a glimpse of your happiness with your fans in the process. Their real supporters that they know have their back and wanna see them happy. Jikook aren't an out couple if they are one, therefore they have to make the best of their situation and if that includes downplaying doing couple things together, like spending couple days together. Well so be it. But it hasn't stopped them from doing it. So seems someone cares. wink wink.

IN conclusion. You know very well jikook spending couple days is SIGNIFICANT and how often they do it and only with each other and not your favs. Otherwise, you wouldn't be here pretending it isn't & making excuses to help you sleep at night.

You know taekookers always make fun of Jikookers for celebrating things like GCF, Rosebowl, MMA 2018 and Hickeygate and mind you these are things that actually happened and not thing we pulled out if our asses. They say we are making a big deal outta Jikook constantly spending couple days together and they say we are reading too much into Jikook’s decision to enlist together but you will not believe these are the same people who think that taekook wearing the same tshirt on the same day is decisive proof that they are a couple. If people wearing identical clothing or jewelry was decisive proof of a romantic relationship then wouldn’t the entire BTS be married to each other with kids? Infact wouldn’t Jikook have already had about 10 kids by now since they chose to wear the same custom rings on the same day to the same event on the same ring finger?

Jungkook has no autonomy to taekookers unless when it comes to styling himself and wearing a shirt that Tae also owns. When jikookers point out the fact that Jk’s seven concept photos was very similar to Jimin’s they say we are delusional because Jk was styled but they don’t use this same logic when it comes to their ship. Jk is only styled and has no hand in things when it comes to Jimin but when it comes to tae, Jk who had no autonomy whatsoever suddenly has a right to make his own decisions and match his shirt with his “boyfriend’s” lol.

I don’t know whether couple days really don’t hold much weight for Jimin but all i know is that he seems to enjoy spending such days with a certain Jeon Jungkook.
