succession/the bear sibs

sibling parallels bc the bear and succession are some of the best shows i've seen in that regard... these comparisons are related to their dynamics within their family's and others btw not their actual character as human beings

carmy/shiv: the sibling to put the most distance between themselves, the rest of their family, and the family business, trying to assert themselves separate to their family (both also end up coming back). work and professional lives over interpersonal relationships (shiv and tom / carmy and claire, both not working because of shiv/carmy's inability to let themselves be emotionally invested/availiable, choosing professional lives and ambitions ultimately above these relationships).

natalie/roman: the most outwardly caring and empathetic sibling (trying to connect with others on a more emotional level, from their parents to their sibs), more strongly in tune with emotions in a sense. also seems to bear a large brunt of the abuse from parents but instead of distancing themselves maintaining closeness (romans dependency on logan versus nat being the one to invite their mother to the restaurant). also, unlike carmy/shiv, staying close to home and the family and not finding that distance, despite (initial) lack of involvement in the family's business.

mikey/kendall: prominent struggles with mental health/suicidal ideation and addiction in particular, in some instances the most emotionally volatile and prone to confrontation and conflict. defensive of siblings to an extent, start the series (or precede the series) with the most involvement in the family and their businesses.
