Since Kubrick refused to let us have sluttified Dave on the 2001 poster I decided to make one as a parody of Forbidden Planet (never watched it, i just saw a cool robot holding a pretty lady and went aw yiss, lol)

And lemme tell ya, this fandom needs more fanart of Dave in the damsel in distress poses, also i lowkey wanna do more of these if i have time

scifi is stupid because so much of that genre is the bad robots/ai/droids/cyborgs/rebels fighting against humanity and saying "humanity is flawed deeply... so we have to eradicate you! we will solve humanity's problems by starting over!" and the good guys going "no that's bad! because you'll attack the people i love and that makes me sad :(" like what? shouldn't the argument be "no that's bad because that makes literally no sense at all? if you want to improve humanity then shouldn't you nourish it instead of killing it...? especially if you are in such an advanced society that survival-of-the-fittest is clearly not an applicable model?" and also none of the robots ever have penises. i feel like statistically at least one or two of them would have penises
